Unpredictable Marriage.

Chapter 505 - The Chen Family Mourns

Few Weeks after her engagement, Changying got married to her Fiance. Their wedding was a low-key type of Wedding, because of Aunt Lin's health.

Before her marriage, Changying didn't want to celebrate her wedding. She just wanted to register her marriage with her Fiance and the rest.

But Aunt Lin insisted that they hold a Wedding, and because Changying would do anything to fulfill her mother's wish at this time, so she agreed.

The Wedding was successful and all close family members and friends attended the wedding in their numbers.

After her Wedding, Changying canceled her honeymoon because she could feel her mother was slowly letting go of her hand. Her husband didn't have any problems with it.

Because he would do anything to make his wife happy, and he very understood the situation.

But someone else did not think their decision was right.

"I have your father to take care of me, so go ahead spend some time with your husband. You just got married newly, this step is wrong. If need anything, your father will get it for me, so set your heart at ease." Aunt Lin said to her.

Chen Lihua also spoke to her and gave her some advice.

"Just go ahead and spend some time with your husband, you two just got married, and this is an important aspect of your relationship. If you don't go for your honeymoon, you will regret it in the future."

What this means is that she should go for the honeymoon, because if she remains by her mother's side, she will still die. After all, she was close to death's door. When her mother dies, it will take some months to mourn her and recover from the shock.

But by the time she gets herself back, she will discover that she would not be relating to her husband like the way they are supposed to be.

They have indeed been dating for several months plus the long-distance relationship, but still, they need that alone time after their Wedding as Husband and Wife.

After considering all of these, Changying traveled for her honeymoon.

But something happened suddenly that caused her to return after a week. Chen Lihua called her and asked her to come home.

She put it this way, "Your Mum wants to see you."

There was a hidden message behind that sentence, and Changying understood it. She teared up immediately at the news.

There was what seemed like a minute silence before Chen Lihua broke it.

"Changying, I'm sorry for ruining your honeymoon. You have to be Strong, and Aunt needs you to be. Your Father needs your help with something, when you get back home, we will talk about it."

The next day, Changying flew back home with her husband.

When they got to the house, her mother was bedridden with pipes connected to some parts of her body. This time around, she was breathing through an oxygen mask.

Her situation has worsened, and she was almost at her wit's end!

Aunt Lin forced a smile and removed her oxygen mask as she slowly said to her daughter when she stepped into her bedroom.

"Ying, you're back?."

Changying fought hard to hold in her tears, but she couldn't. She just let the tears flow from her eyes as she walked to her mother's side.

"Mmm, I'm back." She replied admits the tears that clouded her vision.

Her husband walked in at this time. He greeted his mother-in-law and only engaged in a one-minute conversation with her, before leaving the mother and daughter to themselves.

Aunt Lin took some time to catch her breath, before speaking up slowly.

"Ying, don't cry, everything will be alright."

"Yes, I know that everything will be alright,"  Changying replied in-between sobs.

That same day, Chen Lihua and her female cousins came to visit Changying and Aunt Lin.

This time, Aunt Ling needed company. She needed her family around in her last days.

The doctor gave Aunt Ling a few months to live so that's the reason she hurried her daughter to hold a wedding as quickly as possible.

She wanted to watch her daughter get married before her condition becomes worst, and it turns out that she was right on track.

Knowing fully well, about her condition, Aunt Lin sent her daughter away to enjoy her honeymoon with her husband.

A month later, tragedy struck the Chen Family.

Aunt Lin gave up the ghost just a few hours after signing the marriage certificate with HuiQing.

But before then, HuiQing kept begging for them to get married, but she refused. So he had to involve the family, and after much deliberation, she accepted his ring.

What touched her, and one of the reasons she agreed to get married to him on her deathbed, was because he made a statement.

"The greatest mistake I made was to allow you leave with my child in our youth. Now my greatest aspiration is for us to be husband and wife. If you leave me without granting this wish, I will live with regrets that I can not bear, so I will have to join you."

His words touched her, and she had to accept his ring at the dying moment.

"But I still feel that this is a waste." Aunt Lin said as she gazed at her finger where he slipped the ring onto.

"Nothing I do for us is a waste," HuiQing said as he kissed the back of her palms.

During the hour of her death, her close family members were in the room with her because they got wind of the news that she was leaving soon, so they all came to see her, excluding her parents who were not away from this ugly situation.

"I want to thank all of you for putting up with me all my life. In my next life, I will still choose you as my Family. Please, do me a favor and look after Changying and HuiQing. I miss you all." Aunt Lin said all these without her oxygen mask as she struggled to breathe.

When they tried putting the mask back on her nose she refused them with the sentence, "When it's my time, I will go. Allow me to say my last words to you."

After speaking to them, the Chen Family left the bedroom for her, so she could have a little privacy with her husband, her daughter, and her husband.

So they waited in the living room till HuiQing came out minutes later to announce her passing...
