Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

150 Wake Up To Reality

Dead silence.

Coldness.

And mental peace.

These were the three things that Zack felt while floating around wherever he was. He wanted this feeling to last forever and lose himself in it.

After all, it was not daily one experienced such a calm feeling.

“Wake up to reality kid or I will have to spank you.”

Zack’s eyes immediately flew open when that sentence passed through his ears. He a clear blue sky above him before sitting up.

[0)ᴠᴇʟ He recognized the place instantly before turning back to see Kai standing behind him with a smile on his face.

“Yeh, this is the place which you called ‘heaven’.” The god of timelines then sat down while looking at Zack.

“You somehow manage to get in a troublesome situation every time. Thankfully, your mana will not be locked.” Kai paused seeing the look of confusion on Zack’s face. “Since you went in the future, your ‘self reverse timeline’ is unlock again. Since there is no save spot yet, you will just go back to the moment before using the future passing skill.”

After hearing Kai’s explanation, Zack immediately opened Gugnir’s details to see that it  was indeed true. He then used the skill and as expected, went back to his old self before moving in the future.

“Now, let’s talk about what you have done and how its going to effect you,” Kai’s voice suddenly turned serious. “You and the people around you at the time of using the skill jumped from your current point to a point in the future.”

“In easier terms, imagine you were running. Meeting Lucifer was the starting point and your birthday was the end point. Normally, you would have to run the entire race to reach the finish line.

However, you used the skill and took yourself and those with you directly to the finish line. By doing that, you missed the entire race aka the six months. You will directly appear six months in the future and in those six months, everyone would think you vanished.”

After Kai’s explanation, Zack realized that those in the real world would consider him dead including Mia and Eva.

This made him want to curse loud yet refrained from doing so since it was the lance’s powers that prevented him from dying a second time.

“Then that means I will probably look like a ghost to them if I suddenly appear.” He sighed seeing Kai nod.

“Before I send your consciousness back, remember that you are now under the gaze of heaven and the gods. Even I can’t shield you anymore so if anything weird happens, you know who to blame.”

“I will blame you.” Zack replied with a sunshine smile as Kai rolled his eyes.

“Your world will start noticing changes too. Mana is no child’s play and once the entire calamity descends, only a few humans can save the entire planet.” Kai said before moving his hands over Zack’s face.

The teenager’s eyes rolled back in his sockets as his body vanished from ‘heaven’. Kai released a sigh as he was once again left alone in his prison.

The real reason he hadn’t been able to go and teach Lucifer a lesson himself was due to his prison. It was due to the place that he didn’t leave its boundaries and called Zack to talk to him there.

Every time Kai would step out or use a portion of his true powers, the place will leech double the energy of both of them and give it to the gods.

This in turn will make them even stronger however, he had caught on to that the first time he had appeared in the place so their plans had failed.

The only thing Kai could do was use Gugnir as a median and remember the moment he had been prisoned.

All cause he had supported his family and the humans against the gods.

‘I will never regret that decision. Zack, you are the only one who can free me alongside that man in the tower. If both of you meet and befriend each other, things will work out.’

‘I wonder if this is how people feel after they feel the withdrawal from the cheapest alcohol.’ Zack thought as he woke up lying on his bed in Eva’s mansion.

His head was hurting crazily as he stood up from the bed and felt something under his hand.

“Ahh!”

A shout followed his landing as Emma pulled her hand and thus making Zack lose his balance. He fell face forward but something weird happened as he started to slow down.

[ The skill ‘Instinctive Mastery(Max level) has been used ]

Zack tilted his head in confusion as he easily managed to stand back after falling halfway. To him, everything had happened in slow motion while Emma had seen it happen at normal speed.

‘But what is this skill…’ Zack thought before opening the skill’s description.

[ Instinctive Mastery(Passive)(Maxed): Time will slow down in your eyes when you are about to fall, are about to be hit from behind, are pushed, have something thrown towards you, and are fighting hand-to-hand. ]

Zack’s eyes widened when he read the descriptions of the skill. It was so overpowered that he pinched his cheeks to make sure that he wasn’t dreaming.

But then, Emma’s yelp had been enough for him to know that it wasn’t dream.

Zack then opened his skill panel to see five new skills that he had never seen before.

[ Lightning bolt (100 mana): summons a bolt of lightning.

Cooldown: None ]

[ Lightning movement(100,000 mana): Move at the speed of lightning for ten hours.

Cooldown: None ]

After reading the details of the two skills, Zack noticed that the first two skills he had learned had vanished.

As if in a daze, he sat down and read the names of the last three skills.

[ Hydro Pump(1000 mana): Can throw one kiloliter of water from the mouth

Cooldown: None ]

[ Bat’s Hearing(Passive, can be switched off) (Status: OFF) (Maxed): Can hear any sort of sound a bat can. ]

[ Blue Storm(40,000 mana): Can cause huge storms all around the place.

Cooldown: None ]

Following this, some of Zack’s old skills had been replaced too.

‘Kai?!’ He called out inside his mind but got no response. Either Kai was stunned like him or had nothing to say.

‘If I am that strong, how much mana and health points do I have…’
