Chapter 513 The Gathering of Legends

Chapter 513 The Gathering of Legends

Tap, tap, tap.

The front lounge was a mess due to all of the broken pieces of debris.

The soldiers dressed in hazard suits glanced toward the entrance with anticipation and optimism because they believed their reinforcements had finally come.

Isaac furrowed his brow and felt that the weight on his shoulders was getting steadily worse.

Tap, tap, tap.

A solitary man walked through the damaged door and entered the front lounge of the building while brushing the dirt off of his big shoulders. Because of that one action, there was an unexplainable weight in the air, as if they were standing in front of someone they shouldn’t mess with.

He had blond hair cut short, and his facial characteristics were prominent. His physique was that of a lean, athletic build, and when combined with his trim mustache, he gave off the impression of being an upstanding gentleman.

However, he was wearing a black tracksuit and sneakers, which somewhat detracted from his otherwise good appearance.

“Hmmm, he seems to be familiar…” The man with the horse face mumbled something.

“Ugh…” Kiryu rose up while still smoldering from his charred chest wound. He got into his combat stance, which was unsteady.

Isaac furrowed his brow and aimed the Silvernium at the individual with blond hair. The Silvercloud aimed in the direction of the man with the horse face.

Tap, tap, tap.

Impatiently waiting for something, the man with blond hair tapped his feet restlessly against the ground.

Then, they could hear the second set of footsteps coming from the outside, and a man with white hair followed closely after the other man with blonde hair while he sighed quietly.

The man with blond hair turned a sideways glance in the direction of the man with gray hair.

The man with gray hair appeared to be a little bit exhausted. He wore a button-down shirt with long sleeves and a dark navy blue tint. The collar was tidy, and there were beginnings of a beard growing on his chin. His gray eyes didn’t seem to have any appeal.

“Who the hell are you all?!” The man with the horse’s face yelled in a menacing tone, “Are you with him?!”

He wavered his index finger and pointed it in Isaac’s direction.

‘So, they are not with them,’ Isaac muttered something to himself inside his head.

Tap, tap, tap.

Another figure materialized from the outside, and this time it was a strikingly good-looking man with raven hair and almond-shaped blue eyes.

His eyes welled up with amazement when he finally took in the scene inside the front lounge.

His stunning blue eyes seemed to reflect an image of Isaac, who was standing there with his pistol pointed in their direction.

“Wraith?!” He spoke loudly in amazement.

“Wraith?” A look of surprise appeared on the face of the man with blond hair as he looked at Isaac. He could not contain his astonishment as he caressed his light beard.

The gray-haired man slowly opened his fatigued eyes and foggily saw Isaac’s tall figure.

“Who are you?” Isaac looked across at the three of them and made a frowning face. He had the distinct impression that he had encountered that voice in the past, but he could not recognize it.

The individual with the raven hair kept his lips slightly sealed because there were still people dressed in hazard suits present.

“Hahahaha!” Everyone’s attention got drawn to the balcony on the second level, where a very good-looking man with blond hair had suddenly materialized.

“Arthur!” The man with the horse’s face yelled out in surprise.

Kiryu instantly assumed his position and cast a venomous stare in Arthur’s direction.

Arthur reached into the front pocket of his jacket, drew out a cigarette, and lit it. Then, while looking down at the men dressed in hazmat suits, he let out a plume of smoke.

“Can you leave? I am going to have a meeting with these four interesting individuals.” He asked in a respectful manner, but the horse-faced man’s heart skipped a beat at the sound of his voice.

The man with the horse face retreated a few paces, but as he did so, thoughts of his superiors began to emerge into his consciousness. They took great precautions to ensure that everyone he knew would be put to death if he ever made a single retreat.

He clenched his teeth and yelled, “Kill him!”

“Kill?” The man with the raven hair appeared to be taken aback. He couldn’t help but wonder what the devil was going on.

The soldiers dressed in protective gear had their rifles focused on Arthur, and they were about to pull the trigger on their weapons.

However, at that point, the man with blond hair lunged with incredible speed and grabbed all of the guns. He came to a stop next to the elevators and threw the guns down the elevator shaft.

“W-What?!” The man with the horse face yelled out in utter disbelief, “C-Chain Breaker?! “

“Sigh…” The man with blond hair ran his hand through his hair in a smooth and deliberate manner.

[Name: King Xerxus]

[Legacy: Mercury, God of Speed]

[Legacy Rank: Godly]

“Damn!” Kiryu drew back his fist and then sprinted in the direction of King Xerxus.

However, Isaac quickly adjusted his aim and fired the trigger after making the adjustment.

Bang!

Kiryu’s leg got pierced by the bullet, which caused him to fall to the ground on his head.

Bam!

“Ugh…” Kiryu gradually lost consciousness as his eyes began to roll in the opposite direction.

King Xerxus cast a sidelong glance in Isaac’s direction and arched an eyebrow.

“Do something!” The man with the horse’s face yelled at his subordinates, who were stunned and unsure what they were supposed to do in response.

“Nah, go sleep.” The man with gray hair approached them while producing long whips of a crimson color from his fingers. He then used the whips to bind the men in the hazard suits in a secure manner.

The men dressed in protective gear could feel the red whips firmly digging into their flesh, making it impossible for them to even move because doing so would have resulted in an excruciating amount of pain.

The man with gray hair shrugged his shoulders and continued walking past the men who were confined. He gazed unruffled towards Arthur, who mirrored his own state of composure and ease.

[Name: Lord Amour]

[Legacy: Ares, God of War]

[Legacy Rank: Godly]

“AAHHH!” The man with the horse’s face sobbed and screamed at the same time. He remained encircled by the crimson rope, which caused his flesh to get somewhat scorched.

The door to the front lounge was finally opened by the very last individual. The man with raven hair walked around the front lounge with a perplexed expression on his face. He had a feeling of lightheadedness, and his throat was slightly dry.

[Name: Lord Kalzer]

[Legacy: Odin, the Allfather]

[Legacy Rank: Godly]

“It would appear that you four have understood what I was trying to convey. Wraith, Xerxus, Amour, and Kalzer,” Arthur said with a smile of pleased surprise on his face.

“Kalzer?” Isaac stared at the man with the raven hair in utter bewilderment. It was the first time he had seen the man’s face.

Before returning his attention to Arthur, Kalzer cast a quick sideways glance in the direction of Isaac.

“What were you thinking when you invited us all here?” Xerxus questioned as he observed the formerly dark sky gradually becoming brighter. They got the letter the night before, and due to the distance between White Paradise and where they were, everyone had to arrive here using a separate mode of transportation.

They had the impression that the blank letter wasn’t an accident, and they had a bad sense in their hearts that if they waited for even one night longer, something that they would come to deeply regret would occur.

Therefore, in order to reach this location, Xerxus had to journey all the way here from his hometown, which took him across multiple continents. Despite his superspeed, it took him a number of hours to complete the task.

Both Lord Amour and Lord Kalzer used teleportation pearls.

“Well, to provide a response to that question… It is imperative that we relocate to a secure location.” Arthur glared at the man with the horse’s head and scowled as he did so. Because he wanted the invitation to the four guys to remain completely covert, he snapped his fingers, and immediately, air blades materialized behind him and slashed through the air.

The air blades swiftly terminated the lives of the individuals who were wearing hazmat suits by cutting through their throats.

The four men’s eyes widened in shock.

“I’m sorry, but I had no choice but to do it. I will explain the reason later, but for the time being, just follow me.” After turning around, Arthur started walking up to the top floor.
