Ban frowned after seeing that the Orc Lizard was actually able to evade that slash. Although he did not expect the slash to end its life right away, Ban was at least expecting for the blade of the dagger to injure it heavily. 

Nevertheless, Ban did not ponder about it for long as he slashed with the dagger again. This time, the Orc Lizard was not as lucky as most of its precious 'hairs' were cut off of its head, making it look like a bald lizard compared to its look earlier. 

The Orc Lizards were infuriated by this as it did not expect the human to be so strong. Not to mention him using Skill, there was also that dagger that constantly sends danger vibes towards it. 

Even though the Orc Lizard also had some decent defense due to it being a Lord Grade Beast, in front of the Quasi D-Master Rank Poisonous Butterfly Dagger, it was akin to a sheet of paper. 

The Orc Lizard counterattacked with a Nasty Bite, a typical Skill for Orc Lizards. This bite brings lethal poison, the same poison used in the Poison Spit earlier. It can immobilize the opponent bitten for a whole minute if the bite was successful. 

Unfortunately for it, after seeing the sign that it was about to use a Skill, Ban immediately prepared himself. The Nasty Bite that was supposed to be a sure-hit kill was actually blocked by Ban's dagger.

The Nasty Bite was interrupted and blocked by Ban mid-way, the force it brought pushed Ban backwards for a few inches. Nevertheless, Ban already expected it so he has already prepared himself for it. 

Thinking that he won't actually be able to kill the Orc Lizard easily like he expected this time, Ban no longer held back as he used the Enraged Crocodile's Roar at point blank range. 

The Enraged Crocodile Roar has a long cooldown of 30 minutes. Ban didn't plan on using it for this battle as he felt confident that he will be able to kill the Orc Lizard by only using the Fist Penetration Skill and with the dagger. 

Alas, he just did not account for the luck of this fellow that allowed it to dodge his attacks at the last moment, allowing it to avoid fatal attacks. 

As the loud roar reverberated the area, the body of the Orc Lizard shook before it was forced to stop due to the Skill's effect. 

Ban did not waste the opportunity as he retracted the dagger and then plunged it deep into the eyes of the Orc Lizard, causing it immense pain. But due to the Enraged Crocodile's Roar, the Orc Lizard could not even move its body, how much more to wail in pain.

Seeing that it was not enough to kill, Ban did not waste any precious time as he pulled the poisonous dagger and pierced the Orc Lizard's yet again. Ban repeated this movement until he received the announcement for killing the Orc Lizard. 

At this time, the head of the Orc Lizard already looked like it was poked by a dozen bees. There was a lot of hole on it, courtesy to the Quasi D-Master Rank dagger. 

Ban ignored it and looked at the notification screen this time.

Ban exited the familiar notification and immediately extracted the Orc Lizard's Beast Core. 

The Beast Core was located right before the base of its tail. It was deep blue in color, and seemed to be of the perfect quality. 

Ban nodded his head satisfyingly as he summoned the Unknown Egg, to let it have its fill. 

The Unknown Beast seems to be excited by the meal provided to it. 

It no longer wasted any time as it directly absorbed the body of the Orc Lizard after Ban placed the Unknown Egg over the Orc Lizard. 

After a couple of seconds, the Orc Lizard was reduced to a puddle of blood, as the Unknown Egg 'burped' satisfyingly. 

If Rila also witnessed this scene, that she actually missed yesterday due to her getting distracted a little by Ban's luck, she would suely vomit blood, and might overthink yet again that the Egg was also his summon, and he was in fact not just a rare talent recorded in books, but in fact, a talent not even the books dared to record. 

Of course, she was partly true on the first part and was entirely wrong on the last part. 

The Unknown Egg had not grown this time but Ban could feel that it would soon grow again, maybe after it got today's fill.

After all, the Skill plundered was at random, so to increase his chances of getting a good Skill, it was better to use it on a Beast that has a good skill line up as well. And obviously, the Orc Lizard was not one of such Beasts.
