Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 448 - 448 - It Was Too Late

"No problem. Then I'll excuse myself, if you need help you can contact me," said Soo Yin.

"Of course, although I'm not sure if Dae Hyun will allow it. If there is him I don't seem to have the opportunity to ask for your help," said Park Soo Hyun with a chuckle.

Soo Yin only smiled bitterly in response to Park Soo Hyun's statement which was indeed true.

"I'm sorry," said Soo Yin who resigned because she didn't want Park Soo Hyun to keep her from moving with more guesses that came out of his lips.

With quick steps, Soo Yin immediately stepped into Dae Hyun's room.

Just as she was about to open the door, Soo Yin heard the sounds of a child and adult joking and laughing so loudly. Soo Yin recognized that the voice was Jo Yeon Ho's voice. The boy's voice sounded very cheerful this time.

Soo Yin then let go of the doorknob as she remembered that a few days ago Yeon Ho was very scared when he saw her. She was afraid that Jo Yeon Ho still hated her.

It seemed that they had made up so that Soo Yin refused to enter. Afraid that her arrival would disturb the warm atmosphere.

Soo Yin decided to turn around to get away from Dae Hyun's room.

Then took the elevator to go downstairs. She wanted to get some fresh air after being too tense when she was dealing with Park Soo Hyun.

Soo Yin walked toward the park in the back area of the hotel. Usually she would linger there just to calm her mind. She looked around to find an empty seat.

After finding it, she sat her buttocks on a long chair under a tree. The atmosphere was very cool and can calm her mind. Plus the breeze in the hot weather which was perfect.

There were several children playing with their parents who were not far from Soo Yin's sight. They seemed to be tourists staying at the hotel. They were seen joking with each other and laughing together. The joy of the child radiated from the face when the father hugged him.

Soo Yin only imagined that they were Dae Hyun, Jo Yeon Ho, and Aeri. Her heart now seemed to waver even though she was taking another step. Park Soo Hyun's words replayed in her mind.

'There are children who still need the integrity of both parents.'

Soo Yin let out a long sigh with complicated thoughts. It was impossible to give up because she had gone too far. Meanwhile, she also knew that Aeri was not a good mother for Yeon Ho. The woman only changed after Dae Hyun intended to divorce her.

Soo Yin lowered her head and then covered her face with her palms. Didn't realize that there was someone sitting next to her.

"Soo Yin, what are you doing here? Do you miss your father? Because you look really messed up today," Jae-hwa guessed as he stretched his arm behind Soo Yin's back.

Soo Yin opened her palms then adjusted her body to sit in an upright position.

"Jae-hwa? Of course, because I haven't seen him for a long time," Soo Yin said quickly.

"Then what are you here for? Shouldn't you be working?" Soo Yin added with a frown.

"I just want to rest for a bit," Jae-hwa said.

"Where exactly were you yesterday? Why didn't you go to college?" continued Jae-hwa.

"I… I'm not going anywhere. Mr. Park Soo Hyun gave me a lot of work so I didn't feel comfortable if I have to leave him," Soo Yin said while racking her brain to find the right reason.

"Is that true?" Jae-hwa doubted Soo Yin's words this time.

Soo Yin nodded her head with a faint smile.

"Yesterday Mr. Park Soo Hyun came to campus to meet me. He was looking for you but you weren't on campus until the class ended," said Jae-hwa.

Soo Yin's mouth fell open to hear that Park Soo Hyun had come to campus to look for her. No wonder today his attitude was very different. Maybe he felt that he had been tricked by her.

"Jae-hwa, I'd better go back inside to work. Next time we'll talk." Soo Yin immediately got up and walked towards the building.

Soo Yin was in a hurry to go back into the building because she wanted to meet Park Soo Hyun and explain everything so that misunderstandings wouldn't continue.

'No wonder he was so cold and indifferent,' Soo Yin thought as she patted her forehead.

It just so happened that when Soo Yin was about to get out of the elevator, she passed Park Soo Hyun who was right in front of her, waiting for the elevator to stop.

Their gazes accidentally met for a moment but Park Soo Hyun immediately looked away. Pretended not to notice Soo Yin's presence there.

"Soo Hyun, about yesterday ... I didn't mean to lie to you." Soo Yin finally spoke up before Park Soo Hyun stepped into the elevator.

"That's up to you, after all it has nothing to do with me anymore. You want to be alone with your boyfriend or someone's husband, it doesn't matter," said Park Soo Hyun indifferently and shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm really sorry. At first I was going to go to college but he contacted me to accompany him," said Soo Yin then bowed her body.

"You don't have to feel guilty because it's none of my business anymore," Park Soo Hyun said with a snort.

"Jae-hwa said yesterday you were looking for me on campus. You shouldn't have bothered like that," said Soo Yin.

"Don't be too confident because I just happened to drop by." Park Soo Hyun immediately stepped into the elevator because it was about to close again for the second time.

Soo Yin sighed heavily. Honestly, she didn't want their relationship to be strained because after all, they will become a big family.

It turned out that creating one lie will result in another long lie. But it was too late.
