Yeah, no one would be able to do their work properly after that. It's actually quite a surprise that Red Bane hadn't gotten into an accident after all that blinding romance. One has to understand where Old Du was coming from to fully grasp the seriousness of this situation.

For the past eighteen years, Ji Yao had been the aloof ice-cold prince type of person. Even in the presence of Ji Wen the air of indifference on his face remained unchanged though his attitude towards his father was different from the rest.

Now take that very person and set them alongside this Ji Yao who wouldn't throw a fuss when Rui Fei touched him. And that kid surely touched Ji Yao a lot abusing the single dogs on Red Bane. This is why Old Du started a petition, as to whether Ji Yao would listen or not that is yet to be determined.

Ji Yao who was unaware that an embarrassing petition was about to circulate among his crew was busy trying to remain lucid. The way Rui Fei touched him drove him insane.

"I want you to write something for me," he whispered in a low sultry voice that could have revved Rui Fei's engine if it weren't for the unusual request. He was expecting anything that involved him eating tofu but now he was stuck doing homework.

'Note to self, never let Ji Yao make this kind of decision ever again,' he thought to himself feeling like he had lost greatly.

Ji Yao was also embarrassed but he wanted to know what kind of handwriting Rui Fei had. Yes, he would be categorized as a nerd in this era or maybe a graphophile in the community of people with unique fetishes.

Rui Fei couldn't refute that. He just had to accept that he was going to do homework as payment for his valuable information. "Sure..... I, will, write, so-something for you," he stiffly replied wishing he could turn back time. This hatchling hadn't fully grasped the countless opportunities that could arise from this. Ji Yao nervously licked his bottom lip wishing he could bury his head in sand like an ostrich. Rui Fei tried not to look but he ended up sighing in exasperation. He wanted to kiss this man so bad but that would equate to signing his death warrant.

"Then tell me..... what's your plan," said Ji Yao curious to know how Rui Fei could help.

Rui Fei didn't want to keep thinking about his losses so he began to explain. In the past when he was looking for Ji Yao he could subtly sense his presence but his aether wasn't strong enough to find him this way. Thus Rui Fei at that time resorted to seeking him out through his dreams.

Now that he can transform into his true form meant he could actually find the person he is looking for by sensing their seraphic energy. The moment they engage their aether Rui Fei could sniff them out like a hound as long as he was exposed to their seraphic energy before face to face.

The only exception were people more powerful than himself and someone like Ji Wen who even the all seer couldn't find. He was like a living tracking system for half Nocru and Nocru alike. As for his father, the now Emperor Rui he was very difficult to find mainly because he uses plundered seraphic energy from his offspring which was hard to detect.

"So how are you going to keep track of Qilin Kai when they separate from the pair from hell," asked Ji Yao trying to stop himself from asking several other burning questions. If he goes down that rabbit hole then he might lose focus of what they are discussing right now.

Rui Fei smiled slyly with a raised brow before looking back at Rui Yewan beckoning him over with his fingers. Rui Yewan who was finally part of the boys club couldn't help but hurry over with a spring in his step. Once he got there he looked back at Rui Li who was sitting on the floor staring at him with an envious gaze.

She also wanted to stand next to her CP and bask in their glorious dog food but she wasn't invited. Well, invitation or not she would essentially invite herself.

Rui Fei stood next to Ji Yao with his arm draped around Ji Yao's shoulder in a possessive manner. His expression was especially relaxed, more relaxed than he had ever been.

Rui Yewan was so happy with his in-law. His ability to tame this older brother of his was exceptional. But this wasn't the right time to brown-nose his in law and praise him to the high heavens.

"Do you remember when you replicated that trinket Rui Li loved so much and gave it to the merchant who had been harassing us for it for weeks," asked Rui Fei while leaning his head against Ji Yao's? The two of them looked nothing like close friends or brothers rather a pair of lovers smitten with each other.

"Oh, that one. Hahaha, you gave that merchant plenty of nightmares that he started pestering us days after that to take it back." You would think this response must have come from Rui Yewan but the tone and voice weren't his.

This response undoubtedly came from Rui Li who at some point had shown up and sat there cross-legged while staring at her CP like a crazed fan.

Rui Yewan couldn't believe it. When it was his time to shine and prove he could do more and take up challenging tasks Rui Li showed up and took over his moment. Rui Yewan wasn't nice about it whispering to her through gritted teeth, "Boys only."

Rui Li ignored him as though he was talking to air and said, "Please carry on, don't mind me."

"Yeah, I remember. Do you want me to replicate something?" asked Rui Yewan now treating his sister as air as well.

"En, but is there something Qilin Kai won't be able to resist? Something that if he sees it on that weirdo he will want it?" The four of them..... okay, three of them fell into deep contemplation all apart from Rui Li who was calculating the probability of having his brother stand even closer to Ji Yao till their bodies were plastered together.

But all her hopes were doused with ice-cold water when Ji Yao suddenly moved as he declared, "I got just the thing," before leading the way.

Rui Li, "..." 'Bloody hell, it was just a few more inches,' thought Rui Li but she wasn't the only one thinking that.

'Damn, just a few inches and I would have kissed the back of his neck," was Rui Fei's thought as he watched that licentious figure walk away.. Ji Yao was seriously driving him bonkers.
