“Time reversed?!” Zack’s jaw dropped as a moment later, he was back on the roof with Emma.
He quickly masked his expression so that Emma couldn’t see his shocked demeanor. After looking at the time, Zack realized that it was indeed the same time at which he and Emma had been sitting inside the guild.
‘What the fk… I just went back in time.’ Zack tried to think calmly yet the incident had shocked him.
Moments ago, he had been seeing a nuke falling towards himself, and now he was back in the past.
“Emma, we are leaving.”
Emma nodded she could detect the sense of urgency in Zack’s tone. It was her first time hearing Zack sound as though a bomb was about to drop on them.
A few moments later. both of them logged out of the game.
After waking up in real life, Zack immediately grabbed Emma’s hand before he dashed towards Mia’s room. He knocked on her door before waiting for a few seconds.
Mia opened the door a few seconds later to see Emma and Zack standing outside.
“You need something?” Mia was still awake and had been studying calmly. But when she saw the look on Zack’s face, she realized that something was wrong.
“Eva just messaged me saying that a bomb is about to be dropped on our place very soon. We need to exist in this place before that happens.” As soon as Zack spoke the words bomb, the two females exchanged a glance.
They knew that the production of nukes had stopped officially but if it was still going on illegally, there was a chance that they might get bombed upon.
“If there is a slight possibility of that, we are leaving right now,” Mia replied as Zack nodded and asked the duo to follow him.
‘I wonder if they are willing to bomb the entire place.’ While hurrying towards Eva’s house, Zack sent a message warning her about the nukes.

“What the fk… How can he possibly know that.” Eva’s jaw was slightly open when she read Zack’s message.
According to him, bombs were about to be dropped on her office as well as their house.

She knew the two CEOs of Oracroft well enough to believe that they could make such a move. Currently, they were the ones at the top and earning the most amount of money.
‘Should I talk to them about it or drop a nuke myself to see their reaction.’ While Eva was planning her next move, she got Zack’s next message that froze her on her spot.
She immediately used the phone watch to call Charlotte and told her to bring the trio to the Doogle headquarters.
She also asked the special scientists to enable to shield her.
‘Zack, you better have an explanation for how you know all this.’

Fifteen minutes later…
Zack, Emma, and Mia were currently sitting in front of Emma with anxiety clearly visible on their faces.
Eva reflected their expressions yet her gaze was fixated on Zack.
‘Now I have to think of a story to tell her.’ Zack sighed as he tried to figure out what was the perfect story that he could tell Eva.
An idea suddenly struck his mind as he decided that instead of telling a far-fetched lie, he could just tell the truth to Evangeline and see her reaction.
Maybe she would get the hint that he didn’t want to talk about it and leave the topic alone. However, Zack feared that Eva might believe his words.
‘Well, only a few minutes are left.’
[0)ᴠᴇʟ Soon enough, Eva opened the news to hear that the gaming pods launched by Oracroft had been tampered with.
Moments later, she got the notification that two nukes were about to be dropped on both her building as well as Zack’s mansion.
Ray’s call also arrived a few seconds later like Zack had said it would.
After consulting with him, Evangeline turned to look at Zack with a serious look. The latter could feel Evangeline’s curiosity growing by the second has the nuke soon reached near the building.

As soon as the nuke got in range of the blue layer, it exploded. However, the particles of the blue layer suddenly expanded around the nuke and started covering the explosion.
Soon enough, the entire explosion was surrounded the blue light particles as they absorbed it before shrinking down to the size of an ant.
This was the future of technology that Evangeline has envisioned, not creating even more lethal bombs. She and the scientists were very proud that they managed to make use of nanotechnology to be able to shrink the explosion.
Not the ant-like blue piece contained enough power to destroy a city. Sadly, they couldn’t install the disc in Eva’s home.
“Damn, that’s some explosion…” Emma muttered in awe as she, Zack, Mia, and Eva saw the explosion taking place in front of them.
The bomb that had been dropped on the mansion had destroyed only the mansion. The bomb was specifically designed for this task and had been developed by Orange’s CEO in secret.
It would only destroy a specified area and the two CEOs had wanted to kill Zack and Emma thus giving Doogle a huge blow.
Little did they know that their plan had failed.
Eva then closed the hologram before looking at Zack with a humorless smile. He realized that it was time for him to reveal the truth to him.
“Emma and Mia, can you please wait outside for a few minutes. I need to ‘discuss’ a few things with Zack.”
