• The advanced beginner level can be achieved if you can direct your internal energy outward through the hallux and second toe of both feet concurrently. That is, the internal energy was stored in the five phalanges of each foot. Thus allowing you to cover the distance of twenty meters in a single breath with only a single step.

• The intermediate level...

• The advanced inter...

• The expert level will be attained when all the fourteen phalanges will be used by you to store your energy and then directing out the stored energy through all the five toes of each foot onto the medium. Thus allowing you to cover a distance of 100 meters in a single breath by only taking a single step."

Zhao Luo had reached the end of the scroll.

"So each foot has fourteen bones in the toes. If I can control and direct my energy on the ground through these bones, I will be able to cover 100 meters in a single step."

Zhao Luo could now recite the First Walk with his heart. That is how amazingly, the leader of the Xin Sect, Xin Wang had prepared the content of this technique.

The unfortunate thing was that except for the swords, Ifrit and Blackey the other techniques, and the mark needed internal energy.

While Drion, the shield acted on its own.

'I can't even control it except practicing with it in the dark space', remembering the time when he practiced with it against his apparitions, Zhao Luo mumbled. 

Zhao Luo was depressed when he realized that he couldn't even use most of his comforts.

The next instant when Zhao Luo opened his eyes, he had already entered his mental world, the dark space.

With darkness enshrouding him like always, there was a certain glimmering object resting on its place a little away from him.

Zhao Luo looked at the shield and pointed his finger at it while talking with it.

After which, Zhao Luo looked in the vast surrounding of his dark space with a straight face.

Zhao Luo said loudly.

Nine apparitions appeared from thin air in front of him.

Zhao Luo told them even though he had only missed a day of training after coming out of the Fu Zi World, the time inside it felt like more than two days.

The apparitions nodded but their expressionless faces remained the same.

Zhao Luo thought with a grin.

The thing he missed was beating them in the start and getting crushed by them at the end of his training.

"Swords."

Zhao Luo shouted as black swords appeared in the hands of his apparitions.

"BLACKEY"

Zhao Luo's swords also appeared in his hands.

"Three of you come."

Zhao Luo pointed at the closest apparitions and ordered them.

"Yes."

The three apparitions replied as they started advancing towards Zhao Luo while pointing their black sharp swords at him.

"Huff."

Before they could reach him, Zhao Luo took a deep breath and closed his eyes for less than a second.

In that moment of the second he pushed most of his strength through his ankles, raised his heel, and pushed back the dark space under his feet with his toes.

'Boom.'

Zhao Luo released his static position and attacked his three apparitions.

He passed by his apparition before they could even blink.

'Slash.'

They heard the slicing sound of swords but their swords were unmoved.

The apparitions who were half as strong as Zhao Luo couldn't even lift their swords.

Just a crimson red light and a ghastly dark line were left in front of their sights as Zhao Luo was already standing behind them.

The next moment X shaped slashes appeared on their shadow bodies.

"If I only use the power of my muscles, I can cover 5 meters in just a step."

Zhao Luo spoke to himself as he turned around to look at his apparitions.

That was half of what a disciple who had learned the beginner level First Walk could do.

"If they all fight while repeating this movent, I may just be able to achieve beginner level without even knowing about internal energy."

The three apparitions behind him had already recovered so Zhao Luo started fighting with them.

The whole dark space was filled with the sound of small explosions and sword slashes that were even slicing through the air.

After a while, the sound of metal collision started echoing around the space.

Zhao Luo was shouting while using his zero internal energy version of the First walk technique while adding the fire technique 'burst slash' at the end of his movements.

The three apparitions used their six swords to block Zhao Luo's Ifrit and Blackey as the explosive dual continued between them.

The apparitions were also using the techniques as they kept on improving very slowly throughout the night training session inside this dark space.
