Eva pressed her lips on top of Zack’s as she pressed her entire self onto him. She felt the memories of their past life slowly roaming inside their heads as Eva called on those memories to help herself get through to Zack.

The latter’s body went completely still as his misty eyes slowly started returning to normal.

Zack felt the memories that Eva had called burning inside his mind as he was reminded of the past. With those thoughts in mind, he slowly regained control of his body.

Lance too was able to break the chains around it one by one due to Zack breaking free from Uriel’s control. In less than a minute, both of them had freed themselves from the angel’s control as Zack was finally able to see Eva’s face in front of his.

He didn’t react at first as their eyes met. Eva suddenly pushed back with a smile on her face as Zack felt a vanilla like scent enter his nose.

He had no idea why women wanted to smell like desserts but the smell was intoxicating so he didn’t mind it. If not for the fact that a god and an angel were battling a few meters away, Zack was sure that he would have just stayed in Eva’s embrace for some more time.

[ You guys can talk and do whatever you want later on. For now, come and help me beat this angel. ] The man suddenly called out on the duo as Zack gave Eva a look.

“How did you even bring Hephaestus down here?” He asked curiously before he closing his eyes and focusing.

Two wings suddenly unfolded behind him but they were different then his usual blue wings. His current wings were obsidian black in color and were much bigger when compared with his blue ones.

Chastiefol (Myth):The legendary spear made from the power of the world tree. It was said that only the fairy king could wield this spear but there is another spear similar to Chastiefol that resides in the fairy king’s forest. Can transform into eight different forms:

Second Form: Daggers of sky

Third Form: Solar Beam

A smile appeared on Zack’s face when he saw the special ability of the spear. Using it, he could summon his wings regardless of whether he was combined with Lance or not.

[ But what if you try to summon our combined form wings now? ] Lance suddenly asked as Zack wasn’t able to contain his curiosity and followed what the Phoenix had said.

Suddenly, Zack felt another pair of wings unfold below the first pair as he looked back to see the blue wings being unfolded right below the black ones.

He looked at them for a few seconds before folding them since a single pair of wings was enough for him.

Zack then summoned Chastiefol in his right hand and Eirias in his other. He knew that Uriel was a being of neutrality despite what people thought and his sword would work on him.

Eva on the other hand did something similar as two silver wings opened right behind her. She had brought Gajeel along to as well as Hephaestus and the two of them had been combined with her body.

‘Well, more like using my body as a vessel rather than being combined with me.’ Eva thought while sighing as in the end, a god had used her body as a vessel.

Though most humans would die to get such an opportunity, Eva would have never done it if not for the fact that Zack’s life was on the line. She was glad that she had made the decision especially when she saw how powerful Uriel was.

But now, her only goal was to help Hephaestus in defeating the angel and getting one god of their ass.

[ I was able to get him here due to the fact that Uriel had appeared here as well. It tipped the balance and I was able to summon a god and Hephaestus is the best one who is still alive. ] Eva said as she summoned two swords made from metal and spread her wings.

[ You did the right thing by summoning him. ] Zack replied as the two of them suddenly dashed into battle with their weapons raging around their bodies.

Even though Uriel and Hephaestus were in a rank of their own, Zack and Eva knew that they could put up a good competition.

Zack swung right beside Hephaestus as the god was fighting Uriel head on. Zack attacked the angel from the sideline as his blue flames raged down Eirias’s blade and made the sword glow brightly.

Chastiefol on the other hand was able to deal massive damage by shifting between forms. Zack was tempted to use some of his new forms as well as the true forms but he decided to keep them hidden and use them as trump cards for the future.

He kept himself restricted to the first three forms while using Eirias’s special attacks one after the other. Blue fireballs were raging around the battlefield alongside Hephaestus’s fire attacks which cornered Uriel.

The angel was having a hard time fighting both the attacks especially when Zack’s flames could actually hurt him despite the difference in their power.

The reason? The game never had a rank as high as Uriel’s to begin with and Zack had very well climbed over the limit too.

There were no restrictions placed on him but due to Uriel’s high level, the angel could reduce the amount of damage he was taking. However that didn’t affect  Zack one bit as he continued to attack the angel with his never ending mana.

‘Speaking of that, I never got to know how I managed to get infinite mana.’ Zack thought while fighting as  Eva decided to make her move as well.

She flew in from the back and threw her swords forward. Uriel was able to sense them the moment they left Eva’s hands as he prepared himself to block them but contrary to what he imagined, the swords suddenly expanded into multiple small daggers.

They were directly being controlled by Eva as she stood at a distance with a smile and continued to control the daggers.

Uriel gritted his teeth as he realized that he couldn’t defeat three beings at once without getting himself  killed. That was unless he used his true angel powers.

‘Ugh, who could have thought that I would be forced to use them here. Brother better not say anything to me since I ma here because of his failure.’ Uriel thought as his wings suddenly stood tall.

His wings started glowing with newfound energy as Uriel body was suddenly covered with a white armor. His sword was suddenly lit with white symbols as it swung it towards the nearest danger, the daggers.

The slash of the sword made a white slash of light launched from the edges of the blade as Uriel suddenly vanished from his spot and directly appeared in front of Hephaestus.

The god was surprised by Uriel’s sudden appearance but he was easily able to counter him by using a six feet tall hammer.

Neither Zack nor Eva had any idea how Hephaestus was able to use such a hammer easily as they saw the hammer clash with Uriel’s sword.

A banging  sound echoed around the entire domain as the mist and the sunny grass area combined into one.

They were now standing on a simple plain with little to no greenery around them. This meant that neither Uriel nor the others could use the mist as a cover to do a sneak attack.

‘It is better this way. This angel’s new form isn’t fun to fight especially in a mist covered place.’ Zack thought as Chastiefol burst into daggers.

But this time, Zack decided to try something new as he used his flames to cover every single one of the daggers. The daggers flew forward while burning as Zack followed them from behind.

Uriel swung his sword in their direction however Hephaestus blocked him while using his hammer. The two weapons seemed to be of equal caliber and Hephaestus had released his powers too.

[0)ᴠᴇʟ An orange flame armor had appeared on top of his body as he used the flames to stop Uriel from moving or dodging the daggers.

Eva on the other hand had also released some of her vibranium stock and used it to create nine lances. She had shot them towards Uriel as Lance decided to help her a bit.

[ Zack, I am leaving your body. Good luck fighting Uriel on your own for a few minutes. ] Lance suddenly said as he shot out from the back of Zack’s body and flew in Eva’s direction.

Uriel saw it happen from the corner of his eyes  but there was nothing that he could do as he was busy fighting Hephaestus and the daggers.

Zack was also moving around with his lighting fast speed and attacking him with all of his might. He managed to cover quite a large amount of the gap sheerly due to his weapons and lightning movement skills.

Zack believed that if not for them, he would have died long ago.

‘Eva, allow me to merge with you. Ask Gajeel to leave me some space as well.’ Lance suddenly said to Eva as he passed  right through her body

Eva allowed him to merge with her without any hesitation as a grin appeared on Lance’s face before he vanished.
