Back For My Daughter

Chapter 276 - We Will Be Always Grateful

"Little Qi what were you talking about the party to Little Lan?"

As soon as the two little girls rushed out of the kitchen wanting to watch some of their favourite cartoons with their little new friend, Grandma Yan asked about the party to Ye Qian.

"Mom Qian'er wanted to have a celebration at the old age home since he had returned and the uncles and aunts there also took care of Qiqi when she was released from the school and the small party is just that celebration for his return."

Knowing that Ye Qian would definitely find it hard to explain, Yuan Meng explained to Grandma Yan.

"Ohhh."

Grandma Yan nodded and turned to Ye Qian.

"Since they were taking care of my Grandchild, we will always be grateful for them so it's nice of you Little Qi to do something like this for them."

Grandma Yan then asked with a smile.

"So the party will be in the evening?"

"Hmm."

Ye Qian and Yuan Meng nodded while Ning Wei stood there listening to them without saying anything.

She knew that there was nothing she should say since she didn't know about all this as well.

All she had done was visit a few times to take Little Qiqi after her leave to her home and that was also sometimes and she had also not many people there except for Grandma Xue and the watchmen.

After a few minutes, everyone was done with their breakfast and were about to get up when they heard some light footsteps.

Everyone's attention went to the door where a young girl in her 20's was looking around.

She was looking as if she didn't know much about the house and carefully glanced at the rooms.

"Xiao Ya, come here."

Ye Qian called out seeing her walk into the living room like a ghost without knowing anything.

"Ahh, here are you all."

Xiao Ya mumbled lightly but Ye Qian was obviously able to hear it clearly and smiled at her.

He understood that she must have been really hungry by now and already a lot of time had passed since she had her dinner yesterday.

Xiao Ya nodded with a bright smile and walked in.

She was wearing a T-shirt with a jacket and black jeans.

Her hairs were arranged into a simple bun and she looked just like a graceful lady.

Grandma Yan's eyebrows raised up as she looked at Xiao Ya.

She didn't understand why to buy she was seeing that there were many beautiful girls around her son and though she knew that there would be nothing wrong sine she completely knew how her son was.

She still felt weird for seeing so many beautiful women all around him.

It had been not even a day since they came here and she had already seen Ning Wei who was just too close to Ye Qian, then there was Yu Lan, though she knew about Yu Lan a lot she still found it a little bit weird to see her so close to Ye Qian and now there was this girl.

She really didn't understand anything of all this.

"Hello, good morning."

Xiao Ya greeted all of them with a simple yet sober smile.

"Come little girl sit, you must be feeling really hungry."

Grandma Yan patted the chair beside her which was empty and called Xiao Ya.

She had not seen her yesterday since everything happened in such haste and she also didn't go to see her yesterday after the dinner.

Though Ye Qian had told them that the girl was completely fine she still felt that maybe the girl should have been brought to the hospital, but after seeing the glow and the smile on Xiao Ya's lips and the way she behaved without an ounce of pain or discomfort, Grandma Yan understood that the girl was now completely fine and took another glance at Ye Qian.

With each moment she saw her son, she felt as if though she knew him she still didn't know anything about him.

These conflicting thoughts made her confused.

"Hmm."

Xiao Ya was already embarrassed to be in someone's house and the fact that she had been sleeping here for the whole night and was so late to wake up made her even more embarrassed.

It was not like she knew Ye Qian or the vice versa, but still, he was willing to help her and even disclosed such a secret to her without any worry.

This made her feel that maybe Ye Qian completely believed her and so was willing to teach her some of the Magic which he called Cultivation or something last night.

She woke up just half an hour ago and was first in a daze as to where she was but then the small egg in her necklace buzzed and she remembered that she was in the house of the man who used to give her tip in the supermarket and was also her friend's brother.

Though she was also embarrassed to call Yu Lan a friend as she had said so many bad things about her in front of others.

And though she never meant to do anything like this she was still forced to act in order to get help for her mother.

Remembering completely what had happened yesterday, Xiao Ya felt that it was completely like a dream but it was true and the proof to all that happened yesterday was right in front of her and that too so close to her heart, beating with its own life in it.

She clutched to the small basket necklace which Ye Qian had made for her and a different feeling gushed in her heart as her heart beats increased.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror and was dazed for a few minutes until she could recognize herself and freshened up while her stomach made some really weird sounds.

She didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.

She knew how much she ate yesterday at the dinner but here she was not still feeling hungry.
