Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Jean decided to visit the hospital because she was very curious about what really happened to her body. Previously her condition was fine before that night. She was worried about having a serious illness like her mother.

 Jean flinched at the memory of the bad night with Park Soo Hyun. While waiting for the results of the examination from the doctor, Jean opened her cellphone and then browsed to explore more deeply.

With trembling hands, Jean typed 'signs of pregnancy' on a website in the search field. Jean began to read point by point written there. There were a number of points that she did experience, such as morning sickness, a stomach that felt nauseous every time she smelled the aroma of foodstuffs and her period was late.

 Jean thought back to the last time she had her period. It was still about two days late from the usual date. It shouldn't be a problem because being a few days late was normal.

 "There's no way I'm pregnant." Jean pressed those words in her mind as she took a deep breath. There was no way she was pregnant with only one night stand.

If she looked at Soo Yin, until now she was not even pregnant anymore. Even though it seemed that they have had countless sex.

 "Jean, why are you even thinking about them?" Jean mumbled while shuddering at how she was now thinking dirty.

 A female doctor named Shin Min-a came out of the examination room in her room. Her face lit up with a friendly smile etched on her lips.

 Instantly Jean's heart was beating very fast with sweat starting to flow down her forehead. Hoping what she feared didn't happen.

 "Jean, congratulations you are pregnant. You are now almost three weeks pregnant," said Doctor Shin Min-a as she reached out to shake Jean's hand.

Without realising, Jean returned the doctor's hand. Her body felt weak with her heart pounding wildly and her mind didn't seem to be working properly. There was no way she could be pregnant even though she was just two days late for her period.

 Jean shook her head, feeling both happy and sad because of the news. She was happy because she was pregnant with the child of the man she loved so much. But when remembering Park Soo Hyun who will never admit it. It made Jean's heart feel sore and very sad.

 "Miss, why do you look displeased?" said doctor Shin Min-a because she saw Jean who was actually daydreaming.

 "I just couldn't believe that I am pregnant," Jean stuttered after waking up from her daydream. Tried a forced smile.

"How old are you if I may ask?"

 "I'm 19 years old," said Jean, feeling unsteady.

 "Well, it turns out that you are still very young. But it doesn't matter at all because your pregnancy is very healthy and fine. I hope that after taking the medicine and vitamins that I gave you, you can eat as voraciously as usual again," the doctor suggested.

 "Thank you, Doctor," said Jean.

 After getting an explanation and more information about the pregnancy, Jean immediately left the hospital with limp steps. She didn't know what to do now.

Everyone had gathered in the dining room for breakfast. The condition of the hotel now seemed precarious. Even now Hae Sok came to Seoul because she was worried and anxious that what her husband had built for a long time will just fall apart.

 Hae Sok also knew what happened to Dae Hyun. She could understand because she had known since the beginning of their relationship.

 "Can't you guys persuade Dae Hyun to go back to work at the hotel?" Hae Sok said anxiously.

 "No, Mom. He's too stubborn so it's hard to persuade if he doesn't want to," said Park Ji Hoon with a heavy sigh. He couldn't always be at the hotel because he had to take care of another hotel branch outside the city.

"Grandma, I know why he doesn't care about his extended family anymore," said Aeri who gave a voice.

 Hae Sok looked at Aeri while frowning. Guess what will be said next.

 "Why?" said Hae Sok.

 "It must be because of that woman's incitement. She must have forbade Dae Hyun to return to work at the hotel," said Aeri, who indirectly told Hae Sok that Soo Yin was not a good woman.

 "But now there's no need to worry because Dae Hyun already knows that the girl is just a flirt," Aeri continued with a happy face. She was just waiting for the day that Dae Hyun will return to her arms.

"Isn't that all your fault too?" quipped Hae Sok with a flat expression. She was not someone who was easily provoked by words that were not necessarily true.

 Hae Sok knew her eldest grandson very well as they have lived together for some time. Dae Hyun wasn't the type of guy to be easily stirred up. He must have had a reason why he didn't want to go back to the hotel.

 Hae Sok also doubted what Aeri said about Soo Yin who turned out to be having an affair behind Dae Hyun's back. Her hunch said that it was Aeri who was being tricked. If it was true that Dae Hyun had separated from Soo Yin, he should have returned to the house.

 Aeri immediately covered her mouth because she didn't want Hae Sok to stop her from moving any further. The old woman must still remember the incident where she wanted to harm Soo Yin but it turned out to be the wrong target. It was Dae Hyun who almost got hurt. That was why it was so hard to persuade Hae Sok to be on her side.

"Be patient, mom. We'll try even harder to persuade him. Maybe Dae Hyun is currently calming down," said Mrs. Park to appease her mother-in-law. Although she wasn't sure if it worked or not.

 "Hmmm, I hope Dae Hyun returns soon," said Hae Sok.
