Luciliano and Verto were good friends since childhood.
Both of them were children born already after the Apocalypse appeared, within Sector D.
They were from poor families, and often envied those that belonged to rich families or were children of high-ranked Hunters.
However, through hard work alone, they practiced and sued their Skills for combat, and slowly began to gather Cores.
At some point, they reached E-Rank, and at the same time, they joined Military School.
In this world, the strong devour the weak, and one needed to be selfish to survive.
Although they were good friends in between the two, to anyone else that was not stronger than them, they were their worst nightmare.
Bullying, extortion, even thievery.
In their childhood, they had resorted to all these things to survive, and even in school, they did it daily.
The only reason why they did not target Noah was that he was already being targeted by an already bigger shot, Fernand Firebrand.
But well.
Who cares about them anyway?
For Noah, they were nothing but fodder.
And they could also be a good way to finally experiment with his Blood Servant Ability!
Noah smiled at the two…
The student known as the Useless who did not even have an Ability or the System smiled at them and even provoked them!
"So? What are you waiting for? Are you all bark and no bite? Come on, do your worst…" said Noah.
"Eh?! You fucking bastard! Alright, let's fucking kill him!" roared Verto, raising his spear!
"Yeah, I don't care if he is a classmate or whatever… it is not like this freaking school wasn't all about killing each other to be recruited by the government, right?" asked Lucilano.
Noah realized that these two had kind of figured out how this place worked.
"Hm… Just because you surprised me a bit there, I will handicap myself. I shall not use any Skill to defeat both of you," said Noah.
"Handicap? Skills? Do not talk shit out of your ass! I know that you don't have any power!" roared Verto, rushing towards Noah while coating himself in green winds and enhancing his spear.
"Let's see if you can even handle one hit from us!" laughed Luciliano, raising his black sword as darkness began to flow out of it!
"Noah-sama… Are you okay with that?" asked Arthur through telepathy.
"You don't have to handicap yourself, we can easily dispose of them for you…" said Timassa through telepathy.
"Don't worry, take care of their party, wipe them out," said Noah, as Iris, Timassa, Arthur, Adamantine, and Jon rushed towards the rest of Luciliano and Verto's party who were smiling as their two leaders went to slaughter Noah!
Luciliano and Verto's weapons reached Noah, as they unleashed an explosion of emerald winds and dark shadows, clashing against his body and torso into a loud explosion!
BOOM!
"Haha! So weak, he probably died instantly!" laughed Luciliano.
"Yeah, this shithead is already fucking dead," said Verto.
The two thugs laughed as they imagined Noah's body, being torn apart and bleeding into the ground like a mush of torn apart flesh…
"Is that so?"
But Noah was standing still, smiling at them.
In fact, he was laughing.
Luciliano and Verto quickly noticed that their weapons were stuck.
The two thugs glanced at Noah's hands, which had caught the spear and sword of Luciliano and Verto with his bare hands, using his very fingers to catch the tips of the weapons with enormous strength.
"W-What?" asked Luciliano.
"That's… He's… using his fingers?!" asked Verto.
Both thug's eyes were almost popping out of their eye sockets, as they glanced at Noah's insane display of immense strength.
Alongside this, his crimson aura began to coat their bodies, as an immense fear took their entire souls by surprise!
They were battling something way too strong… way too insane, way too wicked!
A monstrosity!
Noah smiled wickedly, as he promised, he was not using any Skill at all!
He was simply using the inherent power of a Vampire at Level III, and his C-Rank Stats!
That was enough to completely ridicule these two thugs!
"What's wrong? I see that you are rather scared…" said Noah.
"Ah…! DON'T FUCK WITH ME!" roared Verto, taking out his spear was Noah shattered the tip!
Crash!
"AH?!"
"Hm, you might become a good lancer…" said Noah while rubbing his chin, as he directed his hands with his black nails towards Verto's throat!
Crash!
"A-Ahggghh! Mmggffgghhh…!"
Noah grabbed Verto's neck with his hands, raising him above the ground.
"How does it feels, huh? How does it feel to become the one being ridiculed? How does it feel to be the one being trampled?" asked Noah, as he glanced at the agonizing and twisting face of Verto as he gasped for air!
"Mmmfffgggooohh…!"
Suddenly, Verto tried to release a burst of winds towards Noah, but the attack was blocked by his own clothes…
Because these clothes, were in fact, Noah's blood.
Through the use of Blood Armor, he was now able to merge his blood with his clothes and make extra-resistant armor clothes.
The measly attack of an E-Rank was nothing.
Crack, crack!
"GRRAAAAGGAAAGGGHHH!"
Verto struggled to breathe as the pain of Noah's hands crushing his neck took hold of his senses!
"Verto…! LET HIM GO!" roared Luciliano, raising his blade towards Noah, as Noah let him take it away.
CLASH!
Noah simply gave a swipe of his free hand and shattered the blade that Luciliano carried, grabbing his neck as well with immense speed!
Now… he was grabbing both with his bare hands, crushing their necks like lowly creatures that were only good for a small meal!
As if they were tiny, and trembling rabbits, left hopeless and in complete despair for their agonizing death!
"NNGRAAAGAGGHHH…!"
"MMMGGGOOOGGHH…!"
Noah smiled wickedly, as he saw both students die agonizingly, slowly but steadily crushing their necks, as their lifeless bodies fell into the ground…
Noah glanced at the two corpses rather complacently.
"Don't worry, you're getting to work immediately… Rise," said Noah, as his crimson eyes flashed with glowing red light!
Flash!
Suddenly, from within Noah's hands, a ray of crimson light fell over Luciliano's corpse, encompassing it, and filling it!
The blood within the corpse started to tremble, as something phantasmal started to gather around it!
Clack!
However, it suddenly stopped…
Ding!

"It failed in my first one…" thought Noah, as his eyes squinted.
Putting more of his intent into it, Noah once more activated Blood Servant, as the flash of red light took ahold of Luciliano's body again!

However, it once again failed!

"What? …Once more," said Noah, as he tried once more, he concentrated all of his aura and soul into using this Skill, pouring more and more mana!
Flash!
The crimson light took hold of Luciliano's corpse, as the light started to make the blood move around!
Phantasmal, crimson energy started to gather within the corpse, as the blood fused with it and began to form a figure!
All of the corpse's blood was extracted, leaving a mummified carcass, as a new and humanoid figure emerged, made entirely out of a crimson phantom and blood flowing all around it!
The figure slowly formed more detailed, as it resembled Luciliano but made of pure blood and coated in crimson phantasmagoric essence.
Even a spear emerged in the right hand of the Blood Servant, as it kneeled before Noah.
Noah could not help but smile due to the amazing feat!
Blood Servant was an amazing Skill!

"Normal Grade… I suppose it is the lowest. However, it should be able to grow on its own just by fighting, as it was stated by the Skill description…" thought Noah.

"Name? …Lance," said Noah, glancing at the lance and simply calling Luciliano's Blood Servant as Lance instead of his former name.
Flash!
Suddenly, Lance received its name, as it was hit with a wave of new strength!
Its appearance changed slightly, as it gained an armor of hardened, crystallized blood and its mass seemed stronger as if it had become more muscular yet it retained its slim figure.
"Oh? It became stronger. Now that's quite the surprise…" thought Noah.
