Legacy of the Betelgeuse

We decide to go back to the castle by using the portal, I save this location just in case I might need it later. We get out from the portal and Kingstar and all the Ophiuchus with Francesca and the others are still online, they're all looking at us with curiosity. We both sit at the round table with them, Ivonna is resting her head on the table and everyone is staring at her, Kingstar then looks at me while raising his eyebrows.

"So? Did you get it?"

Ivonna lifts her head, she points and opens her hand toward the table and puts the material and ornament that are wrapped with purple cloth on the table. Everyone stands up and approaches her then stands next to and behind her, Chelsea is leaning forward while resting her hands on Ivonna's shoulders and her chin on Ivonna's head.

"Is that it? The godly item?"

Ivonna is shaking her head.

"No, I'm still halfway from getting the godly item..."

Ivonna unwraps the cloth and everyone sees a block of material and an ornament sitting on top of it, everyone looks at it with confusion and then Ivonna points her fingers at them.

"This is the material for crafting the godly item, right now what I should do is to find the NPCs who can craft it for me but I'm a bit tired so we decide to rest for a day."

Everyone is looking at the material while humming with understanding, Diamond is chuckling mischievously.

"It will be a shame if someone stole it from you..."

Ken is scoffing while nodding up toward me.

"Go ahead and try, I bet her boyfriend will beat you up and hunt you down for eternity."

Everyone is laughing and nodding in agreement while I'm just staring at Diamond, he immediately raises his hands and tells me that it was a joke. Kingstar is staring at it and so focused on the material, he asks Ivonna if it's okay to take a look at it, Ivonna nods and lets them check the materials. Ivonna stands up and approaches me then sits on my lap and leans on my body while staring at them. Everyone is touching the material and when Kingstar tries to lift them up, he's unable to do so, the rest are curious and try to do the same but none of them are able to pick up the materials.

"Those material and ornament are bounded to Ivy, you guys won't be able to take them or do anything to them no matter what."

They're all humming and nodding with understanding, then Cho Ahn is pointing at the ornament while staring at both of us.

"So all of these will become what? An armor? Or a weapon?"

Ivonna is looking at the materials while raising her eyebrows.

"They will be crafted into a necklace."

All of them are raising their eyebrows with disbelief and then Alessandro is pointing at the materials with disbelief.

"You will need this much to create a necklace? How big the necklace is if you need this many materials?"

Ivonna shrugs and tilts her head while mouth shrugging.

"I don't know, that's why we are going to find out when we find the NPC that's able to craft those materials. I'm not sure if I will be able to find him or her though, knowing that the craftsmanship that was able to craft this thing was from the ancient time, so I'm not sure if he or she is still alive now."

Grisell is staring at the materials and then looks at Ivonna.

"Are you sure that it can only be crafted by a specific NPC? Players can't craft it?"

Ivonna looks at me and I nod at her, she then looks at Grisell and nods.

"Yeah, it needs to be crafted by a specific NPC or it won't become a godly item."

Grisell is humming with understanding while sighing with disappointment, I tilt my head and look at Grisell while pointing at the material.

"You still can craft it but it won't become a godly item, instead it will become a legendary item with 10% of the original godly item's stat and of course, the passive or active skill won't be passed down since it requires the NPC's unique and ultimate skill to awaken it."

Kingstar is squinting his eyes while staring at me with suspicion.

"How do you know that?"

Liu scoffs and shakes his head.

"Are you still going to question his knowledge, Kingstar? You know the answer and I don't think it's necessary to ask him that question."

Some of them are chuckling while Diamond and Lothair are making fun of Kingstar by doing what a musclehead does. Kingstar and Queenstar are glaring at them both, Diamond and Lothair immediately run away from them while giggling. Leo is reaching on the ornament, and when he touches it he immediately retracts his hand while wiggling it, everyone is confused and Leo warns them that the ornament is very hot. They're all looking at each other and then try to touch it, they're all reacting the same as Leo, Ivonna is confused and decides to touch it but for her, it doesn't feel hot or anything. I point at the ornament while resting my head on my fist.

"That's because the ornament contains the raw energy of divine power. It's similar to the gemstone that Saintess Aria brought to defeat Alucard, so nobody can possess that power if you're not blessed by Heugron, the owner of that divine power."

Everyone is looking at me and then Boschwell is chuckling while raising his eyebrows and staring at the others.

"I guess we should start praying in the Holy Temple so we will be blessed with divine power."

Sigryd is furrowing his forehead while staring at him.

"What's that supposed to mean? Are we damned sinners or something like that? That we are punished by the divine power?"

Everyone is snorting and holding their laughter while Boschwell is smiling and shrugging.

"What I'm saying is that we might need that if we want to have that godly item."

Everyone is humming with understanding but Kingstar is scoffing while shaking his head.

"I don't think it's necessary anymore since this godly item is going to be Ivonna's possession."

Boschwell is shrugging his mouth while raising his eyebrows.

"Well, that's true but that doesn't mean the other godly items won't require us to be able to withstand the divine power though."

Ivonna is smiling while sitting back on my lap then grabs my arm and puts it on her lap.

"Not all of them require you to have that power, you will find out the whole truth about Orion, Gods, Goddesses, Heroes, and other things once you receive the quest. Your mind will be blown away when you know everything, even right now I still can't believe that this world is fascinating."

Everyone is looking at Ivonna and then I look at them while pointing at the materials.

"You should know that the godly item isn't exclusively to one player, right? That's too broken if only one player that can possess one of the twelve godly items. I believe there will be a capacity for how many players can do the godly item quests, and it's the same as players chosen as heroes. So why don't you guys try and get yourself the Thera's Heart from Queen Arachne?"

Aeris looks at the others and nods in agreement.

"I think he's right about that, and the community will be so pissed if only one player can have the godly item. It will create a huge wall and gap between that person and the rest of the players, so I believe what he said is make sense. We should ask about this to the developer or at least to Admin Sev about this in the forum."

Kingstar is walking back to his seat and nods in agreement.

"Yeah, that might be true. We should ask this to Admin Sev and I think it will be good for the players to know that there are godly items in the game and how many of them that can possess them so everyone can do their best to get them. Well, even though they know that there are godly items in the game, I don't think they will be able to do it on their own so I think it's fine to tell the world about it."

Grisell is eating her snack while staring at Kingstar.

"Well, you care about our public image so I guess it will be a good thing for us to represent the players across the world and it will give us a good image to the whole community."

Everyone is nodding in agreement, then Ivonna looks at Kingstar while wrapping the materials back. I look at Kingstar and the others and it seems that they're free right now so I guess I might need their help.

"So, are you guys free right now?"

Everyone looks at me including Ivonna, Kingstar looks at the others and then looks at me.

"Well, some of us are but I don't think about Francesca and the others, why do you ask?"

I look at them and nod.

"I need all of your help to help us find information about the NPC."

Kingstar looks at me and nods.

"Yeah, sure, I guess we might need that information as well in the future, so you don't have to feel in debt with us for this one."

The others nod in agreement and then Kingstar stands up while equipping his equipment.

"So, where are we going?"

I look at them and raise my eyebrows.

"The Lost Dynasty, Mauron Empire with the sandstorm phase."
