Undying Warlord

647 Treasure Trove

“What’s the current situation?” Dilan asked the moment he entered the large office in a calm and composed manner.

It looked like nothing could shake Dilan.

Several dozen pairs of eyes turned over to him, just for some gasps and sighs to escape the mouths of a few Ascenders.

The tension in the room seemed to decrease the moment Dilan appeared but that was nothing new. Something about Dilan’s appearance, calmness, and his confidence made everyone relax.

“It looks like the Sun God’s territory is getting attacked from three sides…all three Alliances chose to pressure the Sun God, at the same time…” Sven answered slowly while pointing at the holographic screen that showed the map of Camsun, or what the scouts had found out about Camsun’s land after the Fourth Awakening changed most of the surrounding regions.

“At the same time? That doesn’t make sense. Rather than attacking the Sun God, most Gods would rather have one weak neighbor than wider borders with strong Alliances than the borders they have with them.” Dilan mumbled and he tilted his head as he took another glance at the borders while digesting the few pieces of information they have, “…or am I missing something?”

He wasn’t exactly worried about the attack of the Alliances because they didn’t affect them directly. Only the aftermath of the attacks and the likelihood of the Sun God’s death would create troublesome ripples.

Dilan was fine with the ripples but he knew that it would become quite troublesome for the rest. There might be more than 10 Gods in the mass of the three Alliances that surrounded the territory of the Sun God.

The Sun God was only one Lesser God, a pretty weak one at that, while there was not a single entity close to becoming a Lesser God in the Undying Group.

It might be true that the members of the Undying Group had become stronger during the last three months but they were still not strong enough to face the destruction caused by ten or more Lesser Gods.

Nonetheless, Dilan was proud of his people, especially of the Demi Gods who had chosen to join the Undying Group after staying independent for more than two decades. They understood that Dilan gave his utmost in order to protect everyone.

Right now, Dilan’s physical strength was already close to that of the weakest Demi Gods. That ought to be impossible but Dilan was in possession of exceptional equipment, one of a kind, at that. Other than that, Dilan could tell that his Essence crystal was filled two-thirds. It was only a matter of time before he reached the Peak of the fourth Tier and advanced to the fifth Tier.

He advanced rapidly but that was something he and most of the others had expected. Someone who could kill Demi Gods in the blink of an eye wouldn’t have problems increasing his stats!

“No…it’s weird. There were no signs of attacks before…should we send out some scouts to find out what happened to cause the sudden change in the Alliances’ behavior?” An underling of Sven suddenly asked, looking at his boss.

Sven scratched the back of his head, unsure if it was safe to send the scouts out right now. However, a single glance in Victoria’s direction told him that she was ready to depart at any moment.

His head flicked to Dilan, whose overly serious expression worried him a little.

“Send out the scouts, but tell them to get the strongest camouflage devices. I don’t want to lose anyone!” Sven declared and the underling nodded his head before he issued a few commands through the bracelet he was wearing.

Victoria went out of the office with a nod in Sven’s direction.

“Did Milarn already start forming heavenly treasures from the excessive mana and essence bursts it received in the past?” Dilan asked after he looked at the map for a few minutes.

It was just a thought that lingered in his mind but it was something that bothered him quite a bit.

“Or did the Sun God get something the other Alliances want…or are they afraid?”

He expected that some Lesser Gods in one of the three Alliances would start pressuring the Sun God sooner or later. It was only obvious that the Alliances wanted to expand their territory to make sure that more members of their race could receive the blessing of the Primordial Ascension’s system.

It would help them grow stronger if a race were to be in possession of a bigger territory on Milarn. The planet was not only good to activate the system but there were also numerous unique places that would form thanks to the abundance of mana and essence. These places included the creation of heavenly treasures, the fusion with ancient and long-forgotten realms, and the creation of Gates to various places that couldn’t be reached easily otherwise.

Dungeons, Ancient Ruins, Legacy Towers, and various places would form on Milarn, or they would be connected to the planet.

That turned Milarn into a treasure trove whether the Primordial Ascension’s system existed or not.

But that was also why it was so dangerous. Everyone would want to get their hands on those unique treasures…which was also why Dilan began to question if the sudden pressure the three Alliances put on the Sun God’s territory was related to something like that.

‘If there is a Dungeon or something like that, things might get a little bit problematic…but they will just kill the Sun God, and fight for the right to own the structure. As long as the dungeon, or whatever it may or may not be, is not directly below us, we will be fine on the flying island…for a little bit longer at least.’

Dilan’s head was rumbling, but there was not much for him to do except to wait. It was a little bit annoying that they put pressure on the Sun God’s territory but that was already it, for the time being at least.

They had yet to kill the Sun God, let alone lead an army of millions of subordinates near the flying island.

For now, they were still fine.

But now the only question was…for how long would they still be fine?
