Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Dae Hyun just parked his car in Jean's courtyard. The man deliberately followed his wife without telling her to give her a surprise.

The house seemed like dessert. The sound of people talking couldn't be heard. If Soo Yin was really inside, there should be a conversation. Or maybe Soo Yin hadn't come. However, it was impossible because Chang Yuan told him that his wife had left since half an hour ago.

 Dae Hyun ventured himself to knock on the door.

Today, Jean's body felt so much better. Although she was still weak, at least her head didn't feel dizzy anymore. She then placed the pregnancy book she read on the bed when she heard a knock on the door several times.

"Who is coming at night like this?" Jean muttered while placing her feet to the floor. Then went out to open the door.

Before Jean opened the door, she peeked to see who was there. She wanted to make sure that it wasn't one of Choi Minho's men. After seeing who was standing ther, Jean hastily opened the door.

"Mr. Dae Hyun, please come in," said Jean politely. She was surprised of the arrival of her boss who came alone without his wife.

A lot of questions popped up on Jean's mind. There was one thing that make her happy, perhaps his arrival was to cook for her. It made Jean smiled happily.

Without suspecting that Soo Yin wasn't there, Dae Hyun sat down on the sofa.

"How are you? Are you feeling better?" Dae Hyun asked.

"Yes, Sir," Jean replied.

"Where is Soo Yin? Why is it so quiet?" asked Dae Hyun with furrowed brow. He felt bad to talk to Jean alone.

"Soo Yin?" Jean's brow linked.

"Yes, isn't Soo Yin here?" asked Dae Hyun because Jean's face seemed confused.

"She isn't here, Sir," Jean replied. She thought Dae Hyun's arrival was to cook for her but it turned out that he was looking for his wife.

"Really? Chang Yuan said Soo Yin comes here," Dae Hyun said.

"It's true, Sir."

Jean touched her head that suddenly felt dizzy when she smelled Dae Hyun's perfume. She immediately ran while covering her mouth with her palm to the kitchen.

"What is wrong with her?" Dae Hyun muttered.

Dae Hyun followed Jean but he was still standing at the kitchen door to make a distance. Because he didn't want Soo Yin to suddenly come and there would be a misunderstanding.

"Sir, can you get out of here?" Jean said.

"I mean, you'd better come back and sit in the living room," continued Jean while washing her mouth with running water.

"Why?" Dae Hyun felt that something was off about Jean. What Soo Yin said was true, Jean threw up like a pregnant woman.

"I don't like the smell of your perfume," said Jean honestly.

"Alright." Dae Hyun immediately went back to the living room then leaned his head on the sofa. He wanted to immediately leave but it felt impolite.

Not long after, Jean had came oit while covering her nose with a cloth because the perfume that Dae Hyun wore was too strong.

"I'm sorry, Sir. I made you feel uncomfortable because my sense of smell seems really bad now," said Jean while chuckling so Dae Hyun won't be suspicious of her.

"If you're still sick you'd better go to see doctor. Don't let it be too long," Dae Hyun suggested. There was a desire to ask directly but afraid that Jean would be offended. Maybe later he will ask Chang Yuan or Soo Yin.

"Thank you for your concern, Sir," replied Jean, still in a standing position.

Dae Hyun looked at the watch on his wrist. It had been fifteen minutes but Soo Yin still hadn't come yet. He was increasingly worried about his little wife.

"Maybe Soo Yin isn't coming here. I'd better excuse myself to find Soo Yin first." Dae Hyun immediately stood up. He also felt uncomfortable being alone with Jean in the house.

 Jean just nodded her head. She wanted to say what she wanted but she felt bad.

 Without further ado, Dae Hyun immediately left Jean's house.

"Wait, sir!" called Jean but Dae Hyun was already in his car. The man immediately drove the car at high speed.

 "Soo Yin, where exactly are you right now?" said Jean, taking a deep breath.

During the trip, Dae Hyun was restless because Soo Yin can't be reached. Then Dae Hyun tried to trace her whereabouts one last time.

 "Inn? What is she there for?" Dae Hyun muttered with his heart pounding wildly. But he tried to think positively about his wife. There was no way that Soo Yin would do anything like that.

Pyeongchang-dong Villa.

Finally Soo Yin arrived at the villa not too late. She saw an empty car garage. Indicated that her husband was not home yet.

 If her attempts to subtly meet with Park Soo Hyun were in vain within a few days then she would be forced to tell everything directly to Dae Hyun.

Soo Yin reached out her phone to ask about Dae Hyun's whereabouts this time.

"Oh God, I forgot to turn on my phone again," Soo Yin muttered.

As soon as the phone was turned on, there was an incoming call from Dae Hyun. Without thinking Soo Yin then answered it.

 "Soo Yin, where are you now?" Dae Hyun's voice sounded very worried.

 "I… I'm already home," Soo Yin stuttered.

"Are you really at home right now?" Dae Hyun asked doubtfully.

 "Of course, where should I? I just arrived," said Soo Yin with a chuckle.

 "Are you still working?" Soo Yin added.

 "No, I'm already on my way. Don't go anywhere, I'll be home soon," said Dae Hyun.

 "Of course. I'm not going anywhere," said Soo Yin.

Soo Yin immediately hung up the phone with a confused look on her face. A minute later her phone rang again. This time it was Jean who called.

 There was a fear that something might happen so Soo Yin immediately answered.

 "What's the matter, Jean? Did something happen to you?"

 "No I'm fine. Where exactly are you? Dae Hyun was here looking for you," said Jean.

"Is that true?" Soo Yin immediately rounded her eyes.

 "Do you think I'm lying," said Jean.

 "Then what did you tell him?" asked Soo Yin nervously.

 "Of course I answered if you aren't here. Where have you been to not tell him?"

"Actually I wanted to go to your house but unfortunately the taxi I was riding had a tire burst. I chose to turn around because it was late," said Soo Yin.

 "I thought you went somewhere."

 Soo Yin kept asking Jean what Dae Hyun was doing there before ending the conversation.

 "Ughhh, I hope he doesn't suspect anything," Soo Yin muttered.. Then she stepped inside to calm herself down before meeting Dae Hyun.
