"You can do investigation now. I'm not afraid because I didn't!" exclaimed Edward with burning emotion. He shows his disappointment that Ethan accuses him of being the perpetrator.

"Sorry, I just made sure," Ethan said pleadingly. He felt bad for his stepbrother.

"Ethan, I'm your brother, we've been together since childhood! I even took care of you when other friends bothered you, I was willing to fight until I dropped out of campus just because I defended you, there's no way I intend to harm you!" Edward emphasized as he grabbed Ethan's shoulder.

Luna just didn't flinch to glance at Edward who seemed not to care about her anymore. 'He or not. I'm so confused, he's even willing to be surveyed,' she wondered.

Viona sneaks up while carrying a black plastic bag outside the gate of her house.

She avoided the sight of the police and left the gate. Viona stood in a residential alley and opened the plastic bag. 'So you're the culprit, why are we doing all this? Is it just because you want to be with Luna, you want to harm your brother?' she thought.

The contents of the plastic bag are the leather jacket, jeans, hat, and mask that Edward wore the night before Ethan's accident. Viona remembers that night finding her husband in the kitchen wearing that outfit.

"We didn't find any evidence," said the police after nearly an hour of searching Edward's mansion.

"I told you, I didn't do it!" Edward confirmed.

Ethan and Luna just flinched with curious feelings. Ethan trusted Edward. However, all this worries him because the real culprit has not been found.

Luna continued to watch Edward's movements. She seemed to be looking for the truth in the eyes of her ex-lover. 'I have to talk to him face to face. A t first I wasn't sure he did it. But his emotional and evasive attitude seemed to show his fear. But the police found no evidence either. Ah I'm confused by this case,' she thought.

"Then just do another investigation, Sir. maybe the perpetrator had the same characteristics as my brother, but it wasn't my brother who did it," said Ethan to the police.

"Maybe that person disguised himself by wearing clothes like my style. To make you hate me, make our brotherly relationship crack," Edward said.

"I thought so too, sorry to accuse you," Ethan said regretfully.

Edward closed his face and smiled faintly. "This time I understand you, Ethan. Because the accit you had it nearly took your life. If you don't survive, maybe your wife has become a widow."Edward glanced at Luna, who was staring at him.

"Watch your mouth, Edward! Every word is a prayer. Are you praying for Ethan not to survive?" Luna looks Emotional.

"Don't be angry, I'm just kid,ding. Of course I'm grateful my brother survived even though I was accused of being the cause of the accident," Edward said sarcastically. The evidence that was not found seemed to make him feel victorious and trampling on Ethan's pride.

"Let's just go home, I'm sick of seeing your brother!" Luna pulls Ethan out of the house. while the two policemen also said goodbye to go home.

"Naturally he was angry with me, I was wrong to accuse him," said Ethan as he walked hurriedly because he was pulled by Luna.

Luna stopped and released her grip on Ethan. She looked at her husband irritably. "Aren't you resentful of what he said? He seemed to be laughing at what happen,ed to you."

"Yeah maybe he said that out of pissed off." Ethan was still defending Edward.

With brisk strides, Luna grumbled back to the car. she hated the sight of her frail husband and seemed to yield to Edward.

Ethan chatted with the police for a bit, then got back into the car. This time Luna sat on the back seat, not always at the front as usual.

"Why are you sat there?" Ethan asked as he turned his head to look at Luna, who had a sour face.

"Don't ask, hurry up and drive this car, I want to lay at home!" exclaimed Luna.

Ethan sighed, then refocused on facing forward. He immediately drove his car back home.

"If it's not Edward who did it, that means my safety with Luna is being targeted. Damn it!" Ethan slammed his hand on the steeringwheel. Meanwhile, Luna, chose to remain silent while staring at the view from behind the car window.

Feelt the police had really left, Edward walked hastily back to his room. He opened his cupboard and rummaged through his clothes. The man seemed to be looking for something very important.

"I've burned it," said someone who had just entered the room.

"Viona." Edward turned to stare at his wife.

"Are you the culprit?" Viona asked as she approached Edward.

"What do you mean to ask that? Of course not me. There's no point in doing such a terrible thing to Ethan. I love him as my brother, there's no way I could harm him." Edward explained as he walked over to Viona who was staring at him curtly.

"Then, why are you looking for those clothes?" asked Viona.

"Honestly, I'm afraid to be targeted because I have the same clothes as the perpetrator. What if I get accused and jailed of course it will embarrass you and your family's reputation is bad in the eyes of people because of the accusation." Edward continued to argue with the reasons he made.

Viona ignored Edward. She walked to the bed, then sat on the edge. "Then, where have you been at night wearing your clothes?" She asked.

"I told you, I was only seeing my friends at the time!" Edward confirmed as he approached Viona.

Viona looked strangely at her husband who was now a great liar. of course she would not believe so easily. "I feel like you did it out of jealousy."

"Jealous? Jealous of who do you mean?" asked Edward with a frown.

Viona smiled slightly as if fed up with Edward's stupid act, she instead asked again, "You don't like seeing Luna happy with Ethan, right?"

"Of course I'm happy to see them getting along and already love each other, why do you accuse me like that?" asked Edward.

"Because Luna is your ex-lover!" Viona replied as she got up from her seat and walked out of the room.

Edward did not flinch after hearing Viona's answer. 'How did he know that I was Luna's ex-lover?' he thought.

Edward got out of bed and looked for Viona who had come out of the room. He looked for his wife in all rooms, until he saw her sitting in her private workspace, staring at the wedding photo which shows a picture of her with Edward.

Edward immediately approached Viona and asked again, "How do you know I am Luna's ex-lver?"

"It's easy to know that fact, because your ex is a model," replied Viona.

Edward is silent, he doesn't unwhat to say because his wife actually knows about his crime and the motive is because of Luna. But he also did not understand why his wife threw away the evidence.

"Why did you even throw away the evidence?"

"Because I love you, Edward. Even though it hurts so much to see the fact that you committed a crime just to take Luna away. Then what do you mean to be nice and learn to love me, while you are still doing everything you can to get her back?" viona overflows all the anxiety in her heart.

Of course, she felt that she had only been given false attention during the honeymoon. Her happiness because she feels loved, just fades because of the fact that the perpetrator of the crime that befell Ethan is her husand because he still wants another woman .
