Somewhere in New World, Moby Dick, the Whitebeard Pirates ship drifted on the sea.

Whitebeard sat on a high platform drinking wine, while he read the article described on the front page of the Newspaper.

He also saw Blaize's appearance and muttered. "He's young yet so strong. Unfortunately, he's standing on the World Government side. Sengoku's still a man with a vision to recruit such talents."

Losing the interest, Whitebeard threw the newspaper away and concentrated on his drinking. Marco caught the paper and looked at the article.

The other commanders and pirates surrounded him and looked at the newspaper curiously. Marco commented, "Speed Pirates! I didn't expect them to be taken down by Marines and that too by a Marine Captain. It's interesting!

I think we will meet him soon."

"He's just a marine with little strength. If he messes with us, we will show him hell!" The other commanders of the Whitebeard pirates chatted and laughed.

Whitebeard shook his head listening to their talks and carried on with his drinking. As long as he's here, no one can touch his family and he's happy that his sons rely on him.

Unknown Island, New World.

Benn Beckman handed the newspaper to Shanks and puffed the cigarette. "What do you think?"

Shanks read the article and smiled, "Just as I thought"

"You knew he's a marine?"

"No! But my intuition told me he's not as simple as he portrayed. The next time we meet him, it will be different." Shanks chuckled.

Similar things happened all over the Grand Line and even four seas.

Kaido, Big Mom, and other infamous pirates noted Blaize's name in their minds.

Being in the New World for years they know how things work and they also know how strong the Speed pirates were. So, it won't be long before they encounter Blaize in one way or another.

Marine Headquarters,

The Marines are the ones who got the news first. The victory stirred their hearts. They celebrated the defeat of one of the Great pirates of the sea as it's not an everyday occurrence.

The entire Headquarters looked alive and filled with vibrant energy while many were shocked by Blaize's strength and they wondered why he's still a Marine Captain.

Blaize's fame skyrocketed in one night among the Marine officers and soldiers. Most of them began to compare his strength to the level of the Admirals.

The only one who's unhappy about all the ruckus is Admiral Akainu. He just arrived at the Headquarters yesterday after destroying a strong pirate crew.

As soon as he arrived he heard two pieces of bad news: Blaize is back and he took down Speed whose bounty is above one Billion.

What he found ridiculous is, he too had defeated a pirate with a bounty of over 1 Billion but nobody spoke anything about it.

He thought Blaize's rate of improvement will be slow, sent to East Blaue, but instead, he came back stronger than ever. It irritates him. Blaize was like a fly buzzing around his ears.

Fleet Admiral's Office,

"Bwahaha. What did I say, Sengoku? that brat gets stronger fighting against stronger opponents." Garp laughed.

"Well...I'm surprised he defeated Speed. I didn't expect it, he has grown very much in a short time." Sengoku admitted. In fact, he was a little shocked when he heard the report.

The Marines suffered casualties but it's nowhere near what he assumed. It's a remarkable victory considering the opponent's strength and numbers.

"Told you," Garp chucked. "It's time you promote him, his rank is unbefitting of his strength."

Sengoku sighed. "That's the problem! I got a call from above, it's about Blaize. They think he's a loose cannon, so they want me to keep him in check."

"What?" Hearing it, Garp sat upright. "They are afraid of him! Bwahahaha, it's hilarious!"

"Blaize has grown too fast and considering his past actions, it would be weird if they didn't do something. But don't worry, I told them he's completely my responsibility."

Though Sengoku said it, Garp had a worried look on his face. He knew what it means. If Blaize gets in their way again, the World Government will do whatever it takes to destroy him.

The Marine Fleet under Blaize and Kuzan returned to Headquarters after dropping the Speed pirates to the Impel Down.

Everyone on the fleet was given two days of rest and everyone was rewarded for their contribution with merit points. Even Kuina got a few points.

As for Blaize, he was given whole 2000 Merit points. Another good news, he was directly promoted to the rank of Headquarters Rear Admiral.

Unlike before, from now on, he will directly work under the orders of Fleet Admiral, Sengoku. It can be considered a special privilege. Furthermore, a new unit was assigned under him.

Blaize didn't bother with any of this as he directly went to his temporary headquarters. First, he needs a rest and then he wants to analyze his battle with Speed.

His Armament and Observation Haki improved to another level, he wants to familiarize himself with the concept before it fades from his mind.

As soon as he was promoted, system notification sounded in his mind.
