Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 432 - 432 - Why Are You With Soo Yin?

"Soo Yin, do you know him?" Park Soo Hyun knitted his brows together. His heart fluttered knowing his idol girl knew another man.

"No, we just accidentally met this morning," said Soo Yin with a sweet smile.

Park Soo Hyun turned his face away so she won't see him smile. It made it even more difficult for him to forget.

"Oh, drunken girl," said Gong Yoo as he looked up at Soo Yin.

"What are you saying?" said Soo Yin who could hear Gong Yoo's words.

"Sorry, I got the wrong person. I thought you were the drunk girl I met at the bar," said Gong Yoo. Deliberately said it to provoke Soo Yin's memory.

"Of course you're wrong because we have never met before," said Soo Yin.

"Hmmm, we should continue the conversation later," said Park Soo Hyun coldly.

"Very… well, Master," Soo Yin stammered. It was unbelievable that Park Soo Hyun was now completely changed and looked like his brother.

Soo Yin sat quietly while listening to their conversation. She didn't really understand so she just kept quiet.

Gong Yoo occasionally looked at Soo Yin while talking about the hotel design plan to Park Soo Hyun.

Likewise with Park Soo Hyun who looked at Soo Yin.

Soo Yin yawned because her eyes wanted to be close even though it was still noon. So she opened a note and scribbled incoherently.

"We should have lunch first," said Park Soo Hyun. They were so focused that they didn't notice it was past lunch time.

"Why not earlier? I can't think when I'm hungry," said Gong Yoo nonchalantly in response.

Park Soo Hyun didn't respond because he was in a bad mood right now.

Not long after, the waiter finally came to bring a variety of dishes. Gong Yoo ordered western food because his tongue had to adapt first to Korean food.

They ate in silence. Only the sound of spoons were echoing.

"Cough… cough…." Soo Yin choked on something in her throat.

With a quick movement the two men in front of her thrust the glass at the same time.

Soo Yin looked at the two in turn. But soon she had her own drinking water which was on the table.

"Thank you, but I have it," said Soo Yin with a grin.

The two men looked disappointed at Soo Yin's refusal. Even if their faces were too obvious.

================

It was late at night but Park Soo Hyun wasn't done with his work yet. In fact, he was deliberately stalling so that his work would not be finished.

Soo Yin, who usually sat on the sofa when helping Dae Hyun, now chose to sit in her chair. She had to support her head with one hand to hold back the drowsiness. Several times, her head almost fell on the table.

"When will I be going home?" Soo Yin muttered as she looked at the clock on the wall which was almost half past eleven at night. If she worked with Dae Hyun, Soo Yin would have been told to go home or sleep in his room.

Soo Yin looked at Park Soo Hyun who was still busy with the files piled up on the table.

Park Soo Hyun could see Soo Yin's sad face from his desk. Actually the man felt sorry for her tired face. But this was one way for them to be together.

"Sorry, if my actions hurt you," said Park Soo Hyun with a bitter smile.

"If loving you openly scares you. Then maybe this is how I love you," added Park Soo Hyun, who had started to lose his mind after being rejected by Soo Yin.

Especially when he remembered that Soo Yin was talking to other men casually. It made Park Soo Hyun want to have it.

Park Soo Hyun then decided to leave the room to get two cups of coffee for himself and Soo Yin.

But it was a shame because as soon as he returned to the room, Soo Yin had already fallen asleep with her head on the table and her arm as a pillow. Her breathing was soft and regular.

"Soo Yin, wake up," Park Soo Hyun said softly. There was really a sense of regret with his attitude today which had been very outrageous.

"Hmmm." Soo Yin only moved her body slightly with her eyes still closed.

"Sorry, honey. I exhausted you." Park Soo Hyun gently stroked the top of Soo Yin's head.

There was still curiosity to know who the man who had spoken to Soo Yin was on the phone. Park Soo Hyun then took Soo Yin's cell phone which was lying on the table beside her head.

"Damn, the phone is locked!" Park Soo Hyun cursed in a low voice.

Even though it was locked, Park Soo Hyun could see the front screen even for a while. The photo that Soo Yin used as wallpaper had been changed. It was just a scene in Bunjee Artpia, Jeju Island.

 Derttt…

Park Soo Hyun almost jumped when he felt Soo Yin's cellphone vibrated in his hand.

There was Dae Hyun's name listed on the cell phone screen.

Park Soo Hyun knitted his brows together. Felt very curious of why his brother contacted Soo Yin at night like this.

Park Soo Hyun immediately pressed the answer button and put the phone to his ear silently. There was silence for a while because no one spoke first.

"Soo Yin, are you asleep?" Dae Hyun said on the other end of the phone because Soo Yin hadn't greeted him.

"She's asleep," said Park Soo Hyun who slipped. Though he intended to keep his mouth shut.

"Soo Hyun, why are you with Soo Yin?" Dae Hyun said with a rising tone.

"We worked overtime and she fell asleep," said Park Soo Hyun lightly.

"What's wrong with you? Didn't you scold me before for asking Soo Yin to work overtime? Why are you asking her now until she falls asleep?" Dae Hyun said in a disapproving tone.
