Vampire Overlord System in the Apocalypse

Noah slowly opened his eyes as the warmth of the sunlight bathed his face. Unlike conventional Vampires, he was unaffected by normal sunlight, although he had heard from the Blood Progenitor that the sunlight produced by the Sun Heralds, entities that live within the world of Vampires, Abyss, had the power to burn Vampires and were their greatest weakness.

Nonetheless, Noah did not care about such things as of now, as he moved around the bed and quickly realized that Iris was silently sleeping at his side.

He began to remember what he saw within his dreams, the people he made "blossom" with his very touch.

Although such dreams were very weird, he began to find that there might have been an inner meaning behind them, something within the depths of his very being had awakened, a new power.

It felt as if he was guiding them towards the same path he walked through, it was strange, yet mystical.

Noah recalled the last one he made blossom, which seemed to be Iris herself, who was drowning her own mind into the traumas of her past.

Feeling pity for his beloved wife, Noah did everything he could to save her from such everlasting darkness, even though he was a monster to anyone else than his subordinates and wife, for Iris, he resembled a bright light that pierced the darkness of her past, and made her look over a new and brighter future.

He recalled hugging her soul tightly and telling her how much he loved her, reassuring her that everything would be okay, that he would be always there for her, just as much as she is always there for him.

Noah slightly smiled as he saw Iris sleep peacefully, inspecting her soul and find that her soul had already healed and was even healthier than before, it had in fact grew in size a lot.

Although he lost part of the power he acquired by eating The Lady of the Lake and Merlin, this was a fitting sacrifice for them, as they had also sacrificed their very souls to bring him victory.

And at the end, Noah appreciated and treasured them, despite never saying it directly. Every one of his subordinates was always within his heart and was also his own strength and a reason for him to keep moving forward.

Iris was perhaps one of the greatest emotional supports, someone that brought him company, that showed him love and passion, that brought the humanity that he had long forgotten about, which made him feel whole.

He had delved into much of the darkness, but he needed to become a balanced being, both yin, and yang needed to be in perfect balance to become a being that could truly exert proper judgment and not fall into too much of the other side.

To become someone that could actually survive in this chaotic world, he needed to be balanced in both good and evil, although such concepts were nothing but the moral of each person, and everyone had their very own concepts of what was good and evil.

Feeling a bit relieved that things had gone fine, he quickly remembered Sakura, Noire, and Sugar, the robot girls who had fought against the vicious Merlin in the last fight, defending the weakened subordinates and Iris from his powerful magic.

He had been quite merciless with Sakura's body, but it was knowing that she could self-repair.

After Merlin's soul was eaten by Noah, he feeds her and the other damaged robots with his own soul fragments as well, possibly forming souls for them as well.

Could they even be considered robots anymore?

Perhaps they had now evolved into something greater.

Alongside that, Noah let them grab any magic materials to heal themselves, even some of the artifacts lying within Arthur's grandfather's hall.

He remembered that he saw Sakura and Noire and the other damaged Robots slowly reconstructing themselves, so he knew that they were fine now.

Even more, as within his dreams, he had seen figures with similar personalities and even "colors" as them, strengthening the belief that Noah had given them true souls.

Feeling relieved that, at the very least, this morning seemed rather calm after the turmoil of events yesterday, Noah decided to assess the annoying dinging sounds that the System was making since he woke up.

He squinted his eyes as he glanced at the several holographic windows emerge one after another.

Noah had suddenly gained a lot of power when he ate both of the souls of the Lady of the Lake within Excalibur and also Merlin's soul.

He also saw that his attribute values increased by a whopping +400! With this, he had already crossed the 1.000 Attribute Values benchmark, and only needed 200 to reach A-Rank!

Alongside that, he got three new and mysterious Skills, alongside many Skills that awakened, which startled the serious Vampire for a few seconds due to the constant influx of System windows.

Noah inspected his newly acquired Skills with detail first, leaving the awakened ones for afterward.

You and the Legendary Radiant Sword of Holy Light have become one. You can freely manipulate this powerful blade and summon it whenever you desire.

You can control the blade through telekinesis and unleash several of your attacking Skills with it, alongside this, you can insert part of your ego into it to let it attack and move on its own.

Additionally, this sword is indestructible, and it fuels your soul and mana, but it can also harvest this energy from whatever it defeats to nourish you.

Excalibur is a Soul Weapon and has its own Status, alongside having the power to increase in strength alongside its wielder, however, the Skill itself cannot increase in proficiency, but may awaken if Excalibur itself grows stronger.

Noah's eyebrows raised in surprise as a devilish smile rose from his lips.

"Excalibur…" he said.

A second after, the blade emerged right at his side, hovering in midair.
