Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

As Noah's party entered the Ash Desert Dungeon, they began to perceive that there was no maze or form to this dungeon, it seemed to be just an endless sea of gray ash sand, with a strong, scorching sun atop the sky, whose sunlight was so potent that it was burning their skin constantly, triggering their regeneration abilities.

Noah, however, found this as a plus, as it would boost the regeneration of everyone if they constantly received damage into their skin and then regenerated back, increasing their proficiency.

However, just when Noah was about to explore the dunes through the sky a bit more, the sand below the feet of his subordinates started to tremble, as a gigantic creature emerged from it, with a long and coiling body!

BOOM!

The gray sand exploded out from the ground, as the enormous creature made its way to the surface, glancing at its new meal.

Noah and his party glanced at the creature with awe.

It resembled a gigantic worm-like creature, towering over ten meters, with a hard exoskeleton that did not hinder its flexible body.

It possessed a spiraling, jawless mouth with hundreds of tiny razor-sharp teeth inside, and over six eyes spread around the mouth, which had a long and slimy tongue, secreting a purple liquid, poison!

This creature that should be more like a Boss Monster was in fact a normal D-Rank Monster, it is size and might intimidated Noah's party!

"This is… A Giant Sand Worm…!" said Arthur.

"It's secreting poison from its tongue, watch out!" said Noah, as the party was brought back to reality, their senses sharpened as everyone enhanced their bodies with their respective skills, darting away from the scene as the Giant Sand Worm did not wait for them to get ready, immediately charging towards them with its mouth wide open!

BOOM!

"GROWL!"

The Giant Sand Worm began to swim through the sand, generating tremors after tremors!

Barely being able to evade, Noah and his group gathered into the skies, Iris, Jon, Arthur was able to fly through their Flight Skill and natural Blood Control, while Timassa and Adamantine were able to fly through their Thunder and Shadow Aura, managing to fly near Noah!

The group glanced at the Gian Sand Worm as it dived into the sand, looking for them until it finally noticed that they were high into the sky, jumping towards them like a monstrous tower!

BOOM!

"GROOWL!"

"Now!" commanded Noah.

Noah and his party had already readied their attacks, as a shower of black thunder, shadow bullets, blood weapons, and corrosion fell right into the Giant Sand Worm's mouth!

Slash! Clash! Boom!

The black thunder electrified the creature's interiors, frying it up alive, the shadow bullets broke its flesh directly, leaving large holes, the blood weapons sliced and punctured through the monster's flesh with ease, and the corrosion began to slowly make the open wounds decay even further!

Noah and his group quickly flew up high into the skies as they kept showering the monster with long-ranged attacks!

The best way to fight against such a giant monster was to abuse their ability to fly and shower it with everything they had!

"Growl…!"

The Giant Sand Worm suddenly feel lethargic, as it lost too much blood and gave out its last growl, falling over the sand and exploding into black smoke!

"See? Even if it is big, flying is a powerful ability, we can fly into the skies and evade its charging attacks while showering with long-ranged attacks," said Noah.

"Amazing, we did it!" said Iris.

"It was… easier than I imagined," said Timassa.

"We are really strong…" said Jon.

"I didn't think about that in the middle of the panic of such a giant thing being a normal monster… I really thought it was some kind of hidden boss…" said Arthur.

"Well, you already studied the monster bestiary, this creature is a mere D-Rank monster… and there are more to come…" said Noah with a smile, pointing his index finger into the dunes, as the party glanced at the sands tremble below them!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Five!

Five enormous Giant Sand Worms emerged out of the sand, roaring loudly as if Noah and his party had offended them greatly!

Perhaps the one they killed was some kind of member of their group?

This thought arose on Arthur's mind as he realized that these worms were even bigger than the other, at least… twice their size!

And these things were simply just random monsters in a D-Rank Dungeon!

Arthur could not even imagine how an actual Boss would end up looking like!

He sighed in relief knowing that the Boss Room was sealed somewhere so this Gate could be kept open and active even after defeating many monsters.

As long as the Boss was not killed, the Gate would not be destroyed, and the Dungeon would remain.

However, this did not mean that Hidden Bosses would not spawn… which were even stronger than the actual Boss at times, and those could be killed without fearing for the Dungeon to be destroyed…

And just by thinking on that, Arthur began to worry again.

But there was not any time for that, as five Giant Sand Worms attacked the party!

Their bodies were twice the size of the ones they killed, most likely these monsters had reached their adult stage!

"Grooowl!"

Flash!

A monstrous and fierce Giant Sand Worm reached Arthur and the rest of the group in a millisecond, their speed was even higher than the smaller one they killed!

"Corrosion!" said Arthur, desperately attacking with waves of corrosion that made the Giant Sand Worm choke with the strange sensation of its mouth being slowly corroded and decay, however, the creature was too big, and such wound was nothing!

But after that, dozens of blood projectiles shaped as swords fell over its eyes, making it shriek in agony!

"GROOOWL…!"

The Giant Sand Worm roared in pain, like Noah and the rest of the party that was evading the gigantic monsters by flying pretty high into the sky quickly took the opportunity that the scared Arthur created!

"Good one, Arthur!" said Iris.

"Let us finish it for you," said Jon.

"Five arrows should be enough!" said Timassa.

Iris used her phantom chains and her knife to slash through the creature's exoskeleton, taking away several pieces, while Jon unleashed all of his powers, draining the life and mana out of the creature while unleashing distortion attacks over its mouth and tongue, and then Timassa released five black thunder arrows inside of the creature's mouth, destroying its insides as it gave out its last groans of pain before dying, falling into the floor, and exploding into black smoke!

"GROOOWL…!"

Boom!

After seeing this, the other Giant Sand Worms were even more enraged, darting towards the group!

Two Giant Sand Worms reached the party, as Noah quickly intervened after he evaded the attack of another!

His Soul Weapon extended like a giant bony claw of crimson colors, as Noah unleashed his several Skills, such as Blood Flow Acceleration, Unyielding Blood Demon, Blood Sacrifice, Blood Retribution, and Blood Frenzy!

"Eviscerating Crimson Claws!"

Conjuring the name of his favorite Skill, Noah's claws grew even bigger, to ridiculous proportions, as he controlled them with his superhuman strength and crazed strength, slashing through the flesh of the Giant Sand Worm, opening a wide-open wound all over its stomach, as its intestines and other internal organs blasted out of its body!

Noah, however, was not done, as he had poured his blood inside of the creature's body!

"Blood Combustion!"

Closing his claws, Noah made the blood he poured inside his prey explode, as the entire Giant Sand Worm, which reached at least 20 meters exploded into pieces, completely radicalizing the enormous creature that brought such fear to Arthur!

BOOM!

The other Giant Sand Worms quickly rushed towards Noah, who they saw as the biggest threat!

A big mistake!

A moment after, Iris and Adamantine leaped over the head of one of the Giant Sand Worms, destroying its eyes and making it cry in agony, as they unleashed strong slicing attacks all over its mouth, making it vomit blood constantly!

Timassa came right after, flying through the skies with her thunder acting similar to Noah's Crimson Flash, as she unleashed a large black thunder spear into the Giant Sand Worm, entering its wide mouth and making the projectile explode inside of its flesh, inflating like a balloon to explode right after!

BOOM!

Noticing the death of yet another member, the other Giant Sand Worms roared, as one of the biggest ones suddenly opened its mouth and gathered large quantities of purple liquid!
