Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 151 - 151 - Return To Seoul

Hae Sok looked at Dae Hyun with an unpredictable expression. For a moment she didn't say anything.

"Dae Hyun, did you tell Yeon Woo that Soo Yin is your wife?" Hae Sok asked calmly.

"Yes, Grandma," Dae Hyun said casually.

"Do you know the consequences of your carelessness? Your mother almost found out," Hae Sok said with a slightly raised tone.

"It doesn't matter to me if mother find out."

"You stupid kid! Why are you being so reckless? Your mother really wants Soo Yin to be her daughter-in-law but not to you. She wants Soo Yin to marry Park Soo Hyun," Hae Sok said with an even higher tone. Hae Sok just found out last night that Park Soo Hyun liked Soo Yin.

"I know that, Grandma. I will keep our relationship hidden from Park Soo Hyun for a while," Dae Hyun said with a sigh.

"You have to know if you are caught having two wives then your position as director will be threatened," Hae Sok said so that his grandson would not careless.

"I have no problem at all if I have to step down from my position. For me Soo Yin means a lot in my life," Dae Hyun said sincerely. He will not repeat his mistake for a second time. He will fight for the girl he loved.

"Do you want the hotel to fall to the children of your uncle and other aunts? Do you want the business that your grandfather built to slowly destroy?" Hae Sok asked with sharp eyes.

The Silla Seoul Hotel was the first hotel built by Dae Hyun's grandfather. In the past, the hotel was just an ordinary hotel before finally becoming a five-star hotel like it was now all because of Park Ji Hoon's hard work which was then continued by Dae Hyun.

Hae Sok has one son and two daughters, but her husband chose Park Ji Hoon who ran the hotel because he didn't trust his daughters-in-law even though they will get the same benefits but can't have them. His two daughters were of course against it until one day an agreement was made if the hotel leader cheated on his wife he would lose his position and a meeting would be held to determine a new leader.

"You have to know if your two uncles really want the position of director of the hotel. Your grandfather would definitely not be willing if the hotel fell into their hands," Hae Sok said while looking backwards remembering how her two daughters-in-law were very greedy.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. From now on I'll be careful," Dae Hyun said. He forgot about the agreement. It turned out that love has blinded everything.

"Remember not to let your grandfather who was up there be disappointed. You can only reveal your relationship if you are divorced from Aeri. Or you can hand over Soo Yin to your brother," Hae Sok suggested.

"I will never!" Dae Hyun said in a cold tone. He won't let Soo Yin go even though a storm will come over their relationship.

=====================================

After lunch they decided to return to Seoul. After all, Park Soo Hyun and Dae Hyun had to get back to work immediately after leaving the hotel for a few days.

"Grandma, come with us to Seoul," Aeri said. She still tried even harder to get Hae Sok's attention.

"Yeon Ho, be careful on the road. Until meet you again, cute boy," Hae Sok said while embracing Jo Yeon Ho's cheek who was so adorable. She completely ignored Aeri's words. She no longer believed in that woman.

Aeri could only hold back her anger by clenching her fists tightly. If Hae Sok wasn't Dae Hyun's grandmother, she wouldn't be willing to be nice to her.

"Why don't you just come with us to Seoul. Here you are alone away from your children and grandchildren," Mrs. Park said while holding Hae Sok's wrist which has wrinkled with age. She wanted her in-laws to join them.

"I just want to live quietly and comfortably," Hae Sok said.

"Then we'll go first, Mom." Mrs. Park hugged Hae Sok's body for a moment.

"Grandma, I'm sorry if I always been a bother while I'm here," Soo Yin said. She didn't dare look at the old woman.

"I know you're a good girl. I want you to be more patient," Hae Sok whispered with a certain meaning as she hugged Soo Yin. Somehow Hae Sok felt that Soo Yin was a lot more compatible with her grandson than Aeri. It seemed like she had to immediately go to the temple to ask her teacher.

"Thank you, Grandma." Soo Yin was touched by Hae Sok's words. She was happy because she didn't hate her.

