Unpredictable Marriage.

Liu Longwei looked towards Chen Lihua's direction and answered, "Not possible because she loves me deep down her heart".

Then after a while, he stood up and walked towards Chen Lihua. 

As Chen Lihua was busy laughing, she didn't notice that Liu Longwei was standing behind her until Jessica gave her a sign for her to look behind, and so she did.

Seeing her husband staring at her, she smiled and looked at him as well while holding unto her wine glass.

Liu Longwei looked at her friends as he apologized, "Am sorry for interrupting you, but I have to take my wife away for a while".

Chen Lihua's friends all smiled and nodded in understanding. Jessica said, "Go ahead and take her".

Chen Lihua dropped her wine glass on the table. Then she stood up and walked to stand beside Liu Longwei.

Liu Longwei took her hand in his as he took her away.

"I want to introduce my friends to you. You don't have to acknowledge them. Just take it as a formality".

"Ok". Chen Lihua answered as she walked with him.

Liu Longwei then glanced sideways to look at that irresistible face, and so he smiled faintly.

Having reached the corner where those groups of handsome young men were sitting, Liu Longwei released her hand.

"Longwei we thought you ran off to sit by yourself. But who knew you went to bring the beauty". 

"Yeah, me too".

"Longwei you actually got yourself a beauty".

"Hello Sister-in-law". A handsome man who was sitting cross-legged stood up to greet Chen Lihua.

And then, Liu Longwei ignored everyone else as he introduced Chen Lihua to the man in a grey suit.

He whispered in her ears, "That's Liu Dongmei's husband, Mu Boqin. He owns the biggest mining company in China".

Then Chen Lihua smiled as she stretched forth her right hand, "Hello Mr. Mu".

Mu Boqin stretched forth his hand to receive her hand in a handshake as he smiled.

"Mr. Liu you'd better introduce your wife to us, or I will rant out about your past". A handsome young Chap in a Chinese Artistic look joked.

"He is Zhang Bingwen, a famous movie producer and an actor". Liu Longwei said to Chen Lihua.

"No wonder he looked familiar to me". Chen Lihua said as she greeted the person.

Then Liu Longwei continued with his introduction.

"That's Su Changming, his family owns one of the biggest biopharmaceutical companies in Asia".

"The mad man with blue hair is Wu Bohai. He is a famous Playboy, His family owns chains of hotels, casinos, and clubs. Stay away from him". Chen Lihua laughed out loud when she heard Liu Longwei call the blue-haired man a mad man.

"The one on casual polo is Han Jian. His family owns a textile company".

"The one on glasses is Li Da. He is a neurosurgeon at the same hospital as you".

"Nice to meet you, Dr. Li". Chen Lihua greeted.

"No need for the formalities, just call me Li Da.". Li Da said with a polite smile.

"I am not sure you two have met each other in the hospital since you are indifferent departments". Liu Longwei said.

"I don't think I've seen him at the hospital". Chen Lihua said while shaking her head in a negative affirmation.

Just then, Li Da smiled and said some shocking words, "I've seen you before, and I've heard about you. Whenever I see you, you're always in a hurry, and that has left a lasting impression on me. But then, I didn't know you were Longwei's wife."

"Oh!" Chen Lihua exclaimed surprisingly. But then, she asked, "Just now, you said you've heard about me, from whom?"

Every other person became interested to know the answer, so they perked their ears high.

"From the chief neurosurgeon at the hospital. I know that you're not just a genius or the youngest Cardiologist in the world, but you're also a cardiothoracic surgeon". Li Da said with a knowing smile.

The guys had their mouths agape in surprise. Liu Longwei smiled and dragged the shocked Chen Lihua to sit down.

Chen Lihua was shocked and then asked, "You didn't do a background check on me right? Otherwise, you wouldn't have known this".

Li Da hurried to explain, "Mrs. Liu, you need to calm down. I will never do that, or do you think your husband will let that happen? At first, I believed you were just a cardiologist. But when I heard from my chief you were going to assist Chief Surgeon Song to perform a heart transplant, I knew you were a cardiac surgeon because cardiologists do not perform open surgeries".

"Wow! That's impressive". Wu Bohai said in awe.

"Longwei you really got yourself a capable wife". Zhang Bingwen said.

"I wonder how shocked the world will be when they hear this news. Longwei you really have to treasure your precious gem, or other people will teach you how to do it". Su Changming said seriously.

"Mrs. Liu is really an epitome of beauty and brains". Han Jian said with a look of admiration.

Chen Lihua blushed in embarrassment, but she thanked them for their compliments, and they all toasted.

"Sister-in-law Lihua". Wu Bohai called out.

"It's so stressful calling me that, so you all can call me Lihua". Chen Lihua said.

"Wow! See how considerate your wife is". Zhang Bingwen said as he rolled his eyes at Liu Longwei. Then he thanked Chen Lihua, "Thanks Lihua". But Chen Lihua didn't take it as anything.

"Lihua can I give you a hug?" Wu Bohai asked shamelessly.

Everyone at that table had their eyes widened in surprise.

Liu Longwei just sat there without saying or doing anything because he wanted his wife to settle the matter herself.

At first, Chen Lihua thought she didn't hear well. But she asked, "Why should I do that?"

"You hugged your friends earlier. So since am your friend now, you can also give me a hug". Wu Bohai answered.

"I didn't just hug them because they are my friends. I haven't seen them for a while, so I felt a little sentimental towards meeting them after a long time. And besides, you are not my friend, but an acquaintance now. The person who is your friend here is my husband. So if you're looking for a friend to hug, he's obviously sitting close to me, so go ahead". Chen Lihua answered.

There was silence for only two seconds before all of them burst into laughter.

Although Liu Longwei didn't laugh like them, his chuckle could tell you that he really liked the method his wife used in handling the matter herself.
