The next morning before the couple left for their workplaces, Liu Longwei told Chen Lihua all his findings and the game he played on the culprits.

Chen Lihua was in a hurry today, as Liu Longwei kept teasing her this morning, thus delaying her.

So she had to rush up to work as quickly as possible.

Liu Longwei sent two bodyguards after her since they wouldn't be seeing each other for three days.

Chen Lihua didn't have the time to argue with him, so she just allowed him to have his way. The most important thing for her right now was to get to the hospital on time.

It looked like she would have killed her husband if she was late today.

She only had to do ward rounds in the morning, and then take a long break before meeting with the patient with the other surgeons in the evening.

Till now, the identity of the patient had remained hidden for reasons best known to the Chief.

According to the Chief, the patient had a special identity, so he could not let his identity be jeopardized before or even after the surgery was over. So he was only being careful.

But they would finally meet the patient with a special identity that evening, in order to prepare him for the surgery against tomorrow morning.

After her ward rounds, Chen Lihua took a long break.

Usually, she would have been going through the patient's record and trying to get more knowledge about the surgery. But she chose to relax, and that was because she has been preparing for the surgery for weeks already, so she chose to relax now.

Chen Lihua played relaxing music in her office through the fancy Bluetooth speaker while eating some cookies.

In the evening, when the patient arrived with a helicopter, the surgeons in charge of the surgery were called over to a small meeting room by their Chief.

They met a distinguished figure in the meeting room, who was the patient they would operate on in less than twenty-four hours.

The patient was the Minister for finance of Country C.

The surgeons, including Chen Lihua, were overwhelmed with surprise. Still, they all masked it with the professional smiles on their faces.

The Chief listened to the Minister's words before gazing at Chen Lihua, and then he nodded with a smile before whispering something back to the Minister.

The Deputy Chief followed the Chief and the Minister's gaze to Chen Lihua, and he became envious. But Chen Lihua, who was the centre of attention, had something else going on in her mind.
