Undying Warlord

555 Slaying Gods

Dilan’s clothes were covered in green, yellow, and purple raindrops. He was drenched and stared at the pitiful appearance of the existence in front of him.

“Without your mana, you won’t be able to survive this, will you?” He asked, despite knowing the answer.

His mouth was wide open, he had a hard time breathing and poisonous rain fell on his tongue every now and then.

But that was not something Dilan had to be concerned about as he realized that the carnivorous poison was ineffective against him.

Just like the description of his Origin ability had stated, he was completely immune to poison. That was exceptional and something he should have made use of more often in the past.

However, there was no use crying over spilled milk. He could just learn from the past, improve and maximize the effectiveness of his current abilities and capabilities.

And this was exactly what Dilan focussed on right now.

He stared at the pitiful figure of the massive Troll and the countless marks that revealed the Lesser God’s last bits of skin.

Everything else had been burned or eaten. It looked disgusting but Dilan merely stared at the lump of flesh and fat as if it was nothing special.

“I am quite lucky to encounter you as the first Lesser God. You taught me a lot about Lesser Gods, and ways to deal with them. Though, I doubt that others will be that easy to defeat. It will be a lot more painful…what a hassle….” Dilan clicked his tongue reproachfully.

He didn’t know the exact count of the number of times his entire body had been crumpled by the Troll of Greed like paper, but it had been very often. It was as if a switch had been turned on in his mind by the lesser God and in only a few hours the Ten Thousand Poison rain had begun to pour down on the Colosseum’s arena.

A large chunk of Fatty Boba’s body had been eaten away and it was not possible for him to regenerate properly without the application of mana. Feeling enraged, Fatty Boba lunged at Dilan in an attempt to kill him but realized that this feat was harder to achieve than first expected.

Fatty Boba ended up coiling up like a snake while using his fat to cover himself in several layers of a fat blanket. These fat blankets were slowly eaten away by the heavy downfall released by the ten thousand poison cloud.

Dilan, meanwhile, awaited the perfect moment to attack while his body was continuously healing.

“I think it’s time to say goodbye to you. If you really want to leave the City of Trials, you can just wipe out your memories and leave, after all!” Dilan said coldly.

His body was suddenly shrouded in purple bolts of lightning. The bolts of lightning seemed to be pulsating and they moved forward toward Dilan’s arm before they created clawed gauntlets of electricity all around his hands.

His hands shaped into fists as Dilan stepped forward. Each of his steps increased the pressure around him and the speed at which his heart was palpitating.

It may not seem like he achieved something great when looking at the pitiful, yet the huge mass of a fat Troll, but Dilan was just about to kill his first God!

There were certain restrictions on both opponents, the incapability to use abilities, and many more factors that had to be taken into consideration, but Dilan didn’t care about any of that right now.

The only factor of importance was that he, a perfectly normal human being, had attained the necessary prowess to slay a god.

And that was exactly what he did by exerting the third stage of the Lightning God’s Fist.

While circulating more and more mana inside the exertion of the Titan’s strongest Unarmed Martial Art technique, Dilan could clearly feel the unparalleled power he held in his hands.

He took a deep breath and punched out, delivering one lethal punch after another.

His fists sunk deep into the burned flesh of the mass of the Troll but that was not everything.

The lightning God’s lightning currents swept through the entire body of the Troll with every punch he issued. The more often he punched the Lesser God, the more lightning bolts swept through him.

And, just as Fatty Boba was about to react, and awaken from the forced state of a mental shutdown his brain had put him in to prevent himself from turning completely insane, did Dilan release the true terror of the Lightning God’s Fist.

He unleashed the power within the bolts of lightning that had swept through the Troll. In response, the altered mana, both inside and outside the Lesser God’s body, began to burn.

Dilan knew that the altered poison mana was inflammable. It belonged to one of his many plans to eradicate the Troll, to burn him alive!

Initially, it was his plan to kill Fatty Boba slowly and to leave some time to get accustomed to the limitations of his body.

The higher his stats increased, the more difficult it was for Dilan to know which techniques he could unleash and what his body couldn’t handle yet.

Thus, after severely injuring Fatty Boba by setting him on fire alive and punching several holes in his body using the Lightning God’s Fist technique, Dilan jumped backward.

He grasped the broadsword that was the closest weapon by his side. He sacrificed his life force without batting an eyelid and summoned the Immortality Aura around the broadsword.

At the same time, Dilan manifested two Destruction layers around the broadsword, one above the Immortality Aura and the other below.

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes for a second to gain full focus and ignore the endless weakness that overwhelmed his body.

“Lesser version of the Immortal Godbringer Amasutra!” Dilan shouted out loud while bursting forward with a shocking acceleration.

He burst through the sound barrier at once and his eyes flew wide open, unveiling a silver glint deep within them.

-Wasn’t it about time that this technique be actually used to slaughter Gods?-
