Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

The large red crabs, walking fishes, and giant eels emerged from the large pool, attacking Noah and his group with everything they had.

The large crabs had hard exoskeletons and strong pincers, the giant eels were able to unleash electric attacks, and the walking fishes wielded weapons and were more proficient in using them than even Goblins!

However, Noah's party unleashed their attacks and Skills, as they began to tear apart the large army of monsters within seconds!

"Let me slow them down!" said Arthur.

Arthur released slow yet deadly waves of erosion that slowed down the large groups of dozens of monsters, slowly hurting their health and making them lethargic, while also protecting himself by creating magic barriers that could resist a few hits before shattering!

As Arthur was a mage-type of Hunter, he did not have any skill that improved his physical abilities aside from the Dhampir Skill, so he needed to stay in the backlines while using his supporting skills to help his companions.

His healing skill could let others regenerate faster without needing to drink blood, and his barrier protected him and those that were not too strong physically such as Timassa and Jon, alongside his erosion skill that could affect a wide range of monsters and slow them down.

"Evil Eye! Energy Transfer!" said Jon.

Seeing that Arthur had begun to slow down a group of a few dozen of monsters, Jon immediately began to use his Evil Eyes, absorbing away the life and mana of the monsters, while transferring it to his companions!

Alongside this, he used the Evil Eye of Distortion to deal long-ranged damage that twisted the things that neared his range, however, it had a limited range, and he could only attack monsters one by one, alongside this, the power of the distortion was not so strong, so he needed to activate it several times to kill a monster, however, it was very good at weakening the monsters, especially breaking the hard shell of the crabs!

"I will end them!" said Timassa

Timassa at the side of the two covered herself in black thunder-like armor, and enhanced her speed and perception abilities, unleashing immense barrages of black thunder arrows from her bow, impacting wide groups of weakened monsters, and ending them in one shot thanks to Arthur and Jon's abilities helping in!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The monster's body pieces flew into the air, as they began to slowly turn into black smoke, only leaving items behind!

Meanwhile, Iris and Adamantine rushed through the Temple, slicing apart large eels and tearing the walking fishes into pieces, turning them all into black smoke one by one!

Iris unleashed her Phantom Aura, coating her body as fox ears, tails, and claws grew over her body, resembling the incarnation of a phantom demon, she tore apart the monsters around her furiously, her long black claws seeping deadly poison into their flesh and making them convulse!

Near her, Adamantine was covering herself in a coating of shadows, shaped as a deadly demon, she leaped even more furiously and less refined than Iris, using her jaws to tear apart large chunks of flesh off eels disregarding their electric attacks, and munching away her way like a voracious and gluttonous fiend!

Sakura, Sugar, and Big Sis were together near Arthur, Jon, and Timassa, serving as a backup while unleashing their long-ranged attacks and their Innate Abilities from their Blood Core Batteries, Light Bullets penetrated the flesh of the monsters with ease and blew them into bits, as icy winds froze some into place for Sugar's Blight Blades to slice them into pieces!

Noah was fighting on his own, coated in an immense yet light crimson armor made of crystalized blood using the Blood Armor Skill, and with large spears floating all around his body, he rushed through the battlefield through the Crimson Flash Skill, and used the Poisonous Blood Skill to coat his Blood Weapons with, unleashing deadly stabs into the monster's flesh, which he then made explode through Blood Detonation!

Just with these Skills alone, Noah was annihilating a large part of the army completely by himself, making the monsters quickly slow down in numbers and speed, until only very few were left, which were quickly annihilated by his powerful explosive blood weapons.

However, right after that, a powerful presence emerged from the pool!

"Eh?! A Mini-Boss! This soon?" asked Arthur in surprise.

"Brace yourselves!" said Noah, as his armor grew with spikes to become even deadlier, as he took ahold into the air!

"GROOOOOWL!"

A gigantic beast emerged from the pool, resembling an evolved version of the giant eels, however, its body was covered in hard metallic scales and log razor-sharp fangs, with glowing golden eyes and emanating a deadly amount of electricity all around its body!

"Iris, Adamantine, at my side! The rest, attack from afar!" said Noah, as Iris and Adamantine quickly rushed at his side, as the three jumped up into the air, reaching the giant monster's body!

They bared their claws, as they began to tear its scales apart with utmost ease!

Noah in specific was doing it incredibly well thanks to his powerful Soul Weapon, which extended like bony claws, tearing the flesh apart and making the beast groan in agony!

The beast quickly tried to unleash its electricity over Noah, Iris, and Adamantine, but their speed, power, and resiliency were all high, they could even survive being electrified by its powerful electrifying shock!

Noah smiled maliciously, as he suddenly created several blades and began to tear the inside flesh of the giant monster, making the weapons explode not long after, as large filets of meat fell from the monster's body.

Arthur, Jon, Timassa, Sakura, Sugar, and Big Sis began to use their long-ranged attacks, breaking through the beast defenses while evading its shocking thunder attacks and deadly bites, which were most of the time being directed to Noah, Iris, and Adamantine, making their life easy as they tore apart the beast's body into pieces!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Noah quickly began to activate his Blood Detonation again, penetrating the monster's flesh with long spears and then making them explode!

Not long after, the beast gave away its last cry, falling into the ground and then exploding into black smoke, leaving various cores behind!

"W-Woah, that was fast…" said Arthur.

"See? This is because all of you have evolved. Your power has become greater, E-Rank monsters, even Mini-Bosses are no threat to us as long as we go all out…" said Noah, as he dived into the depths of the pool and grabbed a large treasure chest, alongside several other magic materials resting around, such as corals, seaweed, and more, saving it all inside his Dimensional Storage Ring.

Splash!

As Noah emerged out, his armor suddenly turned into liquid blood and entered his Blood Sphere once more, as he took away the treasure chest.

"We got so many Cores… I wonder what we will found in these treasure chests…" said Iris.

"Don't have your hopes up, it will probably not be anything too amusing, after all this is just an E-Rank Dungeon," said Noah, opening the chest as a few spherical jewels were revealed, alongside other items.

"R-Right, it is just more Cores!" said Arthur while sighing, but at the same time being happy that they were Cores, so their progress could be faster.

"Hm, around twelve Cores and… three Ability Cores inside a treasure chest, if every room has one of these, we can easily get enough to reach D-Rank tonight!" said Noah ambitiously.

"How many Cores did we gather in this hunt?" asked Timassa.

"Around… sixty! There were a lot of monsters, but several of them didn't drop enough," said Arthur.

"Sixty… It should be enough if we fight a few more then, let's go!" said Noah, as he led his party towards the next hall of the Accursed Water Temple after saving the Cores inside of his Dimensional Storage Ring.

As the party moved through the corridors, they realized that even though the corridors that connected each room were long and wide, there were absolutely no monsters around, and they would only spawn whenever they entered a certain hall.

"Perhaps these areas are for resting," said Arthur.

"I am quite hungry myself…" said Iris.

"Iris we just ate…" said Timassa.

"Me… satiated," said Adamantine.

Noah sighed, taking a bag of potato chips from his Dimensional Storage Ring.

Iris happily received it, as she devoured the bag and then felt thirsty…

"Bwah, now I'm thirsty…" said Iris.

"Do you think I am your babysitter now?!" said Noah rather annoyed.

"Uwah! N-No! D-Don't get angry, Noah-sama!" said Iris.
