“So, you guys gonna start talking, or do we need to torture you?” Zack asked while waking up the group members who stared at him with hatred.

“Just cause you have two overgrown birds don’t you think that we will be afraid of you.” One of the guards from earlier spat at Zack’s feet as he sighed.

“Torture it is.” He had already tied all of them so now, he just had to start torturing them.

Zack turned the daggers of the sky back to Chastiefol as grabbed the guard’s collar and lifted him.

Emma had already used one of his skills to dislocate the man’s joints and prevent him from moving.

Due to the hunter class, Emma also knew two torture techniques but she decided to wait to use them and instead looked at Zack’s skills.

The black-haired boy then put the golden spear between the man’s legs and suddenly dropped him down.

His body fell on the spear as a shriek escaped his throat.

Zack then lifted his body once again and turned Chastiefol into daggers of sky. He then made the daggers fly right below the man’s groin as the guard looked at him with a terrified expression.

“I will tell you everything I know! Don’t do that!” He shouted as Zack threw him below Emma.

“While you hear what he has to say, I will go ahead and break the rest of these guys,” Zack announced as he looked at the group with a devious smile.

The other guard fell to his knees and surrendered too.

Now all those who were left were the 8 people.

“We won’t break that easily, and definitely not by a teenager.” The man who had almost attacked Emma stared at Zack with a smile.

He had a feeling that both of them were doing this for the first time and that meant that the boy was still an amateur.

Furthermore, the men had received training for such situations so they were confident that nothing would happen to them.

Unfortunately, they were wrong.

Their screams resounded around the entire sewer until Zack had obtained all the information he had wanted.

After throwing a few bodies and cleaning the blood using the water gun skill, Zack turned to look at Emma.

“So, what did they tell you?”

“Apparently this place is not the headquarters. It is a turnover spot from where they send the women to their subordinates. The subordinates then take the women to their headquarters.

The women are trained on the way and sold. According to what I heard, the same thing was about to be done to me too.” Emma replied with a grim expression.

Even though the women who got captured were NPCs, Emma still felt bad for them.

“Now, we need to compose a letter.” Zack opened his inventory to see a white-colored envelope being there.

Inside the envelope was a piece of paper and a pen.

He had brought it earlier in the day since he had a feeling that there might be a use of it.

“To King Jonathan,

We managed to find some suspicious people in the city and interrogated them. We are sending seven of them to you using our eagles.

I will also write down everything they said at the back of this letter.

Zack.”

Zack read out loud as Emma nodded. He then turned the letter to the other side and quickly noted everything down.

He then gave the letter to Daedalus as the eagle stored it in his own inventory.

Having a guild beast also allowed the beast to have their own inventory even though Daedalus had one before that.

Zack then pushed four people on Daedalus’s back and three on Icarus’s back before saying their goodbyes to them.

The eagles took off and swiftly moved out of the city. No one was able to see them and fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the brightly lit capital.

The guards had long since recognized the two eagles but they couldn’t see them in the darkness.

Daedalus and Icarus directly moved towards the castle to see the king standing on the balcony of his room with a smile on his face.

[0)ᴠᴇʟ ‘I can see both of you so just come here.’ Jonathan said telepathically which surprised the two eagles.

But they didn’t say anything and just dropped the seven people at the king’s balcony and handed him a letter.

Jonathan read the contents of the letter with a grim face as he looked at the two eagles.

‘Tell your owners that they should be careful while doing the last part of the quest.’

”They are our partners, not owners. And sure, we will tell them.” Icarus and Daedalus said the same thing before the two eagles flew away.

Jonathan watched them fly away with a sigh before he looked at the ten men and decided to conduct his own research.

Zack and Emma, on the other hand, received notifications of the second part of the quest being completed.

Now they were level 23 and had appeared in the top 400 rankings.

The number of slaves in the entire kingdom is increasing by a rapid number as more and more people are vanishing, especially young girls.

– Head towards the turning-over point and find out more about the person running everything from behind.

Now they only had to complete one last part of the quest before they received the huge boost they wanted.

‘Looks like things will finally go back to normal.’ Zack thought with a smile as the two of them then started making their way towards the final part of the quest.

Only 15 days remained for the major quest they had.