"I will pray for both of you that God will give you the best way," Hae Sok whispered as she patted Soo Yin's back. The others have left so no one will listen to what they say.

After everyone said goodbye they finally left. Dae Hyun had to give up Soo Yin in a car with Park Soo Hyun. At first he insisted on refusing but Hae Sok continued to glare at him so that Dae Hyun couldn't help but give up.

Dae Hyun felt a little relieved to find out that his mother was with them so there was no need to worry if Park Soo Hyun would do something bad.

Dae Hyun slammed the car door hard with a sullen face. He didn't like it when he shared a car with Aeri.

If Dae Hyun was very angry then it was different from Park Soo Hyun who always developed a smile. He looked happy because he was in a car with Soo Yin. For him it didn't matter to have a mother because he already knew that her mother really supported Soo Yin to be his wife.

 ================================

Soo Yin continued to look ahead in silence. She felt stiff because she was in the front passenger seat right next to Park Soo Hyun. Moreover, Park Soo Hyun kept glancing at her, which made her feel very uncomfortable.

"Soo Yin, what are the criteria for your ideal man?" Mrs. Park asked, suddenly broke the silence. At first she intended to keep quiet and would let Park Soo Hyun to ask her but her son seemed shy.

"Yes, Mom?" Soo Yin, who was daydreaming, didn't really listen to Mrs. Park. She tilted her body to look back.

"I want to know what your ideal man is like?" Mrs. Park said, repeated her question once again.

"I… I don't have any criteria," Soo Yin said, a little stuttered.

"Do you like men like Park Soo Hyun?" Mrs. Park asked while glancing at her son who was focused on driving.

"Mother!" Park Soo Hyun said. He can't stop thinking that his mother will ask Soo Yin that. Park Soo Hyun's face turned red with embarrassment.

"Park Soo Hyun, you have to act fast because a girl as beautiful as Soo Yin must being chased a lot," Mrs. Park said, was completely shameless.

Soo Yin only smiled faintly in response to her mother-in-law's statement. She couldn't imagine that it would all be uncovered one day. Still Mrs. Park wants her to be daughter-in-law?

"Soo Yin, quickly answer your question?" Mrs. Park said, who can't wait to hear the answer.

Soo Yin scratched her head which didn't feel itchy. She did not know what to answer about this.

"I don't have any criteria. The most important thing is that man loves me," Soo Yin said while massaging her head. She no longer has the criteria of a dream man because she already got it.

"Really? Then what about Park Soo Hyun?" Mrs. Park asked with sparkling eyes.

"Never mind, Mom. Don't make Soo Yin feel uncomfortable," Park Soo Hyun protested. He didn't want Soo Yin to think that he wasn't brave enough to tell his own feelings.

Soo Yin can breathe a sigh of relief because Park Soo Hyun said that so she didn't have to answer her mother-in-law's question.

"Park Soo Hyun, after arriving in Seoul you have to take Soo Yin to a jewelery shop," Mrs. Park said.

"What for, Mom?" Park Soo Hyun asked while massaging his temples. Looked like her mother was impatient because at that time Park Soo Hyun had promised her to tell his love as soon as possible to Soo Yin. How could he do it if he never had the chance. This was all because of his brother who always made his plans failed.

"To buy your engagement ring," Mrs. Park said while chuckling.

"Cough… cough… cough…." Soo Yin, who was drinking mineral water, immediately choked until the water gushed out of her mouth.

"Soo Yin, are you okay?" Park Soo Hyun immediately held out a tissue with one hand.

Soo Yin shook her head then dried her wet pants with tissue.

"Be careful when you drink, Soo Yin," Mrs. Park said, who sat in the rear passenger seat.

"I'm fine, Mom," Soo Yin said. It seemed that she could not bear to hear the statement from her mother-in-law. It turned out that her mother-in-law made her even more uncomfortable. If it were just the two of them with Park Soo Hyun it certainly wouldn't be like this.
