Hidden Wife : Best Husband

Chapter 141 - 141 - Peonies And Edelweiss

"What are you looking for me for? Aren't you so happy to be hugged by that cheap woman?" Soo Yin quipped in a somewhat cynical tone.

"Are you jealous of her?" Dae Hyun teased with a smile. It was unexpected that his little wife was jealous of Yeon Woo.

"N ... no. How could I be jealous of her. I'm just annoyed with the man who was hugged by another woman but didn't say anything. You even seem to enjoy it very much," Soo Yin sneered while puffing out her cheeks.

"She's my little friend. We haven't seen each other for a long time, so it's only natural that she might miss our childhood," Dae Hyun said. He could not stand to see his wife jealous like that.

"Then why don't you say that we are husband and wife. You just keep quiet when she says I'm your sister," Soo Yin muttered. She could not harbor the resentment that was in her heart.

"Then come with me." Dae Hyun grabbed Soo Yin's wrist to follow him.

Dae Hyun took Soo Yin to Yeon Woo's house to sort things out.

Soo Yin frowned as they stood back in front of the woman's house.

"What did you bring me here for?" Soo Yin said.

"To straighten out about earlier. I will tell her that you are the wife that I really love," Dae Hyun said.

Just when Dae Hyun was about to knock on the door, at the same time Yeon Woo came out. She looked surprised to see Soo Yin and Dae Hyun.

"Is there something wrong?" Yeon Woo asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing, I just wanted to introduce you that Soo Yin is wife…." Before Dae Hyun had time to finish saying his words, Soo Yin had already covered his mouth.

"Wife?" a confused Yeon Woo asked.

"Sorry, we bothered you." Soo Yin immediately pulled Dae Hyun's hand away from Yeon Woo's house.

Yeon Woo shook his head. She felt there was something strange about what Dae Hyun said. She kept thinking about his unfinished words.

Dae Hyun only obeyed his little wife as his hand continued to be pulled.

"Honey, where are we going?" Dae Hyun said.

"Of course back to grandma's house. Why did you embarrass me earlier?" Soo Yin slammed Dae Hyun's wrist hard.

"Didn't you want me to admit you as my wife. Then why did you cover my mouth?" Dae Hyun said. He didn't know what his little wife really wanted.

"Yes, but there's no need to turn around again," Soo Yin said while pursing her lips.

"Don't be angry like that or you won't be able to sleep tonight," Dae Hyun teased.

"You're annoying!" Soo Yin smacked Dae Hyun's chest lightly while smiling.

"Let's go home because it's getting dark soon," Dae Hyun asked.

"Hi, young man!" an old woman called, who was on the side of the road. He was sitting, holding up his hands like someone asked.

The voice suddenly made Soo Yin and Dae Hyun turned their heads. Dae Hyun immediately took out several bills to give to the woman.

"As a thank you may I check your wife's hand?" the grandmother asked to Dae Hyun.

Dae Hyun and Soo Yin looked at each other. He was surprised by the woman even though they had never met before but why did that woman know that they were husband and wife.

"Don't be confused about why you know your relationship which is hidden from many people," the old woman said with a chuckle.

"Here beautiful girl let grandmother check your fate." The old woman took Soo Yin's hand.

Soo Yin still clenched her fists. She was a little afraid of the old woman.

"Don't be afraid," the woman said as she opened her palms.

Dae Hyun nodded his head so that Soo Yin would open her palm. He was very sure that the old woman would not do anything wrong to his little wife.

The woman seemed focused as she studied Soo Yin's palm line. She repeatedly knitted her brows together.

"Your love is actually like Peonies but there will be many thorns that will pierce it," the old woman said.

"What do you mean, Grandma?" Soo Yin asked while pulling her wrist.

"But your relationship someday will become Edelweiss flowers," the old woman continued without answering Soo Yin's question.

"Sorry, Grandma. We have to go home soon," Dae Hyun said. He could already guess if the old woman was trying to predict their relationship. To be honest, Dae Hyun never believed in such a thing.

"You have to endure so that your relationship is like the Edelweiss flower," the woman said as she looked Soo Yin's eyes.

