Kiss Me Not

Chapter 139 - Lewd Mind

At Mitch's Apartment

Mitch kept pacing back and forth in front of her wardrobe. She couldn't decide what dress she should wear for a date. She had been standing there for an hour now.

Different dresses were scattered on the bed. She was looking at them while sighing helplessly.

'Who would have thought that picking a dress for a date would be this more difficult than managing Brione's schedule?' Mitch lamented to herself.

She had to admit that she lacked experience when socializing with men as she focused herself on her work. Aside from choosing a dress, she was anxious and worried about how her date with Kevin would turn out.

'Gosh. I hope I will not ruin everything. I don't know what to do. Sigh, why am I getting nervous like this? It is just a date for goodness sake! It's not like I am getting married or something.' Mitch kept talking to herself.

Left with no choice, Mitch finally asked for a friend's help. She regretted refusing Berry's offer because she thought she could easily handle it well.

Besides, she knew Berry's attitude. She had a blabbering mouth and she would certainly become a center of her teasing so she tried her best to avoid asking for Berry's help.

However, she had to eat her pride now and stop being stubborn. Berry would be able to help her with this kind of concern.

Among the three of them, Berry was considered an expert when it came to dating. Well, it was given since Berry was known for being a playgirl.

They also often called her a love guru. Though she was a little bit embarrassed, Mitch had no choice but to ask Berry for backup support.

It did not take long when Berry arrived in her place, barging into her room with her cheerful mood.

"Mitch! No need to worry because your love guru is here!" Berry said enthusiastically, winking at Mitch.

Mitch didn't know whether to cry or laugh because of Berry's overdramatic grand entrance in her room.

Meanwhile, Berry couldn't help but shake her head seeing the current state of Mitch's room and her wardrobe.

"Did a typhoon visit your room, Mitch? Haha."

Mitch rolled her eyes skyward.

"Haha, I knew it! In the end, you will still need me, my dearest Mitch!" Berry said with her eyes beaming with confidence.

"I have no more time left. Just get me a dress please?!" It sounded more like a command rather than a request since Berry had become annoying again with her blabbering mouth.

"Of course! I will help you to the best of my ability so that Kevin will drool over you once he sees you! Oh my gosh, I still can't believe it! You are finally going out for a date with a man!"

Berry kept talking as she scanned through Mitch's wardrobe, her eyes glowing with excitement. She picked some dresses that would suit Mitch's figure better.

"The ship is now sailing! Don't forget that I am the one who shipped you first with him. So I am rooting for both of you."

"See, I told you before that he was checking you out when we were still in Pedru Island. You didn't believe me at first!"

Mitch could only blush at Berry's words. She didn't expect this to happen as well.

After a few minutes, Mitch tried the dress Berry chose for her. It's an off-shoulder knee-length pink dress. The dress emphasized her curves, sexy but not too revealing.

Berry had a satisfied smile on her face as she watched Mitch from head to toe.

"This is perfect! Now, all we need to do is to put on some light makeup and tie your hair to flex your flawless neck and shoulders!"

Berry also helped Mitch with her hair and makeup. While they were working on it, she didn't forget to give Mitch some pointers on what to do during her date.

"Be mindful of his action, if he touches your hand, just let it be. There's nothing wrong with two people touching and holding each other's hands during their dates."

"Touching your face is fine too. But once his hand touches you below the neck and above your legs, Ahem… that only means the guy doesn't have a pure intention!"

"Gosh, Berry, your lewd mind is working actively again. You are making me more nervous, do you know that?" Mitch spat back at her.

Berry just let out a soft giggle as she noticed how tense her friend was just watching her expression.

"Hahaha, Don't worry. I think Kevin is a good guy. He has the purest intention for you! So do your best and entertain him well, okay?"

"Your secret weapon is this," Berry said, holding Mitch's chin as she turned her face to look at the mirror.

Mitch just frowned at her words as she didn't know what she was trying to say. 'Secret weapon?'

"I mean, you should always smile. That's your greatest secret weapon."

"And don't forget to make eye to eye contact when talking to him. Make sure that you should look interested in him as well. Okay?"

She knew that Mitch sucked at making a good conversation so Berry gave her some tips. She should be more comfortable talking to Kevin.

In the end, Berry gave her very important advice as she reminded her.

"Mitch, don't worry too much. Just be yourself. Like I said before, if you are not good at words then show it with your actions!"

When the makeover was done, Berry pulled her up and turned her around to face her. She was grinning from ear to ear as she stared at Mitch's lovely face.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? Stop grinning like a fool, you creep me out!"

Berry just let out soft giggles at her words.

"I'm just so happy that finally you will go out of your shell and hang out with someone. Go, girl! Get that man! Make him fall head over heels for you!" Berry said some encouraging words and at the same time, teasing Mitch.

"Kevin is a good catch! Gosh, he is the head of security of the royal family!"

Mitch ignored her teasing. She was trying her best to wash away her nervousness.
