Undying Warlord

486 Change

Three weeks passed in the blink of an eye and Dilan was slowly beginning to turn impatient.

“Why does it take so long for them to find out where my sisters are?” He cursed out loudly once again. His mood was extremely bad and it was a wonder that the Ascenders around him were not shivering in fright despite all the bloodlust his body released subconsciously.

The Ascenders of his group were already accustomed to his bad mood. They understood why he was frustrated and they felt thankful that he held himself back from rushing to the Arikan continent, especially after the Hordes of Chaos and Destruction had been exterminated in Camsun.

“There is no need for you to worry about anything. Your sisters are alive and doing well!” Williams said as he approached Dilan with a stash of reports.

All kinds of Occupations existed in the rows of the Undying Group, and it was not difficult to find out whether someone was alive and doing well, if someone had died, or if the person had been severely injured.

Using these rare and highly useful occupations and abilities it had been possible for the Undying Group to reunite many families in the past few weeks. After Dilan had forcefully reunited Camsun many things had changed.

Most Temples had tried their best to detach their loyal followers from the Undying Group. Dilan was fine with that as long as the Temples and the races belonging to them wouldn’t cause too much trouble for him and his group.

He couldn’t be bothered about every single foreign race, and it was already more than a bit troublesome that he had to take care of a bunch of settlements that were not able to survive without his Undying Group anymore.

Due to the appearance of the Battlefields of the Ancient Gods and the Gates of Thousand Realms, many new and old races were able to emerge in Camsun, even without the use of the Temple’s unique Gates.

That made things quite troublesome because the number of races that wished to enter Milarn were far more than one could fathom.

Thus, Dilan ended up ordering the Undying Group to shuffle many settlements to make room for the incoming people. Everyone willing to surrender to the Undying Group was accepted into his group indiscriminately.

As for the rest, they could live on their own and do whatever they wanted to do. Dilan wouldn’t be bothered about what would happen to them with all the foreign races that emerged on Camsun.

Their numbers and strength were not frightening for Dilan, and neither for the strongest Ascenders in his group. The Elite Ascenders, whom Williams was training had reached the third Tier and it was only a matter of time before they would become much stronger.

Everyone was giving their utmost to increase their strength and so was Dilan. Three weeks had passed since he had absorbed millions of Chaos Essence crystals, and he had been too occupied in that long period!

In fact, Dilan had been diligent, enough to enhance his stats drastically and to make sure that all of his abilities would become a lot stronger than before.

That was also why his Log of the Ancient had changed a lot in the last three weeks, with the biggest change occurring to his Origin ability!

Dilan had yet to use the 48 Ability merits he had accumulated but he was in no rush. He was still reconsidering what the most efficient purchases would be in the long term.

Thus, he did not make use of the Ability merits yet, especially since he didn’t have a need for them right now.

The change that occurred to his Origin ability was more important than the ability merits either way, and Dilan would rather want to find out why the Ancient 1st Circle tag disappeared, and the reason for the changes in his Origin ability’s description than anything else.

-Artifact of Traction- Sealed Ancient Era treasure, 39th

[Taunt] Pulls all monsters in a range of 10,000 meters in the host’s direction. The host can use this ability whenever he desires.

-The first Seal has been removed!]

Not many things changed about the Artifact of Traction or the secondary ability of his Origin ability. However, what attracted the most attention was the fact that his Health increased by an unknown number of units.

Question marks had appeared where once there had been specific numbers. That was quite confusing but it was certainly not disadvantageous because his Health had increased more after the change had occurred.

As for his other abilities, the only one that increased his stats was [Mantle of Elements]. The rank of the ability had increased drastically as well and it was only a matter of time before Dilan would be able to summon Advanced and Superior Elemental Spirits.

Dilan often summoned two Intermediate Elemental Spirits, and he used his Green Magic comprehension in order to create a powerful combination of elemental attacks to obliterate his opponents.

But that was only possible since the Mantle of Elements ability had increased to a certain rank.

[[Mantle of Elements] Tier-2 ★★★★✭✭

[+50 Strength], [+50 Mana]

The host can augment his weapons by seeking the help of Elemental Spirits.

Stronger Elemental Spirits can be summoned the higher the ability’s rank.

The stronger the summoned Spirit, the higher the Mana consumption.

The augmentation of the weapon differentiates with each Elemental Mantle.

Spirits that can be summoned at once: Six Basic, Two Intermediate

The highest rank of the summoned Spirits: Intermediate]

Dilan was satisfied with the abilities that were in his possession, and his overall achievement. His stats were exceptional, much higher than any existence on Milarn should have reached, and the pieces of Equipment in his possession were no less extraordinary, especially since he had upgraded the remaining pieces of the Hyel Destructo Armor Set.

“As long as they’re alive and doing fine I shouldn’t worry too much…I guess,” Dilan mumbled, a heavy sigh escaping his lips.

“But why do I feel so uncomfortable, just what is going on?”