Soo Yin didn't understand what the old lady was saying at all. After all, what the Peony flower and Edelweiss flower have to do in her life. It didn't make sense.

"Soo Yin, let's just go home," Dae Hyun whispered in his wife's ear.

Soo Yin nodded her head because her stomach suddenly felt a rumbling. In recent days her appetite has greatly increased.

"Sorry, we have to come back soon," Soo Yin said to the old woman.

They bent their bodies before finally stepping their feet away from the woman. Soo Yin was curious so she turned back, but it was unexpected that the old woman was not in the place earlier.

"Where is the woman?" Soo Yin muttered while looking around.

"There's no need to look for her and don't think about anything that woman said," Dae Hyun said as he took Soo Yin's wrist.

"Wash your hands and body before touching me! I don't want to touch the former woman who hugged you," Soo Yin said while staring at Dae Hyun.

Soo Yin immediately took a step first to quickly get to Hae Sok's house. Dae Hyun can only observed Soo Yin while scratching his head which didn't feel itchy. It turned out that Soo Yin's childish nature hasn't disappeared yet. Even though Soo Yin had already held his hand earlier but now told him to wash it first. It turned out that the woman was a bit strange and complicated.

They arrived at Hae Sok's house already dark because they went too far. Dae Hyun and Soo Yin cleaned up first before dinner. Soo Yin actually felt bad because this afternoon she didn't help Hae Sok cook. She felt like a guest who did not know herself.

Her stomach couldn't even be compromised. Soo Yin just continued to eat heartily. Unlike Dae Hyun, who only ate a little.

"Actually, where are you guys, why did you get home so late?" Hae Sok asked.

"Soo Yin got lost, Grandma," Dae Hyun said.

"Oh God, how did you get lost?" Hae Sok asked.

"I have you forgotten the direction of the road. In this village the houses looks the same," Soo Yin said with a grimace.

"I see, next time you have to be careful," Hae Sok suggested.

Soo Yin nodded her head.

They chatted for a while before finally Hae Sok told them to rest because they hadn't been resting at all since they arrived.

Dae Hyun and Soo Yin went into their adjoining room.

"Honey, what are you doing?" Dae Hyun who was lying down asked. He knocked on the barrier on the wall made of hanji.

"Hmmm," Soo Yin said from the other side.

"Are you asleep?" Dae Hyun said once again. He really couldn't sleep because he wanted to chat with his little wife.

"Yes," Soo Yin replied curtly. She felt strange with her husband. Already know if she hasn't slept but still ask about it.

"If you sleep then why do you answer my question?" Dae Hyun asked.

"Just your question that was very strange. Already know if I haven't slept yet you still ask about it," Soo Yin muttered.

"Can I sleep in your room?"

"Come here, if you want our relationship to be discovered by Grandma," Soo Yin challenged with a smile. She was sure that there was no way Dae Hyun would do that.

Already received approval from his little wife Dae Hyun immediately got out of bed.

Soo Yin pressed her ear against the wall. No sound was heard.

'Looks like he's sleeping,' Soo Yin muttered to herself. She immediately buried her head under the blanket. Her eyes also felt sticky from lack of sleep all day.

Just about to close, suddenly there was a sound of the door opening. The door was not locked so that people could enter without difficulty.

Soo jumped in surprise to see who suddenly entered. Dae Hyun walked in with a big smile, feeling that it was right to choose the room next to his little wife.

"What are you doing?" Soo Yin whispered with a glare. She was afraid that Hae Sok would suddenly hear them.

"Of course sleep with you," Dae Hyun said casually with a face that looked calm. He went up then buried his body in the same blanket with Soo Yin.

"Do you want Grandma to know about our relationship?" Soo Yin whispered with great emphasis.

"In a moment, I'll be back in my room. Now go to sleep," Dae Hyun said carelessly wrapped his hand around Soo Yeon's stomach.

"Go, grandma will find out later," Soo Yin said while pushing Dae Hyun from the bed.

"I'll only be a moment." Dae Hyun closed his eyes while hugging Soo Yin tighter.

Soo Yin, who was already very sleepy, finally gave up and closed her eyes too.
