Unpredictable Marriage.

Chapter 259 - Over A Drink.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei went back to their home in the Karlmann King.

In the car, Liu Longwei held Chen Lihua's hand, as he squeezed it gently.

He looked very happy as the smile on his face tells it all.

"Do you want some wine?" He asked her.

"I will have it later," Chen Lihua said, exhausted.

"You look tired, why don't you close your eyes for a while," Liu Longwei suggested.

"Don't worry, I will do that when we get home," Chen Lihua said.

There was a moment of silence as Liu Longwei continued squeezing her right hand gently.

"So, we are officially married?" Chen Lihua asked with a smile while breaking the silence.

"Mmmhmm," Liu Longwei hummed before leaving a kiss on the back of her hand.

"Was this how you wanted your dream wedding to be like?" Liu Longwei asked.

"Yes, everything was perfect, even though there is nothing like perfect. In years to come, the decorations and event plans will be outdated. But am very happy with how our wedding went today. We really need to give the wedding vendors more tips; they did a really good job today," Chen Lihua said cheerfully.

"Indeed, they did a good job today. I will send a tip across to all of them," Liu Longwei said.

"Thank you!" Chen Lihua said satisfactorily.

"You are welcome," Liu Longwei said before leaving another kiss on her palm.

Liu Longwei held Chen Lihua's hand until they got to their home.

"Where do you want to spend the night?" Liu Longwei asked as they took the elevator to their floor.

Chen Lihua blushed as she responded softly, "Your bedroom." Then she disappeared into her room.

Liu Longwei stared at the tightly closed door and smiled to himself before stepping into his bedroom.

Chen Lihua thought for a while before picking her toiletries, and selecting a random nightdress from her closet and went into Liu Longwei's bedroom, only for her to see red rose petals used to form a love shape on the white sheets.

She could see the candles ? lit at different corners of the room, she marveled at the sight before her.

She couldn't help but let her thoughts run wide, as she started to imagine she and Liu Longwei would roll in the sheets tonight.

Liu Longwei came out from the bathroom and saw his wife staring at the sheets, so he smiled.

"Do you want to use the bathroom?" He asked, breaking her out from her thoughts.

"Yes," Chen Lihua replied as she ventured into the bathroom locking the door in the process.

Liu Longwei chuckled to himself before going into his walk-in closet.

After Chen Lihua was done bathing and had changed into her nightdress, she came into the room and didn't catch a glimpse of Liu Longwei's shadow.

So as she walked towards the bed, she began to wonder where he went to.

Now standing beside the bed, she saw a note on the bed, so she picked it up and read it.

The note said, "I know you're not comfortable, so meet me up at the rooftop, let's have a drink, so you can loosen up a bit."

"What a thoughtful husband," Chen Lihua said to herself in a smile.

A few minutes later, Chen Lihua came up to the rooftop, only to see Liu Longwei sitting and staring into the night view.

Liu Longwei heard her footsteps and turned to look at her. Then he gestured for her to take a seat beside him, and she obeyed.

"Why are you wearing so little?" Liu Longwei asked with a slight frown on his face.

Chen Lihua took a glance at her dress before speaking up, "I just picked the dress randomly. But the breeze is nice and soothing, so I am not cold."

Liu Longwei didn't say anything again, he just opened up the bottle of wine before pouring a certain quantity into each of the wine glasses ?on the stool.

He then passed a glass to Chen Lihua, and they clinked glasses.

"Cheers to our married life," Liu Longwei said, and Chen Lihua responded.

They each took a sip from their wine glass ?as they stared at the night view.

"You have Acrophobia (Fear of height), but am surprised you are not scared by how high up we are," Liu Longwei said, out of the blue.

Chen Lihua laughed softly, "I have never been up here before, so I can't tell how high up we are. And besides, it's very late, so I really can't tell."

Liu Longwei nodded his head in understanding, and the two talked briefly about their wedding party.

"Am I that stubborn?" Chen Lihua asked.

"Mmmhmm. Don't you know?" Liu Longwei asked with a smile, and Chen Lihua shook her head.

"Let's go back inside, the night wind is starting to become chilly," Liu Longwei said as he stood up before stretching his hand out to Chen Lihua.

Chen Lihua gulped down the little quantity of wine remaining in her glass, before holding onto Liu Longwei's outstretched hand for support, as she stood up.

So hand in hand, they went back into their bedroom.

Chen Lihua had turned off the lights before leaving the room earlier. So when they came into the room, it was dim, as the only source of light in the room was from the candles.

Accompanied by the scent in the room, the room reeked of romance.

Without turning on the lights, the two found their way to the bed.

"I think I should get rid of the flowers," Liu Longwei said while staring at the bed of roses.

"That would be a waste," Chen Lihua said, with a tinge of regret in her voice while staring at the beautiful rose petals on the bed.

Liu Longwei chuckled softly and asked, "Do you want to sleep on them?"

Chen Lihua sighed, before saying, "Forget it", so Liu Longwei got rid of the flowers.

Now, they laid under the white blankets without moving.
