Unpredictable Marriage.

Chapter 217 - Liu Huiling And Her Husband Have An Argument.

The man with the average looks glanced at her with a frown as he asked in a harsh voice.

"Why do I have to cancel all the appointments I have just because of your brother's wedding?"

Liu Huiling scoffed, "You must be joking with me, right? I already mentioned my brother's wedding to you three months ago. I was expecting you to have that in mind. You didn't even come to the Chinese wedding, and everyone kept asking about you."

"Why would they ask about me? It's not like the wedding will not hold without me," Huiling's husband replied with a snort at the end of his statement.

"Can you listen to yourself? Do you think I don't know that you've been cheating on me? I know that you were with one of those side chicks of yours on the business trip you went for, and that's the reason you were not present at my brother's wedding," Liu Huiling sneered.

Her husband was dumbstruck for a while, for he was too shocked to say anything.

'How did this woman find out about this?'

A sudden thought came to him as he pointed his finger at her while saying with a furious expression, "Did you send someone to follow me? How long have you known about this?"

"So you are indirectly admitting that you have been cheating on me? Do you think I don't know about your famous mistresses and other little girls you sleep around with? I don't blame you at all. I blame myself for choosing you over the millions of reputable suitors that came for me. Even despite my family's advice," Liu Huiling said with a tinge of regret in her voice, while her face still remained ordinary.

"I knew that your family was not anything good. You wealthy people always like to show off your fortune. Are you regretting why you got married to me? Too late!" The man taunted.

"Why did you hide this dirty side of yours before we got married? You are just a green snake in green grass. Don't think that I am powerless and that I can't do anything. The only reason I am letting you be is because of our children," Liu Huiling told him as a matter of fact.

"Are you threatening me?" The man asked in anger.

Liu Huiling answers without a care in the world, "If that's what you think it is, then so be it."

"Good! At least you have learned something new from that elder brother of yours. Your family is no good!" The man said as he got up from his seat.

"Have you forgotten that my 'no good family' made you what you are today, and you still have the guts to insult them you ungrateful person that bites the hands that feeds him. Well, I don't care what you say. All I know is that we are going to the wedding together, so if you know what is good for you, you had better clear up your schedule," Liu Huiling said. Then without giving him any chance to respond, she walked away.

Liu Huiling is a strong-minded woman. So her husband's cheating will not in any way affect her mood, even though it did at the very beginning when she found out about this.

The reason she agreed to marry her husband was that he cared a lot about her in their dating days, and showered her with lots of love back then.

But who knew that all of it was a facade, or maybe the leopard had eaten his conscience.

Back in those days when they were dating, he used to be at her beck and call. He did everything she ever asked for, although she was never unreasonable with her demands.

Her husband fulfilled everything she requested. He supported her and helped her make some crucial decisions in her life that helped her immensely.

But what went wrong?

After they had their second child, his attitude started to change.

When she first introduced him to her family, her parents, and grandmother welcomed him politely. And the second time she brought him to visit them, they welcomed him with open arms because of the little interactions he had with their daughter. Thus they concluded that he was okay.

Although the first time she told her mother about him and showed his pictures to her, she asked her if she was sure the man really loved her. And also told her some things about not marrying people from their class.

It's not like Madam Liu looked down on them, but because of finding who truly loved her because most of them (middle class) might be after her status and money, and not love.

But in the end, she left the ball in her daughter's court, since she was not the person getting married. So Liu Huiling was free to make any decision that suited her.

Had it been, she listened to her mother's advice or maybe assessed her husband very well before saying 'yes' to his proposal. She wouldn't have had to suffer what she was currently going through.

The worst part of the situation is that he was not remorseful at his actions at all.

Instead of him to apologize for his ugly actions, he started pouring the blame on her family, even insulting her brother that made him who he was today.

Well, there was no need for crying over spilled milk.

Liu Huiling decided not to interfere with what he was doing. She felt that there was nothing she could say to him that would make him take his actions into consideration.

The only reason that would make her caution him is if the matter involved her family's reputation even if it already did.

And the only thing still keeping her in this hell of marriage was her children, and that is why she has not yet considered a divorce.

Later that night, her husband left the house and went to a party at a well-known clubhouse, and he only came back the next morning, drunk and reeking of alcohol.
