Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

While Kai went inside the heavens in search of his brother, Lucifer appeared in a new place with half of his mind lost to the dark energy inside him.

He could feel the energy forcing him to take revenge as he looked down to see a party of humans. All of them were dressed in armor except a single person with white hair.

The young man stood at the head of the group and wielded a single golden spear. Lucifer’s eyes narrowed a bit when he saw the spear as he was able to identify it as Chastiefol.

However, he didn’t notice that his wings had started blackening at a much faster pace. It was  as though the dark energy had increased its pace.

Lucifer suddenly felt a sharp pain rise in his right eye as though someone had stabbed it. He released a loud groan as a black ray shot down towards the party.

The white-haired man wielding the spear suddenly summoned a moose before jumping in its back and dodging the black ray.

Three of the humans weren’t that lucky as they were killed by the attack. Lucifer managed to control himself  just in time to notice two things.

One, there was a black-haired man in the party who held a blue lance in his hands. The weapon reminded Lucifer of something he had seen in Zack’s hand yet he had no idea how the weapon got there.

The second thing was the white-haired man setting down on the ground and muttering a few words. A huge golden flower appeared behind himself as a few golden drops fell on the ground.

The next second, the same three humans rose again which reminded Lucifer how Zack used to do the same thing.

The angel could feel his mind slowly getting lousy as he realized that with the changing of his wings, his entire body was changing.

Lucifer then squinted at the group once again as he saw the moose kick one of the party member in his direction.

Lucifer entire body went limp when he saw that the one approaching him was none other than Zack.

Perhaps it was the fact that Uriel’s death had hit him a bit too hard or something else but Lucifer wasn’t able to tell the fact that the Zack flying in his direction was not the Zack he knew.

But it was too late since Lucifer’s mind had went blank.

[0)ᴠᴇʟ He raised his right hand and shouted loudly. A black void suddenly extended from his body as the entirety of his wings had turned black and the dark energy inside him had corrupted his soul.

The Zack flying in his direction suddenly got hit by the void but he managed to last for a few seconds before being killed inside it.

Lucifer’s rampage didn’t end there though the void vanished with Zack’s death. The loyal angel of heavens suddenly released all of his powers as a crown made from blood fell on his forehead.

He unleashed wave upon wave of flames towards the group of humans and killed them before the white-haired man could do anything.

But unknown to him, Chastiefol had silently vanished from the spot which had left the man defenseless and had resulted in him getting killed.

Lucifer then went ahead to destroy the entire place and no one could stop him. He only calmed down when he had killed every single one of the humans present in the world of Hikari.

He expected gods to descend suddenly but nothing like that happened.

He was instead left kneeling in the middle of the ocean with his black wings coming out in a downwards direction.

His eyes were burning with regret yet he knew that he hadn’t been in control of himself while going on that rampage.

‘Why isn’t anyone showing up?’ Lucifer suddenly thought as he stood up while staring at the sky.

The sun had been hidden by the clouds as blood washed the streets of every single human civilization on Hikari.

Yet even after all that, none of the gods had stepped foot on the land in order to capture Lucifer.

“You know, you would have been captured if not for the fact that this wasn’t the main timeline.” A voice suddenly entered Lucifer’s ears as he turned around to see Kai and Odin  floating behind him.

“Hey Lucifer.’ Odin said with a grin as he snapped his fingers and a purple spark appeared around Lucifer.

The angel felt some kind of burden being lifted of his body as the land suddenly slipped away. He appeared in a forest alongside the two other gods standing right beside him.

“What do you mean?…” Lucifer asked in a confused tone as Kai sighed and walked forward.

He then placed his right hand on top of Lucifer’s shoulder before stepping back. He then waited for his actions to take its effect as Lucifer’s eyes suddenly went hazy.

They returned to normal a few minutes later as his body suddenly shuddered. He looked at Kai and Odin with wide open eyes before slightly opening his mouth.

“Is that the truth?” He asked slowly as the two gods nodded together.

“Everything you saw was the truth. Those were the punishments all of us received after that event and you might have said that it was well deserved. But now that you know the truth, do you really think that we did something wrong?” Odin asked as Lucifer didn’t know what to say.

He tried to find some sense in what he had seen but it was pretty clear that there was no way for him to tell whether the things he had seen were actually the truth or not.

‘But didn’t you notice all the things that had happened due to the punishments all of them had received?’ His brain suddenly spoke as he took a deep breath and went over everything again.

After thinking about it for ten minutes, Lucifer finally made a decision and told about it to the two gods.

“I believe that its the truth and though I would like to see a few more proofs, I am on your side now…”

On the other side, Zack felt as though someone had passed a knife through his stomach and had taken it out in less than a second without leaving any wound.

‘I thought I was dead there…’ Zack patted his hands all over his chest just to make sure that there wasn’t a real cut there.

[ You all right, Zack? ] Lance, who was once again combined with Zack, asked as he could sense that something was wrong with the boy.

‘Nothing. I just felt as though someone had stabbed me. Must be because of the move I used earlier.’ Zack shrugged it off as though it was nothing as he looked down at the capital.

His eyes immediately traveled towards the portals from where the beasts were continuing to spill out.

Hayden was dutifully killing all of them for who knows how much time but when he saw Zack and Eva, he looked as though he would crash down.

“I thought you guys forget about me!” He shouted as an unknown smile appeared on Zack’s face.

He no longer looked like the Zack from an hour ago when he had killed Uriel and had turned him. He was back to his usual self yet both Eva and Lance felt a bit uneasy around him.

“You did good, Hayden. Now let me handle the things from here.” He replied before flying straight towards the portals.

His body suddenly caught fire as two Phoenix wings appeared behind him.

Zack crashed into all four of the portals with the help of his wings as he managed to kill quite a number of undead at once.

He then went on to the other side using one of the portals to see that Xelor was still doing the same thing and summoning undead after undead.

“So you are back now and by the looks of it, you are much stronger than our last meeting.” Xelor immediately noticed the change in Zack’s power level.

Zack wasn’t surprised by this but instead of replying, he summoned Chastiefol in his hand.

Lance realized that Zack was about to use the spear last form to try and convert Xelor to what he was before and they would gain a formidable ally.

The Phoenix had even started forming plans for the future and wondering how the others would feel to see Xelor but he had been a little quick on doing that

“Yes I am back and I am here to relieve you of this task.” Zack replied as he opened his mouth while lifting Chastiefol. “True Spirit Spear Chastiefol, Fourth Form-

[ Wait, that’s not the correct chanting! ]

Medusa’s Wrath!” Zack shouted as the golden spear suddenly turned brown followed by all the shiny symbols vanishing of it.

The next second, ancient looking art appeared on the new spear and all of them depicted snakes as Zack tightly grabbed the spear and threw it at Xelor.

The latter smiled as the spear stopped right in front of his eyes. His legs suddenly started turning to stone alongside his hands before slowly spreading towards the rest of his body.

“I guess in the end I wasn’t able to stop you from becoming that. I hope you don’t go too out of control Zack.” Xelor said with a smile as he suddenly closed the portals and threw all of his energy towards Zack.

And with a smile on his face, Xelor’s body turned to stone.
