Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 351 - 351 - Jean's Arrival

A week had passed since the accident that happened to Park Soo Hyun. Although the condition of his organs had improved but until now he had not opened his eyes.

The position of hotel director was now back in Dae Hyun's hands at the request of the board of directors. Although his uncle wanted to replace him, but everyone did not agree.

Dae Hyun can't help but have to accept it even though he felt very reluctant. Because that position made it even more difficult for his relationship with Soo Yin.

In his long sleep, Park Soo Hyun did occasionally mention Soo Yin's name even though it only sounded faint.

Tonight as usual, Soo Yin just arrived at the hospital. Every time she went to the hospital she always brought a bouquet of flowers which she placed on the nightstand beside the bed where Park Soo Hyun lay.

"Soo Yin, you've come." Mrs. Park smiled warmly every time Soo Yin came. Welcomed her with open arms. Unlike Aeri who immediately put on a sour face when Soo Yin came.

"Now mother should go home. Let me take care of him," said Soo Yin.

"Thank you, dear. You are still loyal to accompany Park Soo Hyun," said Mrs Park, she was full of hope that Soo Yin was indeed a God-sent goddess of help to her family.

Soo Yin only smiled faintly. The good thing was, Li Sa just left. If not, it might be a mess.

"Alright, we go home first," said Mrs. Park then stepped out with Aeri.

Soo Yin preferred to accompany Park Soo Hyun alone or with Dae Hyun. It made her very uncomfortable. So she chose the time at night. If during the day there will be a lot of Mrs. Park's family who came to visit.

Tonight, Dae Hyun might be late because he was having a meeting at the hotel. Like the previous nights, Soo Yin always invited Park Soo Hyun to talk according to the doctor's directions.

Soo Yin was used to seeing him close his eyes. It was not like the beginning, which she was always sad and wanted to cry because of the guilt. Now Soo Yin no longer blamed herself because Dae Hyun always convinced her.

"How are you? Did you have a good day?" asked Soo Yin as she shifted the chair to take a seat. Even though Park Soo Hyun didn't answer but it didn't matter. The most important thing was to always give something positive.

"Get up, Jean will be here soon. You must be happy to meet her," said Soo Yin.

Jean was just being able to visit him because she had just returned from her mother's village.

"You should know, if Jean is someone who loves you very much. She's sorry for not having time to come," said Soo Yin while stroking Park Soo Hyun's hair so gently.

 Beep…

 A message came in.

[Soo Yin, I'm already in front of the room] Jean.

Soo Yin didn't reply to Jean's message.

"Wait a minute, Jean is here." Before stepping out, Soo Yin spoke a little to Park Soo Hyun.

"Hey Jean, come on in," said Soo Yin as she grabbed her wrist.

Jean looked around the room. Looking for someone else there besides Soo Yin. Jean was self-aware enough to be there that she didn't dare to come if there's another member of his family.

"Relax, no one else is inside," said Soo Yin. She could see worry out of the corner of her eye.

Jean nodded her head, then followed Soo Yin's footsteps towards the bed. Even before she arrived, Jean's tears had escaped along with the emptiness she felt.

"Sir …." Jean could not contain the feeling of sadness seeing the man she loved so much was lying. His eyes were closed and his lips were pale and it made her chest tightened even more.

Soo Yin pulled out a chair for Jean to sit down. Rubbing her back without saying anything to comfort Jean's heart. Seeing Jean's tears made her guilt grow again.

For her, Park Soo Hyun deserved to love a girl as good as Jean. A girl who had short hair and had dimpled cheeks.

No one knew except Jean if Park Soo Hyun had an accident because she wanted to see him. Dae Hyun didn't allow Soo Yin to tell anyone because things will get more complicated if that happened.

There will be people who didn't like it so they'll say that the cause of the accident was because of Soo Yin.

"Sir, how could you be like this?" said Jean in between sobs that were so pitiful that it could shake the soul of anyone who heard it.

"Get up, I beg you," Jean said with quivering lips.

Soo Yin couldn't bear to hear it so she chose to leave the room. She slowly closed the door and sat down in a chair not far away.

Her eyes sparkled again when she saw the figure of her husband walking down the corridor. Dae Hyun's presence always made her calm and didn't think about bad things.

Likewise Dae Hyun who was after seeing his wife, the feeling of tiredness after working all day slowly disappeared. Park Soo Hyun's absence at the hotel made his work more and more time-consuming. Plus the absence of Soo Yin, his enthusiasm while working was getting less and less exciting.

Soo Yin welcomed Dae Hyun's arrival with a smile. She wanted to give him a warm hug but Soo Yin reluctant to do so. It was too dangerous there for fear that someone would suddenly caught them.

"Why are you here?" Dae Hyun said while stroking Soo Yin's hair.

"There's Jean inside, I don't want to disturb her. Did you have dinner?"

"I don't have an appetite because I want to eat you more," Dae Hyun teased with a mischievous smile.

Soo Yin glared at Dae Hyun. At times like this, he was still joking.

"I'm just joking. Let's have dinner first," said Dae Hyun before Soo Yin got angry at what he said. The goal was only so that there was no tension that continued to occur between them after Park Soo Hyun's accident. The past few days, Soo Yin had always been gloomy.

Soo Yin nodded her head as her hand pinched Dae Hyun's waist. Before leaving, she had texted Jean if they were going out for a while.
