Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

Although the God of Earth had managed to fend off the powerful Miasma Wave by a large amount, which took a lot of its energy and powers that it stockpiled over thousands of years, it didn't particularly felt the sharp and piercing pain that it felt now.

In fact, God had never felt pain before in their entire life.

It was a being that was too high within the heaves to be damaged by any Human. It existed inside of its own Divine Realm, separated from space.

No matter how much humans explored the outer space around Earth, they were unable to find God, even if it could be hiding right behind their noses.

It never entered into any conflict with any being as strong as it is, and even when it meets the System Master, it was through friendly terms, as the System Master offered God his help.

However, the moment Noah devoured the holy soul of Excalibur, which was a fragment of the Lady of the Lake, which was also born from God, it was when it actually felt pain.

As it was connected to Excalibur, the holy blade itself could be said to be a part of God, a form that God itself had taken on this world.

Excalibur was God's embodiment and unleashed its power to slay the evil beings that threatened their creator's life, the monsters and evils of the past that once almost made humans go extinct.

…Which were also created by Humanity's fears, how ironic.

The moment Noah devoured all of the soul of Excalibur and then completely corrupted the blade was when God felt pain.

A monstrous, sharp, and piercing pain all over its divine soul.

It was so painful that the many minds that composed it began to scream in agony within their Divine Realm.

It truly felt as if a pair of sharp jaws bite right into their flesh and tore apart a large chunk of it, with bone and all.

Many of the minds that made God even fell unconscious after experiencing this pain, and were just waking up, asking what was happening.

They couldn't believe that it was possible for such a being to even experience pain, to begin with, it was utter nonsense.

Yet, it did, and it wasn't even with a direct attack, but an indirect attack.

This was the first time that a mortal has dared to damage God!

The many minds within God felt different emotions.

Some felt fear, they felt like they would soon experience their doom!

Others felt anger, wrathful anger, they wanted to find the one that dared to bite them and crush it like a mere ant!

Some others were curious about who this entity could be, what it wanted, and how was it even possible for it to do such a thing.

And others seemed captivated by its bite, and the slight essence that it left within their divine soul, some small minds even began to see this person with… devotion.

Completely unaware of it, Noah had begun to affect God itself with his Guidance!

However, only a few, little minds were being affected, and the main hive-mind was mostly angered and fearful.

God quickly began to use the power of the System that it had, as it was assigned as some kind of System Administrator, alongside possessing within its Divine Soul a copy of the System Master, the one that was being worshiped in Earth as the original one was nowhere to receive such power, God began to search through the System.

This Copy of the System Master was similar to other copies of living people that were once worshipped as gods, such as pharaohs, and in modern times before the apocalypse, even video game or anime characters were present…

After the Apocalypse, however, the number of such entities lowered a lot, and only the most resilient survived, while new ones, famous Hunters that were worshiped by their strength and heroism around the new Earth began to emerge as copies of these idolized figures within God.

Although it was simply still God, sometimes such copied idolized figures of worship that resembled real-life people could somehow recreate part of their capabilities.

The System Mastermind within God was one of such entities.

Created by the faith over the System Master and its ever-growing and ever-expanding church, it was eventual that such a figure would appear within God itself.

However, it was not the real System Master, nor it really possessed its true nature or personality, nor its origins, nor its ego, but it possessed the personality and origins that people believed it had, alongside a bit more of power over the System itself, which is used to aid the other minds that made up God.

After hours of looking, they finally found the culprit, and it was no one else than the "anomaly" within the System, the one that had the strange "Blood Core", a powerful artifact that was absorbing and assimilating the power of the System at each passing second.

"It as the anomaly!"

"The anomaly, the anomaly…!"

"A Vampire? Blood Core?"

The minds began to glance at the anomaly's status, finding his level of strength and the bunch of weird Skills he had.

"Revoke his powers! He's a dangerous being, he does not deserve the System!"

"Take away his power! Quick, before it grows too strong!"

"It had grown quite strong already, you idiots. He assimilated the soul of Excalibur and corrupted it. Even if we take away whatever power the System is giving him, we cannot take away the Blood Core he has nor Excalibur anymore…"

"Noo! Excalibur!"

"The blade we crafted…"

"Now it is on the hands of this demonic entity who is using the System! It shouldn't be possible for monsters such as Vampire to use the System!"

"Even then, let's revoke its powers!"

A large amount of the minds within God had decided that it was better to take away whatever powers they could from this entity, Noah.

As they were something similar to an Administrator within the System, the deletion of Skills and even Stats was possible by spending an amount of energy.

Through this, although they had never practiced it before, they were able to completely leave Noah without any support from the System, left to fend off by himself.

This opinion grew more and more common within the hive-minded God until it was taking over 70% of all hive-minds!

However, the other 30% were fighting against this, as they had their own thoughts about the anomaly, which they freely shared with the rest of the minds.

"The anomaly is an important element. It possesses a power that could be used to save our world…"

"Although it had committed a grave offense, we should think things through and considerate that he might become a useful piece against whatever might come here…"

"He is advancing at an outstanding pace. The anomaly could become the savior of our world. Leave him be for now."

"The anomaly is… captivating… my mind is filling itself with so many thoughts! Ah~! What is this?! Is this… love?!"

"The anomaly has filled my mind with devotion, let him be, you insane warmongers."

This group kept pushing down the other for some time, buying time for Noah… however, in the end, they were overwhelmed, and God decided to take away Noah's power within the System.

"It is decided!" said God, for the first time in a long time, more than 70% of its minds had decided to do something that they all agreed to!
