Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

As Noah and the rest of the party rested, the Giant Sand Worms immediately began to appear, furiously assaulting them and interrupting their meal!

Noah and the rest quickly set into another deadly battle, however, this time the Giant Sand Worms were not alone, as they brought new friends!

Noah and the rest flew high into the skies, as they saw two gigantic insect jaws emerge from the sand!

"An… Antlion?!" asked Arthur in surprise.

Antlions were special types of insects in Earth's past, who specialized in creating traps in the ground, using their gigantic jaws to grab any little bug that walked into their traps, often made into pits that made it hard for the creatures that entered to get out of it.

However, the antlions in this dungeon were fairly different.

First of all, they were gigantic!

The smallest one was at least ten meters big!

And the rest were around 7 to 9 meters!

They had dived into the sands and deposited their jaws around the Giant Sand Worms… seemingly attacking whenever anyone came closer to them.

They would dart into their prey, jumping off the sand and frenetically catching their prey!

But for some reason, they cooperated with the Giant Sand Worms, most likely out of desperation, or some kind of effect that caused monsters to always cooperate within Dungeons!

After all, all monsters inside dungeons always felt this instinctual desire to kill any invaders that entered their domain, sometimes they would not even be hungry or anything, it was a strange order set deep within their minds that they could not easily fight against!

However, that was not everything, as more armies of bug insects emerged from the sands, this time, giant, black-colored scorpions with exaggeratedly long tails and sharp stingers, resembling whips!

"Oh? They brought their entire party here! Let us give them a good greeting!" said Noah, leading his group as they evaded frenetically the attacks of the Giant Sand Worms rushing towards them like enormous predatory beasts, their jaws almost biting them while evading and attacking them from the distance!

However, as they flew around, the Antlions quickly perceived them, leaping out of the ground as they revealed their gigantic bodies and enormous jaws, which were deadlier than the Giant Sand Worms!

However, Noah charged his mana into his Soul Weapon and unleashed his newly acquired Skill!

"Crimson Sea Snake King!"

"GROWL!"

Suddenly, a gigantic and long sea snake made entirely out of crimson liquid emerged out of Noah's Soul Weapon, as it grew in size thanks to Noah's constant Mana, it entangled the Antlion while being in midair, and began to bite its large head, tearing apart its hard exoskeleton and then falling back into the sand, as both beasts frantically fought against each other!

Clash! Boom! Crash!

However, the Antlion was superior, beating and destroying the Crimson Sea Snake King, as Noah sensed that the creature died, and he recovered some of the Mana that was making it.

"Not as strong as I imagined, but… there is a plus! I can simply summon it again!" thought Noah, as he summoned the creature once more, fighting against a Giant Sand Worm that emerged near him, entangling its head for Iris to use her knives around the creature's eyes, tearing them apart and making oozy green blood explode out of them!

Slash! CRASH!

The frantic and insane battle in the dunes continued, as Adamantine leaped like a demon made of shadows towards the wounded Sand Worm, breaking apart its flesh and eating it as she broke it apart and filled it with holes through consecutively conjuring her shadow bullets over the open wounds!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Grooooowl!"

The Giant Sand Worm cried in agony, dying in the spot and exploding into black smoke, only for two more Giant Sand Worms to take their place and rush towards Noah and the rest!

However, that was not everything, as the Giant Black Scorpions began to use their tails as long whips, trying to attack Noah's party with poisonous whips!

Clash! Clash! Clash!

And from below, the Antlions waited patiently for the time to strike, they not only had to evade the frantic attacks of the giant Sand Worms and the Giant Black Scorpions but also to evade the possible surprise attack of the Antlions!

This battle would be seen as hopeless by anyone other than Noah and his group!

But this was the path they had chosen, these were the immense challenges they needed to get through to achieve their far-away goals… they had already done it several times before, reaching D-Rank… now, the opportunity to reach C-Rank was right here, and it was by beating these fiends to death!

Even if they had to roar in pain and anger, even if their flesh flew away into pieces and regenerated over and over again, every member of Noah's group gnashed their teeth and roared furiously, fighting with everything they had!

Not only their progenitor was roaring furiously as it broke through the Giant Sand Worms flesh and dispatched them into explosions of blood, but all of them were fighting monstrously, even Arthur quickly began to use more and more of his saved-up power, unleashing everything he had to make a difference!

Blood and pieces of flesh flew through the air, as Iris and Adamantine crushed the head of an Antlion while Arthur, Timassa, and Jon diminished a giant Black Scorpion after Noah sliced off its tail and stinger!

Big Sis, Sakura, and Sugar had also been called out into this battle, as they combined their strength and unleashed ice, shadows, and blight towards their enemies, while Big Sis also use her potent Light Bullets to tear through the hard, chitinous exoskeletons of these arthropod creatures!

Sakura's ice became very ineffective against a place filled with the heat of the sun, so she simply used her modified sword made out of her won body and defended with her force shield, every time her weapons of body parts broke apart, she regenerated them back while absorbing the pieces of flesh that were magic materials for her, going back into the fight!

Timassa flew into the sky, pointing her arrow towards her enemy while falling from the sky!

FLASH!

An enormous arrow made of black thunder fell over a giant Antlion's head, blasting it away into pieces, the creature was already on death's door as Noah's Crimson Sea Snake King was fighting against it!

BOOM!

"Good job!" said Arthur, flying near Timassa.

"There are more left, and they keep coming! Keep fighting!" roared Iris at the side of Adamantane and Noah, as the trio of claw-users slashed through their enemies as Iris and Noah also added some blood weapons to the mix, ending with Noah using Blood Combustion into the open wounds of these giant monsters!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"We did it!" said Iris, as suddenly, a gigantic Antlion emerged within the chaotic and insane battlefield, reaching towards her as its jaws broke through her flesh!

However, Iris simply smiled as she used her nails to penetrate the Antlion's eyes, making them bleed as its jaws lost their grip!

Iris was freed from the moment after, drinking some blood and recovering right after, as she saw Adamantine, and Noah combine their strength to blast the Antlion's head into pieces!

Clash!

Thanks to Iris's amazing self-regeneration, Noah did not even have to worry so much about her receiving large wounds, as she and the others could always regenerate quickly through drinking blood!

The group of vampires kept abusing such overpowered Skills, as they broke through the enemies once and for all, battling the last stand of Giant Desert Insects!

The last group standings were three Giant Sand Worm Leader and four Giant Black Scorpions Leaders, larger and deadlier versions of their normal selves, who immediately rushed against Noah and the rest of his party!

The Giant Sand Worm Leaders unleashed acidic rain attacks or acidic poison bullets towards the vampires, who tanked them through their blood shields materializing blood or Noah's own body and blood armor!

Like an army of vicious predators, Noah led his group and quickly overwhelmed the Giant Sand Worm Leaders one by one breaking their exoskeletons, cracking them into pieces, and then slashing and dealing deep wounds, not the tender and slim flesh below such hard chitinous armor!

And after that, the last Giant Scorpion Leaders were mercilessly torn apart by constant long-ranged attacks and the bites of the Crimson Sea Snake Emperor!

Poof! Poof! Poof!

The last corpses turned into black smoke, revealing beautiful Cores left behind, the party sighed in relief, however, something bigger emerged right after, the entire desert trembled!

"What is it now…?" wondered Timassa.

"We triggered… a hidden boss…" said Arthur.

"Hoh? Good!" said Noah, as the group glanced at the enormous behemoth emerge from the dunes!
