And after saying that, Chen Lihua put her head back into the room before closing the door after rolling her eyes at her friends.

Her friends smiled at her actions and blew kisses towards the door while shouting excitedly, "We love you!"

Chen Lihua sat on the couch in the room as she didn't even dare to seat on the bed because of the dates, lotus seeds, and other seeds that symbolized fruitfulness that were scattered on the bed.

So she sat on the sofa to wait for her husband for fear of doing something against the tradition.

She didn't even dare to ask her mother if she could sleep on the bed without Liu Longwei because, with her personality, she would change the topic to another thing.

As for asking her mother-in-law, she was more than embarrassed to do so.

Asking those terrible friends that were still guarding the door would be disastrous and will cost her peace.

She shook her head and continued sitting on the bed while allowing her mind to reminisce on the day's activities since sleep had long disappeared from her eyes.

As for Liu Longwei, he ended up entertaining his friends for more than 30 minutes before sending them away the moment they finished drinking the three bottles of wine.

Since the wine they drank had a moderate alcoholic content, Liu Longwei still sent his bodyguards to drive them home even though none amongst them were drunk. 

Wu Bohai still wanted to cause trouble and blame it on the wine, but he was stopped before he could do so.

Thinking about his bride who was waiting for him, Liu Longwei smiled contentedly before walking up the stairs as he couldn't wait to hug her soft body.

When he caught sight of the young women standing in front of his room door, smiling and whispering to each other, he narrowed his eyes and paused in his steps.

'Why didn't anyone tell me that these women were still here?' He asked himself before continuing in his steps.

Hearing the steady approaching footsteps, those ladies stopped talking and looked up with a smile when they saw Liu Longwei.

"Hello, Mr. Liu" They greeted him cheerfully.

Liu Longwei stood in front of them and nodded in response to their greetings before asking in a polite manner since they were his wife's friends from high school.

"Do you need anything from me?" He asked as he looked at each and every one of them.

His mind had been running with questions like 'Why are they blocking the door to my room?'

"Yes", one of them answered, as another explained. "You need to pay up before you can see your bride, otherwise you can forget about entering the room".

"Pay up?" Liu Longwei asked in confusion raising one eyebrow since he didn't understand what they were talking about.

Just then, the housekeeper walked over on seeing her Master's face with confusion written all over it and decided to explain to him since he heard their conversation.

"Sir, it's a normal game played by the bridesmaids, female relatives, and friends of the bride on the wedding night. So you have to give them money before they will allow you to see Madam".

"Oh". Liu Longwei said before putting his hands inside his pocket and brought out two bundles of money.

Since they wanted money, Liu Longwei would give it to them, as long as he could see his wife after that.

One of the ladies stretched her hands to collect the two big bundles of money, as others cheered excitedly.

They thanked Liu Longwei with smiles on their faces before moving away from the door. Then without looking back, they left the place.

Liu Longwei sighed after he saw them disappear.

Then he opened the door to his room and went inside, only for him to be greeted with a beautiful sight.

His beautiful wife was dressed in a sexy nightdress. The nightdress was short, thus exposing her fair laps. Next, he looked at her enchanting face and saw those pretty sets of eyes staring at him in embarrassment.

His eyes roamed around her body, then he saw that her black long hair was let down, making her look like a Goddess.

Chen Lihua couldn't stand the way Liu Longwei was looking at her. She felt that if she didn't say anything soon, he would stare a hole in her body.

So she explained her situation immediately so he wouldn't think that she purposely dressed to seduce him.

"The girls had me dress this way. And they didn't let me change out of the clothes, they even blocked the door, so I had no choice than to stay in here". Chen Lihua explained.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, she stood up from the couch while saying, "Since you are here, it means they are gone. Let me change out of this dress, I'll be right back".

"No need. Wait for me, I am going to take a shower". Liu Longwei said as he walked into the bathroom with a look of indifference. But only he knew how happy he was.

Chen Lihua sat back down on the couch to wait for him as he said.

'Ah! Chen Lihua Chen Lihua, you are so naive. How could you listen to a wolf asking you to wait for him? He was indirectly asking you to wait, so he could devour you, and you waited. Tsk tsk'. 

Liu Longwei came out from the bathroom in 10 minutes' time, dressed in a white robe. His firm chest was exposed. Then around his neck, hung the chain necklace when Lihua bought for him.

Chen Lihua watched him walk to her and sit beside her as his manly scent filled the room.

"Let's drink the wine first, then we can go to bed". Liu Longwei said, removing the lids from the cups.

Chen Lihua thought he meant going to sleep, so her mind relaxed as they drank the wine from the gold cups tied together.

'Chen Lihua, if he said going to sleep, then he really meant going to sleep. But since he said going to bed, then it has another meaning (wink).

After drinking the wine, it was time to lie on the bed. But there was no way they can do that without removing the fertility seeds on the bed.

So Liu Longwei helped Chen Lihua to gather them before putting them onto the tray on the table.
