Chapter 222 - Drawing Prizes

Chapter 222: Drawing Prizes

The ten million RMB was turned into ten thousand diamonds.

It cost one hundred diamonds to spin once, meaning he could spin one hundred times. The system was really thoughtful as there was a new level on the side of the machine with a note :”Draw ten: Spend 990 diamonds, 10*whatever you drew.”

“… What a great deal,” Chen Mo said sarcastically.

That meant spending nine hundred and ninety gems would multiply whatever you drew by ten (not ten different equipment).

And save ten diamonds.

Chen Mo rolled his eyes at the thought that ten diamonds meant ten thousand RMB, but there was nothing else he could do but accept it.

He pulled the spin ten lever.

The reels started spinning with various types of equipment flashing on the screen. It didn’t take long before they settled down.

Design – Numerics – Numerics balancing skillbook (level 2)

One book turned into ten because of the spin ten. Ten identical level two numerics skill books appeared on the screen.

“Huh, not bad,” Chen Mo tapped on the skill books before they turned into stars and flew into his fingertip.

Various knowledge of balancing flew into Chen Mo’s mind. Various types of calculations, tableaus, and various balancing concepts and ideas were now part of Chen Mo’s arsenal.

Balancing numbers were incredibly important to Chen Mo as PC’s greatest weapon, MOBAs, were strongly dependent on balancing. Without proper balancing numerically, there was no way the final product was going to be balanced.

It was nearly impossible to have a proper competitive system in an imbalanced MOBA, not to mention the difficulty of retaining players.

Chen Mo continued to draw.

He pulled on the lever, the reels started and stopped again.

Design – professional knowledge, architecture skill book.

Another ten books.

Chen Mo let out ah ‘oh’. Even though he didn’t need it, it was useful nonetheless.

May as well consume it.

After consuming the ten architecture skill books, many relevant knowledge appeared in his mind, including composition, special buildings, and even some structural drawings.

He moved onto more.

Design- story- story writing skill book (level two)

Chen Mo was a bit bothered by the amount of architecture skill books he’d drawn as it felt that he couldn’t utilize all this. But since he drew them, he may as well consume them.

He continued spinning.

Presentation – Art – Photoshop Skill Book.

“Hmm? Photshop? What?”

With some doubt in mind, Chen Mo consumed the ten skill books.

Chen Mo understood what it meant after consuming. Photoshop meant improving details, adding details to rough models to increase the amount of detail.

Take older games for example, other than having rougher models, the graphics on the models were low quality to start with, and was the main obstacle to overcome in order to have a high quality game. After mastering this ability, Chen Mo’s art skill can be increased further, bringing rough graphics and models to a higher quality.

“Not bad, I wouldn’t mind a few more of those.”

Chen Mo continued.

Equipment – Consumable – Efficiency Adjuster

“Oh? New equipment!”

This caught Chen Mo’s attention. Sure he had drawn many special equipment before, but there were only so many different types of equipment in level one, such as Memory Playback Potion, Super Accelerator… He was finally met with new equipment in level two.

Efficiency Adjuster: Increases thinking and acting speed after use, with a maximum of ten times. The higher the efficiency, the shorter the duration. Double time lasts for one hour, ten times lasts for twelve minutes.

“Hmm? Not bad!”

This was similar to Super Accelerator, but was obviously much better. First was the ability to adjust how many times efficiency he wanted, the other was no side effects, meaning he could use it back to back.

As it was a consumable, Chen Mo didn’t use it immediately.

He continued spinning

Equipment – Consumable – Jinx Curse

“Hmm? Jinx?”

Chen Mo was confused and looked at the item description.

Jinx curse: After consuming, whatever positive thing the user says in a public space will have the complete opposite effect. Triggers, warm-up time, and effects are completely random.

Chen Mo was speechless. He could tell that this was a very dangerous equipment, not only was it hard to control, there were many restrictions too.

It must be done publicly and must be something positive, either praises or encouragement. Moreover, whichever line it triggers on, how long it lasts, and what it does was completely random. It might be utterly useless, or incredibly game changing.

“I’ll save it for now, I’m afraid that I’ll misuse it.” Chen Mo decided to keep it in his bracelet for a later time.

He was afraid of triggering it after wishing he’d have a healthy safe life, then dying by his own hands.

He continued drawing.

He was now almost out of diamonds after spinning two more times, with a hundred more diamonds left. He decided to save the leftover one hundred diamonds for next time.

Overall he received:

Ten Level two Numerical Balancing Skill Books.

Ten Level two Story Writing Skill Books.

Thirty Architecture Skill Books.

Thirty Photoshop Skill Books.

Ten Efficiency Adjuster.

Ten Jinx Curses.

Chen Mo was quite happy with what he got so far. Although Chen Mo wanted to continue spinning, he ultimately stopped himself.

“It sure is difficult to suppress the desires to gamble,” muttered Chen Mo.

Su Jinyu came upstairs again once Chen Mo was done.

“Manager, there’s a delivery addressed to you.”

“Alright, thanks,” said Chen Mo as he stood up.

The two of them went downstairs together.

Su Jinyu asked, “Manager, what did you buy this time. It’s a huge box, and the delivery guy said it was a valuable item.”

“About that… You’ll know it a bit. It is quite valuable.”
