Young Master Gu, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 1417

Chapter 1417: Aiming The Gun At Him

Jun Xiqing quickly lowered her head and followed the other maids out.

A magnetic voice rang out. “You, stay behind.”

Jun Xiqing’s heart jumped. She immediately turned sideways and glanced at Lu Yeming, who was standing not far off from her. Those deep, almond-shaped eyes were fixed on her face.

He had ordered her to stay.

By now, the other maids had all left. Jun Xiqing put on a look of fear and respect. “Your Majesty, were you calling for me?”

Lu Yeming had one hand in his pocket. He indicated the cup of coffee with his eyes. “Bring that coffee to me.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Jun Xiqing went forward and took up the coffee, delivering it to his side. Taking the coffee, Lu Yeming elegantly took a few sips.

“Your Majesty, if there is nothing else, I will take my leave first.”

Lu Yeming raised his brows, giving her a cryptic look. “Why are you in such a hurry to leave?”

Jun Xiqing’s eyes flashed.

He raised his hand slowly, hooking her chin with his long fingers. “A servant girl like you, don’t you all wish to climb into your master’s bed? Why do I feel like… you are desperately trying to avoid me?”

Thud. Jun Xiqing’s heart sank and she put on a fearful expression. “Your Majesty, you must be joking. If my mistress knows that I… she will beat me to death.”

A smirk was the only response. Following that, he nonchalantly drew back his own hand. “Get out.”

“Yes.”

Jun Xiqing quickly left. Even after she closed the door, she could still feel those darkly arrogant eyes on her body.

Quiet steps brought Jun Xiqing down the corridor. It was completely quiet. A dead silence. As she walked, she scanned her surroundings, hoping to see her brother.

A black shadow flashed by. Someone else was here. Dongfang Yu had come.

Shrouded in the darkness, Dongfang Yu was wearing a black trench coat. His devilishly handsome face was steeped with roguish charm and an uninhibited sense of wantonness. His dark eyes shone with a perceptive sharpness.

“Baby?” Dongfang Yu looked at Jun Xiqing. He sized her up before laughing loudly. “Even when you were just a young girl, I already knew my baby would definitely grow up to be a gorgeous fairy. Indeed!”

The rims of Jun Xiqing’s eyes turned red and misty. Her gaze was fixed upon Dongfang Yu, not daring to move an inch. “Brother.”

With just one glance, she knew that this was her brother.

“Baby, why are you crying?” Dongfang Yu spread open his arms, warm and affectionate. “Come over here and let your brother hug you.”

With that, Jun Xiqing immediately threw herself into Dongfang Yu’s arms.

As Dongfang Yu hugged her, he wiped her tears. “You are already a grown-up, but still snivelling like a child.”

Jun Xiqing laughed and cried at the same time. She felt like she was in a dream. She really had a brother.

At this moment, a deep voice laced with amusement rang out. “Have you finished hugging? Dongfang Yu, take your hands off my woman.”

Jun Xiqing looked up. The quiet corridor was now filled with guards. They were completely surrounded.

Lu Yeming had come. He was walking over slowly with calm, heavy steps, as dignified as a God. His eyes were on Dongfang Yu’s hand, which was still holding Jun Xiqing’s cheek as he wiped away her tears.

Raised brows and terse lips were pressed together in displeasure. Dongfang Yu also raised one brow, as if having discerned something. He glanced from Lu Yeming to Jun Xiqing. “Baby, give your brother a kiss.”

Before Jun Xiqing could react, Lu Yeming was already glaring at her with cold malevolence. “I dare you to kiss him?”

Then Jun Xiqing stood on tiptoe and kissed Dongfang Yu on the cheek. Fan Men stole a peek at his Master. Lu Yeming’s face had turned black as ink and Fan Men broke out in cold sweat. Aiyo, someone would be in a jealous rage now.

Dongfang Yu put his hand on Jun Xiqing’s shoulder and he pulled her protectively into his arms. “Lu Yeming, this is my baby. What are you being jealous for?”

“A kiss and a hug is nothing. If Baby had grown up by my side, we would also be sleeping together.”

Sleeping together?

Lu Yeming was utterly disgusted by that phrase alone. This Dongfang Yu was a thorn in his side.

“Lu Yeming, don’t tell me you have fallen in love with my baby? If so, I am really sorry. I am taking my baby back to Jiu You. When we awaken the Bailing, my baby will ride the ancient beast across the wide earth, to become the new Jiu You Holy Lady. You aren’t worthy of her.”

“Brother, what is Bailing?” Jun Xiqing asked in puzzlement.

Dongfang Yu gazed at Jun Xiqing with doting eyes. “It is an ancient mythical beast. You can ride it and it will fly with you.”

“Really?” Jun Xiqing’s eyes brightened. She tugged at Dongfang Yu’s sleeve. “I want to take brother along when we fly.”

“You are such a good baby.”

“Flirting with each other in front of me like that, do you think I am invisible?” Lu Yeming’s voice was low and malicious.

Jun Xiqing glanced up at him.

Lu Yeming slowly reached out his hand toward her. “Qingqing. You still have one last chance. Come over her.”

But Jun Xiqing only shook her head. “Lu Yeming, let me go. Let me leave with my brother.”

“Not possible.”

“Lu Yeming, you have been full of schemes and made use of me right from the beginning. My brother is the only family I have. He is the one I love the most. I asked you if you loved me but you called me tiresomely greedy. You continue to harbor a love for your Sister Mo’er, not allowing me to disrespect her in any way. So put yourself in my shoes for once. If you dare to hurt my brother, I swear to take revenge on you one day.”

Lu Yeming’s eyes had turned as black as ink, like two bottomless, cold pits. Then he smirked again. “So you are saying you are not going to come?”

Jun Xiqing looked at him. “Yes, so what?”

Lu Yeming lifted his hand and Fan Men immediately drew out a gun. He aimed the nozzle straight at Dongfang Yu’s heart.

Amusement played upon his features, making him look exceptionally malicious. Lu Yeming nodded at Jun Xiqing. “Apart from me, no one is allowed any place in your heart. Since you already made your stance clear, I will… send a bullet through your brother’s heart today. To have him die right before your eyes.

“Qingqing, remember this. Your brother died because of you. Because of your disobedience. This is your punishment.”

Thud. Jun Xiqing’s heart had already turned cold, attacked by waves of pain such that it was nearly numb now. Never mind, she should have known that he was such a man.

He would act unscrupulously when she no longer loved him.
