Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 223 - 223 - Not Romantic

"He gave a surprise through fireworks with the words 'I love you' in the sky. Then he also put a necklace in the Cheese cake. I almost swallowed it," Soo Yin said.

"That way is no longer romantic. It's too ordinary, can't he find another way," Dae Hyun sneered with a snort.

Soo Yin rolled her eyes at Dae Hyun's statement.

"It's much more romantic than the man who is currently in front of me. Never mind proposing, not even said to marry me," Soo Yin said.

"It was much more romantic because I said it directly to your father," Dae Hyun argued defensively.

"It was not romantic but forced," Soo Yin said.

"If not, you will not want to marry me," Dae Hyun said in a flat tone.

"Of course, who will marry a man who already has a wife," Soo Yin. muttered

"Even though I already have a wife, my face is much more handsome than a man who is still single," Dae Hyun said while winking one eye.

"Geez, I never thought you were too confident. Never mind I want to change my clothes," Soo Yin said, who was already standing and stepped towards the door. Did not want to linger arguing with her husband.

"You're not even done doing your job!" Dae Hyun exclaimed.

"My job is finished," Soo Yin said from behind the door.

=====================================

As usual when Dae Hyun stayed at Pyeongchang-dong villa, he didn't want to wake Soo Yin when he went to work. Instead, he will only make breakfast with a fairly varied menu. It was enough to touch Soo Yin's heart. At least her husband still bothered to make her breakfast even though he was busy at work.

Soo Yin felt very lucky sometimes, although sometimes his possessiveness was a bit outrageous. But it didn't matter while it was for good.

Today Soo Yin can't wait to meet Jean. When there was free time, Soo Yin tried to find her.

To be precise, Soo Yin had nothing to do this afternoon because Dae Hyun was out. She was only given a small task to do. So that after finishing it Soo Yin immediately looked for Jean.

With a gasping breath, she searched several rooms that Jean used to clean but she didn't exist. Even willing to had to climb several stairs. Soo Yin also asked several other employees but they said they didn't see her.

Until finally looking for her outside of the building, maybe she could find her there. After walking around in the hotel courtyard, Soo Yin's legs felt sore so she decided to sit on one of the chairs. The hot weather also made her throat started to feel dry.

Jae-hwa was just outside the hotel area when he saw Soo Yin who was rubbing her face. Sweaty sweat appeared on her forehead.

"Soo Yin, what are you doing in here?" Jae-hwa asked, who was standing beside her.

"What a coincidence we met. Do you know where Jean is? I've been looking for her but I didn't find her," said Soo Yin with a happy face. It's certain that Jae-hwa knew where their best friend was.

"Don't you know if Jean is no longer working at this hotel?" asked Jae-hwa. It didn't make sense that Soo Yin didn't know about it because all Jae-hwa knew was that they were really close.

"Is it true?" Soo Yin rose to her feet while widened his eyes. Did not believe with what she heard.

"Didn't she tell you?" said Jae-hwa with a frown. It really felt very strange.

Soo Yin shook her head softly. Her body felt limp until she sat back down. Regret and guilt now raged in her heart.

"Soo Yin, are you okay?" Jae-hwa shook Soo Yin's body because her gaze looked blank.

Soo Yin immediately regained consciousness then took a deep breath to calm herself down.

"I'm fine. I'm just surprised because Jean didn't say anything," Soo Yin said with a thin smile. Hoped that Jae-hwa didn't notice if something went wrong between them.

"Actually, she had wanted to resign for a long time, but I didn't think if it was the time. Maybe she already got a new, better job," said Jae-hwa.

"Do you know where she works?" Soo Yin asked hopefully.

"I don't know either, but if I do, I'll tell you," Jae-hwa said. He realized that there was worry in Soo Yin's eyes.

"Please tell me as soon as possible if you meet Jean," Soo Yin said while holding Jae-hwa's wrist.

"You don't need to worry, I will definitely help you find her," Jae-hwa said with a smile. He glanced at Soo Yin's hand that was still holding him.

Soo Yin immediately came to her senses so she hurriedly withdrew her hand. Didn't want get misunderstood. Especially if her husband saw her, he would definitely be angry.

"I better go back inside because I have to go back to work," Jae-hwa said goodbye. Even though he still wanted to chat with Soo Yin, a lot of work was waiting for him.

 "Alright."

Soo Yin immediately returned to the building. She stepped limply into the elevator to go to the 10th floor. When she was about to enter the room, from a distance there was a waiter who was carrying coffee. Even though the weather was hot outside, it felt cold indoors because the AC kept turned on.

Soo Yin patiently waited for the waiter to walk towards her. Just as she expected so she asked for a cup of cappuccino coffee. Luckily the waiter was willing to give it. Even though the coffee was actually ordered by another employee.

Soo Yin immediately grabbed the door knob, apparently the door was not closed tightly. There's no way if Soo Yin forgot, earlier when she left she was sure she had closed it properly.

"Manager Han?" Soo Yin muttered as she stepped closer to Dae Hyun's table with the coffee cup still in her hand.

"Manager Han, what are you doing?" Soo Yin asked, seeing his suspicious movements. It was as if the man had just put a file among the pile of files that had piled up.
