Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 346 - 346 - Still Waiting

An hour had passed, but the operation was still not over. Dae Hyun also continued to walk in front of the door. He forgot about Soo Yin who was still waiting for Park Soo Hyun to come to Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Dae Hyun kept pensively thinking about how his brother got into an accident. Until a few moments later his mind finally thought about Soo Yin

"Soo Yin?" Dae Hyun muttered with worry starting to spread throughout his body. With wide steps Dae Hyun approached his mother and Aeri.

"Aeri, I'll leave mom for a while. I have to go," said Dae Hyun.

"Where are you going?" Aeri asked while raising her eyebrows. She was quite happy because after a long time Dae Hyun was finally able to be nice to her. Aeri will use this opportunity to win his heart back.

"Stay here. I beg you to take care of mom until I come back," Dae Hyun said with a hopeful look. At least he felt grateful that Aeri was with them at this time.

"Okay," Aeri said, she happily will looking after her mother-in-law.

After making sure that his mother was safe and fine with Aeri, the man immediately left the hospital.

 Cheonggyecheon Stream,

Soo Yin was still waiting for Park Soo Hyun even though she had been waiting for an hour. She still insisted on being there even though Chung Ho had persuaded her to go home.

Soo Yin was determined that the problem with Park Soo Hyun must be resolved tonight so that there were no misunderstandings and Park Soo Hyun's heart will hurt even more.

Soo Yin's body felt even more shivering as the snowflakes slowly fell to the ground. She tried her best to endure the cold even though she had to bite her lower lip.

Didn't forget that Soo Yin had also called Park Soo Hyun's number but it was not active. She tried to always think positive. Maybe, Park Soo Hyun was currently on a trip or there was a sudden need that made him a little late to come.

People had slowly left the place because the cold weather made them reluctant to linger there. While Soo Yin was still sitting on a chair. She didn't want to disappoint her brother-in-law any longer. That was why she was still holding on.

"Why did he take so long?" Soo Yin mumbled as she sat still restlessly. Her hands were clamped on her thighs.

Soo Yin kept roaming her eyes here and there hoping to find Park Soo Hyun's figure soon so she could go home soon. She didn't know how much longer she could endure in the cold of the night before midnight.

She didn't even care about Chung Ho, who had been asking her to leave that place from a long time ago. She put he necklace given by Park Soo Hyun that she had been holding in her hand into the bag. Afraid if she suddenly unknowingly throwing it away.

°°°

Dae Hyun closed the door firmly after arriving at the parking lot. He saw Chung Ho who was still standing on the side of the car while he was smoking a cigarette. It meant that Soo Yin was still there.

"Chung Ho, is Soo Yin still in here?" Dae Hyun said with a sense of worry.

"Yes, sir. Miss doesn't want to leave before Mr. Park Soo Hyun comes," Chung Ho said, while lowering his head.

Dae Hyun immediately ran further into the riverside area to look for Soo Yin's current whereabouts.

"Soo Yin!" he called in a loud voice. Dae Hyun kept going around before finally seeing a girl sitting by the river. Her gaze was towards the calm flowing water.

"Honey," said Dae Hyun who immediately sat down on his knees in front of Soo Yin. He was holding her hand that was already as cold as snow tightly. Then put their hands on his lips.

"Honey, why are you in here? Where is Park Soo Hyun? Why hasn't he come yet?" Soo Yin asked repeatedly because she was surprised that it was her husband who came.

"Let's go home," Dae Hyun said in a sad tone, unable to contain his sadness. He was feeling guilty for not wanting to give in for his brother. For him, Soo Yin had became air for him to breathe so it was impossible to let her go.

"Stay away a bit, what if Park Soo Hyun sees us?" Soo Yin said as she tried to let go of her hand but Dae Hyun's grip was too strong.

Dae Hyun closed his eyes, tried to steel his heart to be able to say what was happening right now.

"We should just go home because Park Soo Hyun won't come," Dae Hyun said while staring at Soo Yin's eyes. There was a feeling of guilt that welled up in his soul.

"But, he already sent a message. He said that he is on his way. I don't want to hurt him any longer. He deserves a girl who is much better than me," said Soo Yin. There was a desire to wait a little longer.

"Yeah, it's true that Park Soo Hyun was already on his way. But, he… he… had an accident when he was on his way to come to this place," Dae Hyun said, stuttered while lowering his head.

The world suddenly seemed to stop spinning. Soo Yin's heart immediately shook like it had been electrocuted. Her mind wandered, imagining what had happened. With eyes already heating up Soo Yin shook her head slowly.

Soo Yin really didn't want this to happen. She didn't want something like this to get away from Park Soo Hyun. Slowly, now her eyes were condensing with crystal grains in the corners of her eyes.

"So how is he now?" Tears could no longer be contained in the corners of the beautiful girl's eyes until they fell profusely down her cheeks.

"The doctor is currently treating him. Hopefully nothing bad happens to him," Dae Hyun said with bloodshot eyes. It never occurred to Dae Hyun to pray for bad things to happen to his brother.
