Kiss Me Not

At Hansen Mansion, Country B

The next day, Kimmy was up early but, as usual, not as before as her mother. She heaved a sigh as she stood up from the bed and did some stretching. Last night, there was only silence between her and Cain when he drove her back home. She also hurriedly went out of his car to go inside the house because of embarrassment.

Today, they would see each other again at work, and she was too embarrassed to face him after what happened last night. She wondered what Cain was thinking right now.

"I'm a pervert!" she murmured annoyingly, followed by the grabbing of her hair and shaking it like a crazy woman. It would have been easier if they were drunk, and she could pretend not to recall her craziness, but they weren't.

"Maybe I will just pretend to be sick and unable to go to work instead," she whispered.

There was a knock on her daughter, and Kimmy quickly jumped on her bed and covered herself with a quilt.

The door opened, and she heard footsteps that she assumed were her mother.

"Kimmy dear, it's already late. Wake up already and some breakfast, or else you will be late for work," Leila commented. She fell asleep waiting for Kimmy, and she could not believe how she slept so deep that she did not feel Kimmy joined her on the bed. She asked the security and said Kimmy got back home in less than half an hour when she left. 

When she woke up, Kimmy was cuddling her in her deep sleep. She was dying of curiosity about what happened to her and Cain last night and where the two went. 

Kimmy coughed and murmured, "Mom, I want to sleep more. I am not feeling well. Can you call Cain instead and tell him that I am sick?"

Leila's face paled. 'What in the world did you and Cain do last night for you to feel sick like this?!' Leila wanted to nag Kimmy but didn't.

"Mom…" Kimmy acted in her cracked voice.

"What are you feeling?" Leila worriedly asked.

"My throat is itchy and aching, mom. I feel a bit sick and tired. I will be okay in a while after a good rest for sure, so I will not go to work today," Kimmy lied.

'OMG!' Leila mused as various perverted thoughts entered her mind on why Kimmy had a sore throat. 'Did she take it all in?' The idea was making her go crazy! She understood that they were all living now in a new generation, and only a few remained conservative; however, she still could not believe that Cain and Kimmy would already do things fast when they both were not even in a formal relationship!

Leila wanted to pull her daughter's hair but controlled herself and barked, "Fine! Rest! I will call Cain and ask a servant to bring you food inside in case you want to eat!"

Kimmy frowned, hearing the high-pitched voice of her mother. 'Is she mad?' Kimmy mused, confused with the sudden change of voice tone of her mother. She could not see her since she was facing the balcony, lying sideways.

Kimmy heaved a relieved sigh when she heard the closing of her door. She quickly grabbed her mobile phone and turned it off for the fear that Cain would call, and she once again failed in ignoring him.

At GB Entertainment and Networks Company Building, country D

Mitch and Berri were both excited to wrap up and finish all their pending and endorsement to their team because they had a flight scheduled in the evening going to country B. Brione and Gavin invited them to attend the coronation day.

Mitch bit her lip as she thought of a gift to bring to her boyfriend, Kevin. It had been a while since they last saw each other in person, and they truly missed each other though they do a video call daily. Being together in person was still the best in a relationship.

She dialed Berri's direct line and said, "Let's go out later for lunch early. I wanna stop at the mall and buy some presents for Kevin."

"Wow, our Mitch is such a thoughtful girlfriend now! But I think Kevin will appreciate a more aggressive gift!" Berri commented, followed by her wicked grin.

Mitch, who was as dense as she could be, asked, "Huh? What do you mean?"

"Goodness! How old are you? It's not like you were born yesterday! Of course, Kevin misses you so much, and I'm sure he is dying to get intimate with you if you know what I mean…"

"I don't know what you mean, Berri, so stop going in circles and tell it to me directly!" Mitch mumbled with a pout, getting anxious about what Berri was referring to.

"Have sex." Berri straightforwardly uttered.

"But we are not married, Berri, and you know I'm conservative in things like that!" Mitch scolded, earning a rolling of eyes on Berri's side.

"Fine, then do it, but you can still please him without doing the deed completely. I heard some men like their women doing it, and it's also making the connection and bond in a relationship stronger." Berry advised.

"Really? You have to tell me. Come here in my office and tell me more!" Mitch burst, making Berri burst out in a fit of laughter.

"Hey, aren't you feeling awkward if I tell you directly? Geez, I still have a lot of pending things to wrap up here in the office rather than tutoring you on how to please your boyfriend. Mitch, why are you so cruel to this poor single lady, huh?" Berri jested.

Mitch shrugged her shoulders and whispered, "You know I so lack on things like that…"

"Okay, fine. I will send you the links to read and watch, alright? You need to remember them, okay, and you will be fine…" Berry murmured with a grin, still amused with Mitch's naiveness in her old age.

"Thank you, Berry!"

The call ended, and not so soon, Mitch opened the links Berri sent, making her jaw dropped.
