Young Master Gu, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 1310 - Reunion (2)

Chapter 1310: Reunion (2)

“Scared away? Sisi, what did you do?”

Little Gu Sihan had an innocent expression on her face. “Mommy, trust me. I didn’t do anything, it’s all because Daddy is too stupid.”

“Gu Sihan!”

“Mommy, are you being fierce to your darling me because of your husband?”

The other end was silent for a moment. “Sisi, stop bullying your daddy. I’ll be back tomorrow.”

“Okay. Mwaa…” Little Gu Sihan gave her a goodbye kiss.

The village head prepared a dinner feast but Gu Mohan politely rejected him and didn’t turn up.

The island wasn’t developed yet so there weren’t any resorts for them to stay at. The village head took Gu Mohan to an ordinary house with three rooms. “President Gu, we don’t have the best conditions here, but please make do with it for now. This is the best place we can find now and there’s everything you need inside.”

The village head spoke carefully as he had realized that the man’s entire aura had turned frosty after he came out from the seashell house. Everyone was cautious, they didn’t even dare to breathe loudly, for fear that it would trigger him.

Gu Mohan pursed his lips. “Arrange for a meeting with that occupant.”

“President Gu, that occupant is currently not here. She will be back tomorrow.”

Gu Mohan knitted his brows, sending a glare in the village head’s direction.

“Village head, our President’s time is calculated by the second. If that occupant does not agree to move out, it will cause a delay in our development project. She requested to meet our President in person and he came, but now, she decides to not turn up on time? What does she want?”

The village head was extremely flustered and he stammered anxiously, “I-I don’t know too… President Gu, this house belongs to that occupant. How about you stay here for the night and we can discuss it more tomorrow…”

“Village head–”

“That’s enough,” Gu Mohan interrupted Yan Dong, “Let’s just wait until tomorrow. You can go back first, I want to have some rest.”

“Yes.”

Everyone left.

Gu Mohan entered the house, it was clean and tidy.

He walked over to the room on the east side, pushing open the door and he looked inside. It had pink, yellow and blue furnishings inside, everything was in pairs, with one adult size and one child size. Toothbrushes, cups, they were all cute looking and it seemed like a mother-daughter duo occupied the room.

This must be the occupant’s wife and daughter’s room.

Gu Mohan walked over to the room on the west side. It had been tidied up and there was a fresh set of male amenities. It seemed like it was prepared for him.

He stepped into the bathroom, taking a cold shower before he lay in bed and prepared to sleep.

The blanket smelled so good. It had that exact fragrance that was in the seashell house.

It was Tang Mo’er’s fragrance.

Gu Mohan closed his eyes. He was filled with hope today but was disappointed all over again. Now, he had no hope for the future at all.

He was certain that she wouldn’t come back.

But somehow, this place was filled with the exact fragrance that smelled like her. Every corner of this house smelled like her, even the blanket was filled with her scent.

He fell asleep in no time and had a dream.

He went back to three years ago when they last met at Country A’s Snow Mountain Residence. They were in the bathroom and she helped him scrub his back.

He held her in his arms, kissing her lips while breathing heavily. His mind preoccupied with one thing.

He wanted her.

But she didn’t grant his wishes, even biting on his lip.

He finally realized that she did everything on purpose. Men would only remember things that they wanted badly but couldn’t get their hands on.

She seduced him but didn’t let him have her.

Mo’er.

Mo’er!

Gu Mohan jolted awake.

This wasn’t his home, it was a cozy room with warm lights, unlike the darkness he would wake up to in the Capital.

He had forgotten to take sleeping pills.

It was strange. These past three years, he could not fall asleep without taking them, however, he could fall asleep here without taking any pills.

Gu Mohan moved, realizing that his body temperature was burning hot, as though his throat had been raked over hot charcoal.

He wanted to sit up, but he realized something.

His pants… were wet.

A few seconds later, Gu Mohan wiped his face, cursing inside. Sh*t!

He had a wet dream.

Gu Mohan looked at the ceiling, ever since he came here, he had been behaving abnormally. Lifting the blankets to check, thankfully, he hadn’t dirtied it.

This wasn’t his room, it would have been really awkward if he had dirtied it.

He went to the bathroom, taking another cold shower before changing into a clean set of clothes and he went back to lie on the bed.

He thought that he wouldn’t be able to fall asleep but he quickly drifted back to sleep again.

When Gu Mohan opened his eyes, it was already in the morning. The sun rays shone through the curtains.

It was his first time waking up this late in three years.

After the wet dream yesterday night, he had a good night’s sleep.

It was really strange.

Gu Mohan went to wash up and when he opened the door, Yan Dong and the village head were waiting outside. They had breakfast together.

“Village head, the occupant should be back by now right?” Yan Dong asked.

The village head took his phone out. “Give me some time, I’ll make a call and find out.”

The village head made the call and it was answered. The village head just nodded while hearing the person on the other end.

“President Gu, the occupant is only coming back in the afternoon. Please wait a while longer.”

Gu Mohan lifted his eyes, giving the village head an impassive glance. He seemed to have already predicted it.

“Secretary Yan.”

“Yes, President.”

Gu Mohan remained expressionless as he said, “We’ll leave at three on the dot.”

When it was three in the afternoon, the occupant still wasn’t back.

Gu Mohan put on his coat, the higher-ups followed behind him as they prepared to board the private jet.

The village head hurried behind him. “President Gu, the occupant is on the way back…”

Yan Dong blocked the village head away. “Village head, we don’t sense any sincerity. We’ll work with the local government and follow the law. We’re not going to force our way through, but if we give up on this project, other than the occupant, every family has to fork up a compensation sum that’s ten times the original amount we paid you. It’s not that much, just tens of million dollars per family.”

All the color drained from the village head’s face.

Gu Mohan went on the staircase with steady steps and he entered the jet. He left without a backward glance.

Suddenly, a familiar voice came from behind. “Mr Gu, please stop!”

This voice…

Yan Dong was stunned, he instantly lifted his head to look. When he took a clear look at the person, he gasped.

T-Tang Mo’er?

How could it be Tang Mo’er!

Gu Mohan suddenly froze, his feet felt so heavy that he couldn’t take a step forward. He finally understood why this place felt so strange to him.

It was because of her.

She was here!
