This particular effect baffled Ban. If what it said was really true, then the Beast Tattoo should have already evolved by now, considering that he already ranked up twice, from X-Mortal to E-Elite Rank. 

Ban thought for a moment and came up with an answer. 

'Maybe the 'evolve' stated here didn't mean ranking up?' 

Ban tried asking the System but he didn't receive any reply. He could only sigh in defeat as he set aside this matter for now. No need to think about something that's hard to understand. 

Maybe in the future he will reach the requirement for this but for now, he should just focus on what's in front of him. 

Anyways, the discovery of more efficient cultivation for his contracted Beast, although made him feel jealous, also made him feel delighted inside. 

This effect could change his situation from now on. He could put Eva and Tria there all day long and just support them by giving them Beast Cores every now and then, given they finished the Beast Cores he handed beforehand. 

If somehow he encountered an enemy he could not handle, or if he needed their help, he could just summon them in an instant and after the matter was done, he could just store them inside again so that they could cultivate. 

However, he also knew that this plan was not perfect. After all, according to what he knew so far, cultivating or absorbing Beast Cores wasn't that easy. 

There are times where the absorber would not be able to absorb anything even if they tried cultivating for days. There are also times where they will grow tired of cultivating for too long, and as a result, lowering their efficacy in cultivating. 

These situations are what they call bottlenecks. The situation where a 'cultivator' or an absorber will find it hard to absorb more essence to strengthen themselves. Some would also encounter this during and before they ranked up, depending on their talent. 

Hence, one could just not enter seclusion and absorb essence for months or years, expecting to always rank up at the end. Ranking up was not as easy as drinking water. It also has its own difficulties. 

Of course, he also heard that those geniuses from the powerful families in the city can just absorb essence and rank up without facing any bottleneck. 

'Sigh, if only I was half as talented as them. Fortunately, I have the System. With the System's help, I can somehow manage to be on par with them in terms of absorption speed, the only problem would be the bottlenecks I will face later on.'

Ban steeled himself and promised to himself that he would surpass these bottlenecks no matter what. A resolute expression appeared on his face behind the Ant Mask while vowing this. 

Anyways, Ban called Tria over who was perching on a tree not far away ever since earlier. She could have just helped him but Ban ordered her not to. Aside from her lacking any Skills, he was also kind of trying to train himself not to rely on his Summon that much.

After all, the teachings of his gramps was still deeply engraved into his mind.

'In this world, the only person you can rely on the most is yourself.'

This sentence that was spoken by him time and time again was proven to be true after his gramps got abducted, and possibly killed, leaving him alone all by himself. Fortunately, as he was wandering around aimlessly, that group of merchants spotted him and allowed him to come along, before ultimately dropping him in the city, or more precisely, in Kuys Bar.

Tria has already transformed back to her normal form. Although she could transform at will and even maintain it as long as possible without any repercussions, she would still be tired after flying nonstop for almost half an hour.

Of course, for her to fly that fast, it was to be expected that she would burn more energy or stamina while flying compared to other flying-type Beasts.

Unfortunately, the two of them haven't reached the Perfect Harmony State yet or Ban could just share the stamina and healing effect he gets from Greed's passive ability, Absorber.

Ban called her over and stored her inside the Beast Tattoo so that she could recover her stamina. After knowing the effects of the Beast Tattoo, he could just not bear to let it stay idle just like that. 

The 5x stamina recovery rate was just right for Tria. She could stay there in one hour and have the same effect of resting outside for at most 5 hours. 

He did not give her any Beast Core to cultivate as Ban still wanted to use her later as a mount. But given the Beast Tattoo's effect, as long as Ban stored her inside to cultivate during the night, it would also not be long for her to absorb all of the essence and rank up.

After Ban stored her inside, Ban also stored the Beast Core he just extracted from the Orc Lizard earlier into the Dimensional Storage Earring. 

He also checked on Eva once again and calculated how much time she would need in order to fully absorb the Beast Core that was now showing signs of cracking. After some rough estimation, Ban thought that she should be able to fully absorb it after 2 to 4 or even 3 hours at most with her talent. 

After he was done observing them, he proceeded to do his usual morning routine that he obviously set aside earlier due to how full he was from breakfast. 

It was the Daily Mission issued by the System. 

After he ranked up to E-Elite Rank, the Mission has also added some minor changes to it. 

He already learned his lesson from before. He no longer wanted to postpone it and do it along the way as there was a high chance he would overlook it again and receive that punishment that has also become even harder after the change. 

The timing was also alright as while doing the Mission, he could also wait for the cooldown of his Skills before proceeding to the next location. 

Ban did the first set which was the push up and the squats. Warned by the System before, he no longer dared to perform curl ups due to the hidden injury on his spine that was also connected to his broken core. 

After  finishing the first set, Ban also did the last which was to run for a total of more than 20 kilometers.

And a total of half an hour later, a System screen popped up in front of him.. The Daily Mission was completed and it was now time for the System  to hand over the rewards.
