Though Blaize lost the battle after preserving for hours, his strength, determination, and resoluteness won countless Marine soldiers' hearts.

"Oh, boy..."Vice-Admiral Tsuru who stood next to Sengoku sighed and thought in her heart, 'Sengoku, what do you plan on achieving by doing this?'

In fact, Blaize's strength is beyond Sengoku's expectations. As for why he did this, he wants to boost the spirit of soldiers and at the same time, Blaize's standing among the marines.

Room of Authority: a large, expansive, and opulent room with tall alcoves and windows along the walls. It's where the Five Elders meet and give an audience to anyone who came to see them.

Right now, they are discussing Blaize's fight with Kaido. One of the five elders who had a scar on the left side of his face and a walking crane spoke.

"His rate of improvement is fast. His strength has crossed the level of Admirals and won't be long before it reaches the level of Yonko's."

"It should have been a good thing for us to have someone like him on our side but considering his past actions we can confirm he hates World Government." A tall and thin bearded man with long white hair expressed.

"It's time we decide what to do with him. If we wait anymore, he will be harder to control. We can't neglect him anymore!"

"His ambitions are high considering his powerful conqueror's Haki. He's different from Garp but Sengoku supports him unconditionally. If we are going to do something, we have to do it now." The elder who holds the samurai sword with him uttered.

"Let's test him one more time. If he's dead set on opposing our authority, then we have no choice but to eliminate him."

All the Five Elders discussed and agreed on the proposal. They knew leaving Blaize in the Marines is very dangerous as he's someone who doesn't obey the orders.

With his strength, it won't be a problem for him to attain the ranks of Fleet Admiral but then, will he listen to their orders? The answer is a big NO. They could already foresee what would happen if Marines falls under Blaize's control.

Blaize's a thorn in their eyes that needs to be eliminated as soon as possible. As for what method they are going to use, it's a mystery!

Just like that, they voted Blaize's fate over a casual conversation. It's not surprising since they are extremists who would sacrifice a countless number of innocent people for the sake of maintaining the World Government's authority and keep the world balance.

Back to the battle,

Blaize didn't stay unconscious for a long time, he regained his consciousness after half an hour feeling the tearing pain all over his body. When he looked around, he was surprised to find the battle has already ended.

And, when he saw Garp standing at the deck of the ship he understood.

Seeing him opening his eyes, everyone on the ship let out a sigh of relief. "Where's Kaido? what happened?" Blaize asked Regis while the latter narrated the following events.

"As soon as you lost consciousness Aokiji-san clashed with Kaido but sensing Vice-Admiral Garp's arrival, Kaido left with King and Queen leaving behind the devil fruit."

Blaize nodded his head in understanding. He knew even without Garp, Kuzan is more than capable of handling Kaido for some time.

Healing his injuries with his devil fruit powers and vitality that recovered to some extent, Blaize sprang to his feet feeling rejuvenated.

It's a rewarding battle as he experienced the true power of the Yonko and his strength has improved by a whole new level. He perfected his Ryuo or Internal Destruction completely while he also grasped the advanced Observation Haki concept: Future Sight.

Besides, coming in contact with Kaido gave Blaize the necessary insight into how to master the Haoshoku Infusion. He's not Luffy as he couldn't comprehend it in the middle of the battle.

He also came to know one thing. Haoshoku infusion can't be taught or trained, one should realize it themself to use it successfully.

Blaize is confident that the next time he meets Kaido, the result will be different. He's not arrogant enough to claim he will beat Kaido but he certainly won't lose.

At that moment, a system notification sounded in his ear confusing Blaize as he didn't complete any achievement nor did he defeat anyone. When he checked, he was surprised.

Seeing this Blaize smiled as he knew what it means. Sengoku promoted him to the rank of Vice-Admiral as soon as his battle with Kaido ended.

All his attributes have increased exponentially. Aside from 2.0 Haki points and 2.0 free attributes points, he gained from completing an achievement the battle with Kaido raised his Constitution attribute by 0.4, Devil Fruit by 1.0, and haki by 0.5.

The major growth came from the devil fruit attribute as it rose by a whole '1' point thanks to him comprehending the true nature of the flames.

Blaize clenched his fist, as he knew he's not far away from challenging Whitebeard.

At that moment, Kuzan and Garp came over after commanding the soldiers to prepare to set sail.

"Bwahaha, you brat I thought you won't wake up for a week considering the injuries. You have improved." Garp laughed aloud while Blaize simply rolled his eyes.

"What do you think of Kaido's strength?" Garp asked.

"I won't lose the next time we meet! I am just a little away from grasping how to properly utilize the Conqueror's haki." Blaize replied.

"Oh!" Garp was surprised by his words.
