Xiaomao had a headache. He already used his ultimate skill and lightning storm, so he didn’t have the proper skill to deal with this level-150 pirate boss.

Bush glanced at the pirate and snickered, “You know him?”

“Sort of, munya. I stole his warship.”

Bush ignored the commotion and the threat of undead pirates. He brought out a red book and passed it to Xiaomao.

<strong>Effect:</strong> Upon activation, a choker necklace will be forcefully equipped on the neck of your target. Then, the target will suffer the following effects;

– As long as the choker is equipped, decrease the target’s HP and MP by 1% per minute.

– Every time the choker decreases the target’s HP and MP, restore the Slavemaster’s HP and MP by the same amount.

– If either the target’s HP or MP reaches zero, the target will not die. Instead, the target will become the slavemaster’s slave. However, if the Slavemaster has no available retainer slot, the skill will fail, and the slave will be freed.

– If the conversion is a success, increase the slavemaster’s Max HP and Max MP by 1% of the captured slave. Permanently increase a random attribute by the level of the captured slave.

– If the choker is destroyed, stun the target for five seconds.

Seeing the tool in his inventory, Xiaomao had an idea. He walked toward the edge of the rock cliff and shouted at the pirates below.

“Yo mama is so fat that if she sits down on the Mariana Trench, she can cover the entire hole with her butt, munya!”

Torrent and Bush stared at Xiaomao’s face. They were surprised by the sudden Your-Mama joke.

The skeleton pirate turned to his subordinates, confused.

KAKAKAKA (What the hell is that cat talking about?)

The other undead crewmates shrugged as they didn’t understand Xiaomao’s joke as well.

Seeing that mama jokes might not work on these pirates, Xiaomao chose not to talk trash. Instead, he rubbed them where they hurt.

“I wonder where your ship is, munya. Hey, you there. Why are you so obsessed with your cogs? Oh, right. I see why you are proud of them, munya. After all, you are meatless skeletons. Those COGS are the replacement of your missing COGS, right? NYAHAHAHA!”

KAKAKAKA (That’s it! KILL THAT FREAKING CAT!)

Torrent and his crews were enraged. They got off their ships and climbed the cliff, coming after Xiaomao, Bush Cox, and the other rescued NPCs.

The refugees trembled in fear as they had never seen undead monsters before. As for Bush, he calmly stood behind Xiaomao, holding a spear that he stole from a cultist.

As for Xiaomao, he simply laughed at the skeletons and threw a shaman fireball at them.

BOOM

Level-100 skeleton pirates ignored the damage and kept climbing. Torrent clattered his jaws and also ignored the flame as none of them could feel any pain.

KAKAKAKA (I fought stronger foes before. You trashy cat is no match for me! Wait for me there, Regressor!)

Suddenly, Xiaomao cast a lightning bolt spell, the basic spell of all lightning mages. It directly hit one of the pirates and knocked them off the cliff.

As soon as the lightning appeared, Torrent and his men froze on the spot. They remembered the PTSD experience when Xiaomao cast the Lightning Storm on them and almost wiped out their fleet.

Torrent climbed down and pushed his subordinates to go first. The other skeletons also shook their heads, not wanting to get hit by the purification lightning.

Looking at their reactions, Xiaomao couldn’t stop laughing. He spammed the lightning bolt spell, which only had five seconds of cooldown time.

Although the lightning bolt came every five seconds, it terrified the skeleton pirates. They clattered their jaws and purposely fell off the cliff into the sea to save their bones.

However, these monsters were not stupid. After a minute, they noticed that the lightning bolts were not as deadly as the PTSD-inducing Lightning Storm.

KAKAKAKA (These are fake lightning bolts! Men, get that stupid cat!)

The skeletons were enraged once again. They resumed climbing the cliff toward Xiaomao.

Seeing that the pirates didn’t fall for his trick, Xiaomao got on a flying sword and flew down toward the cog ships. As Xiaomao changed the angle, he found a better spot to shoot the fireball.

Currently, pirates latched onto the tall stone cliff as if they were cockroaches, climbing on the vertical pipe of a sewer system. Xiaomao aimed at the area where the pirates were densest.

“MU-NYA-NYA!”

The good fireball hit the center of the cliff and incinerated the skeletons in flame. Some of the skeletons’ HP bars dropped to zero, and they fell to the bottom of the cliff.

However, the bones self-reconstructed and restored their body, including their HP bars by themselves. After a few seconds, it came back to life, and laughed at Xiaomao.

KAKAKAKA (You can’t kill us, damn cat!)

Xiaomao tilted his head and thought for a moment. He glanced at the inventory slot, which was filled with sacred water.

‘Is sacred water considered holy water? I need to try.’

Xiaomao poured the water into a bucket and splashed at the skeletons on the cliff, aiming at Torrent.

Torrent’s fireball eyes expanded as if he sensed something amiss. He let out of his hands and fell to the bottom of the cliff, breaking his leg bones in the process. However, he patched them and restored the bones in a split second.

Looking up, Torrent found the horrifying scene.

The water that Xiaomao had splashed at him earlier soaked a dozen of his level-100 subordinates. They emitted white smoke, and their bones were melting into goo.

The skeletons screamed by clattering their jaws. They looked up and were horrified by the damage.

10,000 Damage!

If the damage appeared once, they wouldn’t have panicked. However, one drop of water caused 10,000 damage, and some of them got hit by a bucket-worth of holy water.

This was equivalent to instant death!

KAKAKAKA (NOOOOO!)

Terrified, Torrent turned tail and ran back to one of his ships. Alone, he boarded a cog ship and cut the anchor, sailing away from the cliff.

Xiaomao couldn’t stop laughing. His lucky streak was so overpowered that he wanted to buy a few lotteries.

He didn’t care about common, uncommon, or rare drops anymore. He only looked for super-rare and better-quality items from the piles.

As Xiaomao didn’t see anything worthwhile, he splashed more water at the shivering skeletons, preventing them from reaching the top of the cliff.

The pirates shrieked and fell from the stone cliff one by one. They scrambled to flee from the cat on the flying sword.

Noticing that the pirates were too cowardly, Xiaomao pursed his lips. He turned to the ship of Torrent, who had sailed away before the others.

Xiaomao glanced at the choker. He smirked and controlled the flying sword to follow Torrent at its full speed.

“Why are you running? NYAHAHAHAHA!!”

Torrent heard Xiaomao’s sinister laughing voice. While controlling the wheel, he turned around and clattered his jaws in fright.

KAKAKAKA! (LEAVE ME ALONE, REGRESSOR!)

“No can do, munya! Come back here, Pikachu!”

KAKAKAKA?! (WHO IS PIKACHU?! I’M THE GREAT PIRATE KING TORRENT!)

“Even pirates can be captured, munya! Stop running and let me add you to my collection!”

KAKAKAKA! (NOOOOO!!)

The table was turned. The hunted became the hunter, and the hunter became the hunted.

Meanwhile, Bush and the rescued prisoners looked at the chaotic chase between the pirate ship and the flying cat with wry smiles on their faces.

They expected a bitter fight, but Xiaomao’s combat method stunned them.

Bush Cox covered his face with his left palm. He snickered, “You’re something, Sir Xiaomao.”
