Chapter 153 - Rui Fei, The Definition Of Shameless

Shameless!

The meaning of the word is a person or their conduct being characterized by or showing a lack of shame, barefaced or brazen. Knowing that definition the real question would be, " was Rui Fei shameless or not?"

I mean he could have changed directions when he followed behind so he could reach the ground at a reasonable distance away from Ji Yao? Yes ..... maybe. I guess if he could control his momentum he could also control his direction of fall.

Well, did he think of changing directions? Probably not. As a lovestruck fool, his IQ was already low enough when it comes to everything to do with Ji Yao. His IQ would go offline with a 404 error. Let's just conclude that this was accidentally on purpose..

Ji Yao couldn't stand that look on his face. He looked like a kid who had won a trophy in preschool. Ji Yao set his eyes on the creature trembling on the ground otherwise he might get angrier than necessary if he kept looking at Rui Fei.

This black-bellied youth even went as far as suggesting that Ji Yao should kiss him back to make it even. Where was the logic in that? As mentioned before, Rui Fei intelligence went offline ages ago.

Ji Yao reached over to the creature by the collar intending to drag it towards that Hundun and end this fight but Rui Fei held his hand and said, "Don't touch dirty things..... let me handle it."

The so-called dirty thing, "...."

Ji Yao didn't refute his words. He also didn't want to touch this stinky thing but he just wanted to keep himself occupied and not look at Rui Fei. He sheathed his sword and said nothing before taking off like his ass was on fire.

Watching the departing back of this cute bunny Rui Fei was smitten thinking lascivious thoughts in his mind that is if you consider hugging Ji Yao from behind lascivious.

While Rui Fei was admiring a wonderful view the creature thought it could slip away while he was distracted but Rui Fei seemed like he had eyes at the back of his head.

A grey fog grabbed the neck of the creature and squeezed it tightly till its eyeballs looked like they were going to pop out.

He seriously wanted to strangle the creature for what happened earlier but he couldn't. He still needed it to kill that Hundun so he couldn't finish it off right now. Turning on his heel he followed behind Ji Yao only to have his body blasted off into the distance by a powerful force.

A thicker cloud of dust rose to the sky blurring everyone's vision. Within the cloud of dust, a pair of bright blue eyes were the only thing visible. The pair of eyes were looking right at Rui Fei with an ominous air to them. He had been blown back a few feet but he still stood his ground.

Clenching his fists he readied himself for battle but before Qilin Kai could launch an attack a large Huishe with black scales charged at Qilin Kai like a missile throwing him off balance.

Qilin Kai wasn't too pleased about the sneak attack but when he sensed Huishe Yue's seraphic energy, he was suddenly pumped up for a fight. He abruptly stood up from the ground and shook his body in agitation with his blue eyes fixed on Huishe Yue.

The two had nothing to discuss. The reason for the animosity were clear and there was no need to worst precious time talking. A chilling smirk appeared on Qilin Kai's face revealing the sharp canines you never see when he is in his human form. But the cunning vile look was ever present even in his Qilin form.

He licked his front teeth before lunging at Huishe Yue. When the two nocru clashed an explosive amount of seraphic energy was released disturbing the environment but the two could care less.

Huishe Yue lunged at him going straight for the throat. When he thought of his sister who died under the hands of that tyrant he gave it everything he got as though fighting to the death. All those years of being locked up could not compare to the pain of not being able to protect his sister.

Sure, at least she left an offspring that he could take care of but the conditions of Rui Fei's birth were nothing to be proud of. Qilin Kai didn't directly hurt his sister but he facilitated her assault and eventual death which meant he didn't plan on letting him go.

Qilin Kai dodged those sharp teeth and spat out three fiery spheres aiming for Huishe's eye. The serpent's tail spun around and struck the fire balls dispelling them into thin air. Qilin Kai took advantage of the situation he rushed over and struck him with his antlers piercing his skin. Huishe Yue was pushed back but he didn't care for his injuries.

The two Nocru engaged in a heated battle involving innocent bystanders like Rui Fei and the creature he had by the neck. Rui Fei managed to get away from the battlefront with great difficulty.

He rushed over in Ji Yao's direction with the creature still under his control. Ji Yao was heading straight for the Hundun that had lost its biggest challenger and was now wreaking havoc at the rest of his crew.

Ji Yao drew his sword and a blazing electric flame spread across the blade to its tip that was extending into a whip.

He cracked that whip wrapping it around the Hundun's body before tugging on it. The only reason why he managed to capture it was that it had been worn down from the ceaseless fighting.

It had already suffered under Ji Yao and Huishe Yue's constant attack. It also had to fend off people like Rui Li whose attacks were vicious and Rui Yewan's unending nightmare attacks among many so it was worn out.

This meant Ji Yao could easily hook it with his sword. As he tugged at it the Hundun felt so agitated it set off a shock wave trying to create some distance between it and its enemies. This was to buy itself time while it fought off the source of its problem, Ji Yao.

A strong tremor shook the ground at a high magnitude but Ji Yao stood his ground. He fully engaged his aether refusing to be moved. He tugged at it even harder as Rui Fei arrived with his new best friend. Rui Fei didn't waste time.
