Ye Zhi knew that all of her actions were being watched, so she quickly collected her emotions and briefly nodded to Gu Ren as a form of greeting. Her expression did not fluctuate as the whole situation unfolded and she and Sheng Man entered the elevator.

After the elevator door closed, Ye Zhi and Shan Qian, who were familiar with each other, nodded and smiled at each other. At the side, although Sheng Man knew him, she never liked to greet people in the first place and didn’t really want to bother to do so. The elevator fell silent for a while.
