The aura surrounding this crew should have deterred anyone from approaching but in a town that relied heavily on shaking the pockets of visitors how could no one have the guts.

As they walked down the road through the market square decorated with orange lanterns and ribbons a sedan chair blocked their path and from inside emerged a pretty young woman with a face of a goddess and the aura of a spoilt brat. With the help of her servants, she got off the sedan and slowly approached the visitors with a sweet smile on her face.

She directly walked to the one who caught her eye the most which in this case was Rui Fei. She casually passed her greetings welcoming them to Lequ but her flirtatious gaze remained on Rui Fei making even Lady Ching Sei uncomfortable.

Leering at someone handsome was fine but gawking at them like a hungry wolf ready to pounce on prey was a little too revealing. "May this young miss interest you fine gentlemen and ladies to the best of Lequ. Whatever activity you are interested in we will provide it to the best of our abilities," she said opening her fan for no good reason as she glanced over Rui Fei's body, "we have something for everyone be it food, gambling, women and alcohol, take your pick. We have it all and this young miss can show you around."

As she said this she shut her fan and lightly brushed it against Rui Fei's arm as though accidental but it was no accident. When she shifted her gaze upwards Rui Fei who had been standing right next to her was suddenly pulled away and now stood behind the man in a veil.

Ji Yao had endured enough of her disgusting behaviour and couldn't help but reach out to grasp Rui Fei's wrist before pulling Rui Fei behind him. You would think after this she would understand Ji Yao's meaning and back off but she wasn't as smart as she looked.

The smile on her face froze for a moment before returning back to normal. She smacked her fan on her palm and said, "My apologies, this young miss didn't know he was a minor. Are you his father?"

Cause of death: Struck by a lightning storm after flirting with the Pirate king's boyfriend and calling him Rui Fei's father.

That's exactly what it would say at her gravestone. In fact, there won't even be a body to bury because she would have been struck until what was left of her was a handful of ashes.

A deadly aura was already surrounding Ji Yao as he glowered at that stupid woman through his veil. Inside his clenched fist sparks were already accumulating and he was seriously on the verge of knocking a few teeth out of this woman.

Since she was a weak half Nocru he would use just the right amount of energy to keep her from getting out of bed for a couple of months and with her teeth knocked out she won't be seducing other people's boyfriends after that.

Ji Yao actually took a step forward as the rest of the crew took a not so obvious step back. They all knew what was about to happen neither did they want to stop him just in case they get implicated. It was Rui Fei who held Ji Yao's hand trying to calm him down but the youth forgot he had his own crimes he was still been punished for.

"Are you protecting her," he said in a tone so vicious it made Huishe Yue vow to buy his nephew protection talismans since he was prone to infuriating his future wife with ease.

Ji Yao knew he was being unreasonable but since when has anyone in love been a hundred per cent reasonable?

He took his hand back from Rui Fei and walked past the girl. When he passed her a deadly chill spread all over her body making her blood run cold. She obviously had no idea who she had offended but she was suddenly terrified for her life.

Lucky for her, her father who also happened to be the overseer of this humble town was well aware of her daughter's talent of easily offending people and that Red Bane was anchored at their shores had already run over.

Unfortunately for him, he was a little late. His daughter had already managed to offend Ji Yao and just like his father he was a little petty. There was a long list of things that Ji Yao could indirectly do to this town without lifting a finger. If Ji Wen could cripple the imperial city and sink their fleet with no hesitation then how about a small town?

The balding middle-aged man kowtowed before Ji Yao sincerely apologizing. He was even using formal language as though speaking to an emperor which startled the servants and the ashen-faced young miss who had just been scared to death by a walking vinegar jar.

"At least he knows who really runs Hyesong," said Big Hei as he moved forward grabbing the man by the back of his collar pulling him up.

Xunshi Zhe moved his battle-axe from his shoulders and said, "If you know who your true is king then why do you pay tribute to the imperial city instead, huh?" with a sly smile on his face.

As a professional brown-nosing person the man stammered, "I-it's a mi-mistake on my part, I, I can," before he was cut off by Zhang Li. 

"Your daughter not only disrespected our King but she also insulted our future queen which is very unacceptable. According to our rules, it's either we leave with her head or you show us your true sincerity. Exquisite accommodations, a generous feast and lots of wine might do the job," he explained before smacking the man in the face twice.

Of course, the overseer could meet these requirements so he hurriedly nodded his head with no second thought. He only had this one child as his swimmers were not so vigorous enough.

If she died then that would be the end of his family line. How would he be able to answer to his ancestors when he dies. This is why the young miss of Lequ was arrogant and an expert at snatching things from others.

"And half your treasury as well," said Ji Yao before walking away. He had no intention of staying in this town overnight but now that they had this offer he felt like his crew needed this.

Pirates will always be pirates no matter how educated or handsome. Because of his daughter's behaviour, he had lost half the family treasure in one go. How could he not punish her after they get home?

Rui Fei rushed after Ji Yao and when he caught up with him he walked so close that his fingers would accidentally brush against the back of Ji Yao's hand.

Ji Yao's body stiffen when he felt those warm fingertips touch his skin but he didn't expose the youth. It actually made him feel a little better. At least his cub still knew to appease him.
