This Earth Is A Bit Fearsome

Chapter 725 - Three Months, Innate Sacred Sutra

Chapter 725: Three Months, Innate Sacred Sutra

Lu Xuan was rather surprised to learn how Liu Haotian was related to him. Despite being of the Liu Clan, there was still the matter of how close the boy was to him.

Given that the boy was a descendant of Lu Xuan’s uncle, the boy was truly family to Lu Xuan.

When considering the relations between the two of them, Lu Xuan was considered to have been Liu Haotian’s uncle.

Lu Xuan’s family had become the only one he had left in the world.

“Big brother, are you a friend of the Liu Clan?” Liu Haotian had realized that Lu Xuan looked rather surprised and pleased after asking about his parents.

Lu Xuan flashed a smile and answered, “I’m your uncle. Well, actually I’m a cousin of your father, so you should be calling me uncle.”

Lu Xuan had no intentions of hiding anything. He immediately told Liu Haotian all of it.

Liu Haotian was surprised and elated, not expecting himself to still have family left in the world. While an uncle like Lu Xuan wouldn’t have been that close of a relative otherwise, Liu Haotian was still just a child. Considering that his entire family was already dead, the appearance of an uncle like that would’ve still made him very happy.

Liu Haotian then called out with glee, “Uncle, uncle! I’m no longer alone!” Liu Haotian couldn’t help but shed tears again.

He finally realized why Lu Xuan had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and meddled in the affairs between them and the Jiang Clan.

Given his level of maturity, the appearance of one such uncle was a silver lining in the dark clouds.

“Well then.” Lu Xuan answered, “One could bluff about many things, but not something like the bloodline of the sacred ones.”

Lu Xuan then put the White Sun Soaring Sutra to work for a little bit, showing off that unique aura signature of one with born Taoism aptitude.

Liu Haotian could immediately tell that Lu Xuan was the phenomenon, the same as his awakened sacred bloodline. One could’ve lied about other things, but definitely not something like one’s bloodline.

Because he was born in such a family, he was much more mature than many other children his age. It was not until then that he truly believed Lu Xuan.

Lu Xuan was able to see that. That was why he unleashed the aura signature of his born Taoism aptitude, and Liu Haotian completely bought what he said.

The boy was told from a very young age just how unique his bloodline was, and how many out there wanted to get their hands on the sacred bloodline of the Liu family.

Even though Lu Xuan saved him, he didn’t dare to completely trust Lu Xuan yet.

Liu Haotian asked happily, “Uncle, do we have other family members?”

Lu Xuan replied, “Of course there are. You still have a grandaunt and two other aunts. I’d take you to them in the future. Before that, though, I’ll teach you about cultivation. I’ll pass a sutra to you known as the ‘Innate Sacred Sutra’. This method is the most suitable for people from our bloodline to train with.”

Lu Xuan was about to teach the boy the sutra which he trained with during his past life. That was something which he developed following the traits and requirements of the born Taoism aptitude after overcoming all the hurdles back in his past life.

When he had reached the level of the Celestial Lord, he then sorted out all the methods he had trained in before and compiled them into a set of methods. That was the ‘Innate Sacred Sutra’.

It was a set of methods that would’ve allowed one to train from the very beginning until reaching the Great Path. Thus, it was most suited to those with born Taoism aptitude. Other than that, common folk could’ve also reached the Great Path training in it, but the eventual effects could never compare to those with born Taoism aptitude.

He passed the ‘Innate Sacred Sutra’ to his mother and sisters before he left Earth. Even his father was training with it, but the effects on his father could never compare to the effects on his mother and sisters.

Lu Xuan patted Liu Haotian on the head. Liu Haotian felt as if countless lines of the sutra immediately surged into his mind in the form of golden words.

Despite having never trained before, he had been around cultivators long enough to know what to do.

The lines took form in Liu Haotian’s mind under Lu Xuan’s help.

Lu Xuan didn’t leave the valley right away after passing down the Innate Sacred Sutra to Liu Haotian. Instead, he began guiding him in how to train with it.

Lu Xuan never left the place for three whole months, setting up a hut in the valley and taking up residence there. There, he taught Liu Haotian cultivation while waiting for his own body to reach a state of Nirvana.

He still needed nine more months for his body to finally reach such a stage.

Before his body reached Nirvana, he could’ve still relied on the White Sun Soaring Sutra to recover his powers to the peak temporarily, so much so that he could even surpass his peak level powers with that. However, he wouldn’t be relying on his own powers to do so.

A year was not all that long for reaching Nirvana. He could afford to wait. The period was far shorter than it had been back in his past life, after all.

Under Lu Xuan’s guidance, Liu Haotian managed to progress by leaps and bounds within those three months of training.

Liu Haotian’s own born Taoism aptitude had always been a cut above the rest. There was then the use of something specifically created for those of such aptitude like the Innate Sacred Sutra.

Some unparalleled fighter like Lu Xuan was also around to guide him the whole time.

It took merely three months for Liu Haotian to have reached the Invincible Vajra level. The boy was just a step away from reaching the Celestial Being Realm.

Lu Xuan was very pleased with such progress at cultivation. Even among the sacred grounds, such a rate of progress was definitely anything but slow.

Furthermore, that was a rate achieved while Lu Xuan was deliberately keeping it under control. Otherwise, the boy could have progressed much faster than he already did.

Lu Xuan didn’t intend on letting Liu Haotian progress too quickly. He wanted the boy to solidify his foundations first. Only by doing so would the boy have minimal obstacles to overcome when making further breakthroughs.

Liu Haotian had lost his parents, Uncle Zhang, and Aunt Liu after sacrificing themselves to save his life. Because of that, Liu Haotian was able to mature at a frightening rate. One could’ve even said that there wasn’t an ounce of childishness to be found in the boy.

He dedicated almost all of his waking moments to training and never wanted to play. Lu Xuan had to actually tell the boy to take time off and play before Liu Haotian was willing to take a break outside.

Lu Xuan was afraid that if the boy was too dedicated to cultivation, his hastiness would’ve slowed his progress.

Despite that, those three months were all happy days that Liu Haotian had never experienced before in his life.

Thanks to Lu Xuan protecting him, he no longer needed to be tense and afraid all the time, not knowing when he was going to be killed.

Furthermore, he was also given the hope he needed to exact his revenge. All that Lu Xuan taught him were also teachings that common folk could only ever gawk at, with every single word coming from the Great Path.

After finding out that Lu Xuan was his uncle and he still had relatives elsewhere, Liu Haotian also stopped feeling as if things were bleak and hopeless like he was at the start. To him, these days were the happiest ones of his life so far.

“Uncle, I’ve reached the Celestial Being Realm!”

Liu Haotian’s surprised voice was heard within the valley. He seemed to have leaped over the three feet high in one go as he ran to the hut and reported the good news to Lu Xuan, who was drinking tea.

Lu Xuan saw that Liu Haotian’s body was shimmering with golden light, which was the sign of having made a breakthrough into the Celestial Being Realm. He couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction.

He then suddenly looked up at the sky.
