Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 495 - 494 - It's Not As Bad As Imagined

Even though Soo Yin was afraid, she still pressed her body against Dae Hyun's side. Even when Dae Hyun was about to leave, Soo Yin didn't let him.

It wasn't long before there was a loud knock on the door.

"Who?" Dae Hyun exclaimed without moving.

"I brought medicine for Miss Soo Yin, sir," said a servant's voice from outside.

 "Come in," said Dae Hyun.

A maid came in with a small pouch in her hand and handed it to Dae Hyun with her head down. Didn't dare to look at Soo Yin who was still leaning her head on Dae Hyun's shoulder.

Whereas earlier Aeri had ordered her to see what they were doing.

"You can go," said Dae Hyun.

The servant immediately turned around and left the room.

"Do you want to take a shower first since it's now afternoon?" Dae Hyun said while looking at the window. He can't believe the sun had almost set. Leaving only a tinge of orange in the Seoul sky.

"Actually I feel a little hot," said Soo Yin.

"If you don't want to take a shower, it's okay, but you should change your clothes. I'll take it from the car," said Dae Hyun.

"Are we going to stay?" Soo Yin bit her lower lip, feeling hesitant if she had to stay at that house. Because she knew that no one would accept her.

"I don't know yet. We'll see how Yeon Ho is. If he wants to be left behind then we will go home. I don't want to leave him suddenly without asking first," said Dae Hyun. Felt a bit traumatized seeing how Jo Yeon Ho almost got hurt.

"No problem, I can understand," said Soo Yin.

Dae Hyun rushed out after helping Soo Yin rest her head on the edge of the bed. He will take the clothes that Do Jin gave for free to Soo Yin.

Soo Yin felt her body was hot, so she decided to go to the bathroom. Her legs were fine, it was just that her back was overreacting.

Dae Hyun helped to apply the bruise medicine on Soo Yin's back slowly and carefully. Afraid that Soo Yin would feel pain even though what he saw was not as painful as Soo Yin felt.

Soo Yin sat on her knees with her knees bent. Sitting right in front of her husband only wrapped in a thick blanket after cleaning herself.

"Honey, does it hurt?" said Dae Hyun who was worried until he rubbed it so gently.

"No need to touch it too gently. It doesn't hurt at all," said Soo Yin. She didn't want her husband to be too much.

Soo Yin's skin was as white as snow, making the bruises visible on the surface of her skin very clearly. Dae Hyun was horrified to think of how much it hurt.

"It's not as bad as imagined," Soo Yin continued once again.

Check…

There was the sound of the door opening from outside because it wasn't locked, so Dae Hyun and Soo Yin suddenly turned to see who was coming.

Dae Hyun hastily covered Soo Yin's body with the blanket again when he saw Yeon Ho standing in the doorway.

"Yeon Ho, come in," Soo Yin said as she shifted her body more to the edge of the bed.

Yeon Ho finally entered the room with a flat face and knitted eyebrows. He could briefly see when Dae Hyun applied the medicine on Soo Yin's back.

Still in silence, Yeon Ho drew closer to the bed. Then his hand reached out to grab the bruise medicine that Dae Hyun was holding.

"Does it still hurt?" Yeon Ho blinked his eyes. There was a little guilt in Yeon Ho's heart because what he did hurt Soo Yin.

"It's not true, I'm not that weak to feel a little pain," Soo Yin said while chuckling to warm up the atmosphere.

"Can I treat it?" Yeon Ho said hopefully.

Soo Yin smiled then nodded her head. Her eyes were teary, her heart was touched by what Yeon Ho did for her.

Dae Hyun helped his son to get on the bed and sat him behind Soo Yin. Then pulled the blanket slightly so that Soo Yin's upper back could be seen, showing some bruises that were still blue.

"I'm sorry, because I was naughty, you almost got hurt," said Yeon Ho in a sad voice. His hand gently touched Soo Yin's back.

"It's okay. The important thing is that you're okay now," said Soo Yin.

"Do you still hate me?" Soo Yin added cautiously, afraid of making Jo Yeon Ho angry again like when they met at the hotel a few days ago.

"I don't hate Eunnie. I just did what my mother said," Yeon Ho said honestly and too innocently. Children his age were not good at lying too far so he will say what he experienced and heard with honest answers.

Soo Yin had guessed that it must be because Aeri had instigated him. There was no way Jo Yeon Ho would act like that.

"I'm sorry for being rude that time. I was just afraid of losing my father," Yeon Ho said with his head down remembering how he got angry when he met Soo Yin. Currently afraid that the two people who were nearby would be angry.

"What your mother said is not true. I will not leave you." Dae Hyun lifted Yeon Ho's body into his lap and hugged him tightly.

"Mom said that if I got close to Eunnie, I would lose father forever. Mom also didn't allow me to talk to Eunnie. Is that true, Father?" Yeon Ho said while tilting his body slightly to look at his father's face.

"In fact, if you hate Eunnie then you will lose your father. From now on can you call Eunnie as mother?" Dae Hyun said, wanting to teach little by little so that Jo Yeon Ho understood.

"Mother? Why should I call her mother? Eunnie said she didn't like it when I used to call her aunty?" Yeon Ho said with a frown.
